(155) My new home
The son settled in BJ, married a wife and had a daughter.
In January 2006, my husband and I went to live in BJ.
On May 12, 2008, his son's father-in-law was killed in an earthquake while going out to SC.
The son's bones were not cold, and the daughter-in-law actually drove us out of Beijing.
In October 2009, when everything was done, we left Beijing and went to a city in Northeast China, where we were greeted by my brother, younger brother (who had passed away) and other relatives.
We stayed at my brother's house temporarily.
The structure of the building in my brother's house is not good, and the square hall is very dark.
In March 2010, we bought a new home.
The younger brother went to Dalian to work, and the younger sister Zhang Luo decorated.
On August 30, 2010, we moved to our new home.
My new home is on the site of a sugar factory in the western suburbs of the city, and it is a new building, and the price of the building here is relatively cheap.
My new home is surrounded by buildings, most of which are newly built.
The area around my new home is full of spacious streets, well-connected buildings, neat and stable.
In the vicinity of my new home, business is very prosperous, especially there are many supermarkets, restaurants, and pharmacies.
To the east of my new home, across the road, and then another building, between the two buildings, there is a small market, which is open all day, especially in the afternoon and evening, and there are many customers and owners, fish, vegetables, fruits, etc.
Every Sunday, on the east road and the north road of the building group, there is a big market, called "Zhongxing Horse Market Old Goods Trading Market", of course, as the name suggests, there are a lot of old things, but not only that, other goods are more, there is everything, it is really dazzling, very prosperous, lively and extraordinary.
So, I have everything near my new home, and you don't have to go to the city to buy it, as long as you have the money.
My new home is not far from the road and only 200 meters away from the bus station. The 1 bus is very convenient, half an hour to the city.
My new home is on the second floor, which is easy to go up and down, which is conducive to the movement of the elderly.
My new home, 69.46 square meters. It is so big and convenient, and relatives and friends come to have a place to eat, live and play.
As soon as you enter the door, there is a square hall, which is very spacious.
Under the east wall of the square hall is a black TV cabinet with a 42-inch LCD color TV on it.
Under the west wall is a couch, which is dark gray. The north of the sofa is a light gray refrigerator.
The north of the hall is the balcony, where the kitchen is located, and the north wall, east wall, and west wall are all placed with cabinets, which are orange countertops, which are very strong and warm.
Walking through the square hall, there is a large room on the north side, which is the study.
The eastern half of the east and north walls is a double bed.
Leaning against the west wall is a bookshelf, and in the lower half of the north shelf is a desk, on which a computer is placed.
On the top of the desk are bookshelves, and on the upper level of the shelves are my selection of books and manuscripts of my work, as well as photo albums and tapes.
In front of the album, there are two photos: the one in the north is a good photo of Sun Xiuying and me under the flood control tower when my husband and I went to the ice city in August this year at the invitation of my colleague Sun Xiuying. The one on the south side, set in the frame. During the Spring Festival of 2005 (February 4), the family photo of my son's family of three and the two of us in our hometown is also the last group photo of the whole family in this life, and now, the son has passed away, and the daughter-in-law and granddaughter have broken off the relationship, this family photo is a permanent memorial.
On the northernmost side of the bookshelf is the computer's microphone, and on the south side of it is a small tray with a small teacup.
To the south of the small plate are four photos.
These four photos, from north to south, are: a group photo of my younger brother and the daughter of the third foreign daughter, a group photo of me with my sister and the eldest daughter, the last photo of my son at the water's edge, and a group photo of us when my son and I came to visit my mother in the city on August 13, 1978. To date, mothers, sisters, younger brothers, and sons have all passed away. I put these photos on the bookshelf for the purpose of looking at the remains of my relatives every day, remembering them, and remembering them.
To the south of the photo is a tea box, which contains precious tea leaves.
On the south side of this bookshelf there is a large bookshelf, a total of six floors, full of miscellaneous items, with curtains hanging on it. Against the south wall is a large wardrobe.
The furniture in the study is not dark, not light, not dark or light. These pieces of furniture were given to my nephew Xiaojun by others, and Xiaojun gave them to me.
Walking out of the study, there is a bathroom to the west, and a washing machine is placed on the north side of the bathroom. There is a water heater on the west wall and a mirror on the south wall.
To the south of the bathroom, there is another room, a little smaller than the study, facing the sun, very bright, and this is the bedroom.
On the east wall under the south window of the bedroom is a large bed with a width of 1.8 meters and a length of 2 meters, on which my husband and I slept very comfortably. To the west of the bedside is a small bedside table, which is for me. My husband's small bedside table had to be placed on the west side of the door, and to the west of it was the light yellow microwave oven that I brought back from Beijing.
In short, my new home, spacious, bright, comfortable and welcoming.
My new home is the place where my husband and I live for the rest of our lives, and we will live here for the rest of our lives (the only child is gone, and the elderly apartment does not take in the elderly who cannot take care of themselves).
I stayed in my new home, very comfortable and sad.
My almost contradictory feeling is not only because the new home is spacious, bright, comfortable, and warm, but more importantly, because it was bought with the money from my son's life.
I used to give all my savings to my son, but when my son was killed and my daughter-in-law expelled us from the Northeast, we didn't have the money to buy a house, so we couldn't live on the streets, right?
The son did not honor his parents well before his death, and his wife did not allow him to honor his parents, and also provoked his relationship with his parents.
His son died, and he devoted his life to honoring his parents. What a great price this is! What a great degree of filial piety this is! Undoubtedly, this is the apex of filial piety, this is the ultimate of respect, and this is the glory of repaying gratitude!
I cherish my new home and love it!
