At the beginning of He Fengjun's establishment of Fangcaohui, the wetland was overgrown with wild grass. He Fengjun found a baby girl waiting to be fed next to the wetland, and her appearance was very cute, and she was named Mu Yaqin. Mu Yaqin then became the first disciple of Fangcaohui.

When Mu Yaqin was eighteen years old, he took over the first task arranged by He Fengjun: to find out the situation of the hostile forces in Jiangning City. Mu Yaqin completed brilliantly and rescued Ah Qiu, a woman of the same age. He Fengjun did not allow outsiders to easily set foot in Fangcaohui, so Mu Yaqin accepted Aqiu as a maidservant, entered Fangcaohui from then on, and took care of Mu Yaqin's daily life.

At the age of twenty-three, Mu Yaqin was ordered to go to Kuchan Temple to steal the "Jianhua Benji" and get in touch with the inner line monk Chi Hai (law name Shaojun). Due to the appearance of Han Xiaoyue, his direction of action changed, and he failed to complete the task, but was robbed of the credit by his fellow junior sister Xiaowan. However, Mu Yaqin fell in love with Han Xiaoyue, and did not hesitate to kidnap Long Yan for this, just to make him remember himself deeply.

In the second year, he went to Tanzhou with He Fengjun and joined forces with Han Xiaoyue to sabotage Qingshuimen's action to encircle and suppress Fangcaohui. He Fengjun died violently, and Mu Yaqin naturally became the second owner of Fangcaohui. In order to fulfill the promise, return Long Yan to Han Xiaoyue. Because of the small daisies given by Han Xiaoyue at the beginning, Mu Yaqin eradicated all the flowers and plants after returning to Fangcaohui, planted small daisies, and chatted for comfort.

Three years later, Mu Yaqin missed Han Xiaoyue very much, and took Chi Hai and Xiaowan to Jiangyuan City, hoping to see him for the last time. Unexpectedly, he was entangled by Cheng Songzhi, the head of the Qingshui Gate. Knowing Cheng Song's plan, on the one hand, he missed Han Xiaoyue even more, and on the other hand, he was worried that he would not be good for Han Xiaoyue, so he had to take the right and go with him. When I saw Han Xiaoyue again, it was already the day of the judgment of Kuzen Temple.

Han Xiaoyue entrusted her to bring her body back to Fangcaohui and bury it with Long Yan, and Mu Yaqin tearfully agreed. After Han Xiaoyue died, he returned to Fangcaohui with his body, and fulfilled his promise to send someone to relocate Long Yan's grave to be buried. Mu Yaqin never left Fangcaohui again in her life, and was only forty years old when she died. After his death, he was buried with Han Xiaoyue and Long Yan, and Chi Hai committed suicide to accompany the burial.
