Introduction—Lead-up Building

Next Chapter

Thirty-five years of the Great Wilderness Calendar, Juyue, the third day of the first month, night, lead the building. Pen @ fun @ pavilion wWw. biqUgE。 info

The night is surprisingly quiet, as if the noise of the day is happening in another time and space, the ancients once had a poem saying, "Poor on the third night of the first month of September, the dew is like a pearl and the moon is like a bow." "At this moment, even the bow-like crescent moon in the sky seems to be tired of the loneliness of the night and run away from home. Only the faint starlight was left on the earth, and a tall building towering to the sky could still reveal a faint light. Let you and I look for the light, with the breeze, sneak into this high-rise building like a beacon in the night to have a glimpse.

The empty hall was eerily quiet, as if the space here had become one with the night, and the only thing that could tell that it was not the same as the night, was probably only the heavy sandalwood planks that interlaced the shadows under the dim light of the ever-bright lights on both sides of the hall. With the incessant beating of the lights, the shadows between the sandalwood planks also seemed to come to life, giving this still space a bit of enchanting vitality. It is not difficult for us to see from the jumping shadows that each sandalwood board seems to be carved with different pictures, but due to the light, it is impossible to see whether the picture is a landscape or a flower or a bird. I think it's this annoying candle flame that can't stop beating, so that we who can't see the pattern behind the shadow can't see the pattern inexplicably, and then even want to go to the lamp to punish these naughty energy. Just, friend, don't blame me for not reminding you, curiosity can sometimes lead us to danger, and if you're not very bold, let me take a look at the naughty lights for you.

As we imagined, the light that could beat so mischievously must be a faint flame similar to a candle flame, and what we saw in front of us was precisely an oil lamp with a flame like a bean. The oil lamp is naturally not a rare object, it is worth mentioning that the lampstand where the oil lamp is placed, it is a kind of sculpture-like artwork that cannot be seen in the material, and the theme of the sculpture is somewhat close to our current aesthetics, all of them are beautiful men with clear faces. It's just that art is still higher than life after all, and the beautiful men carved on the lampstand here are all mermaids, yes, the upper body is a mermaid, the lower body is a mermaid, the tail of the fish is coiled on the ground, the upper body is straight, like a mermaid kneeling and sitting. Perhaps the only thing that spoils the beauty is the dim glow of the oil lamp, the light of which happens to appear in the mermaid's mouth, the mermaid does her best to look up, trying to make her face perpendicular to her neck, and a little dim light sticks out of her wide open mouth, and the lamp oil that supports the burning of the lamp comes from the mermaid's mouth, as if the belly of the mermaid kneeling on the ground is all filled with this dark and viscous fuel for burning. It's just that I don't know if it's out of the malice of the sculpture designer, the teeth in the mermaid's mouth have been finely carved, and the teeth are so realistic that people will be chilled at a glance and unconsciously let their teeth buckle lightly, not to mention that at this time, the thing that acts as a wick in the mermaid's mouth is the mermaid's tongue, which is a creepy thing.

However, the stillness of the furnishings and the fluttering light and shadow are not the most terrifying things here, and you see, under the overlap of the strange shadows and firelight, there is not a woman walking slowly through the sandalwood hall. I guess the biggest horror here should be this woman's heart. Otherwise, how could her steps be so light, and how could his expression be so serious. Maybe there's some reason she has to be here, or maybe she's got something to do, and how do we know it's not both.

The woman walking through the sandalwood, with her petite figure, set off the sandalwood planks around her more and more like a high wall made of sandalwood. The short and thin woman bowed her head along the gap reserved between the "sandalwood walls" and walked cautiously step by step, if you pay a little attention, you will find that there are a total of sixty-four wooden walls in the main hall, and this serious and cautious woman is now carefully walking through the central axis of this eight-by-eight phalanx-like "wall array". The woman lowered her delicate head slightly, as if she did not dare or was unwilling to look at anything around her, even a glance, as if it was these surrounding furnishings that caused the caution of the woman's steps and the solemnity of her expression. It's just that, no matter how cautious the pace is, there will be a day when the journey will be completed. And no matter how cautious a person is, there will eventually be a day of adventure. Just like the woman in this wall array, after passing through the wall array, she rushed straight to the stairs behind the wall array, without the slightest concern.

The lead building, with a total of 66 floors. The ground to the top of the building is 81 zhang high, the length and width of the foundation are 10 zhang, and the body of the building is 100 zhang in circumference. The bottom floor is eight zhang high, the top floor is nine zhang high, there are eight poles to take the earth, and the sky has nine meanings. The middle sixty-four floors are one zhang high and have the same internal layout, with the staircase going down to the south of each floor and the staircase going up the stairs in the middle of the north side of each floor. On the east and west sides of the building, each floor has eighteen pairs of lamps and candles that kneel opposite each other. Of course, it is not so much a wooden sign as a wooden wall, because each of these wooden walls is two meters high, three meters wide and one meter thick. Of course, the wood here is not so easy to crack, and the reason why the owner here chooses to use rosewood to make these wooden wall-like things is also because of the hardness of rosewood, which is difficult to invade by water and fire. What's even more rare is that the rosewood walls in this building are all made of whole pieces of rosewood, the purpose of which is to facilitate the carving of pictures and texts on it.

If we talk about the carving in the building, we have to say the origin of the name of the building, why is the name of the building, what kind of machine is involved, and why the construction of the building is secretly in line with the number of heaven and earth, and all the answers are carved on the four thousand and ninety-six wall-like wooden plaques in the building. Personally, however, I do not recommend that you look at these giant wooden plaques out of curiosity alone, because of the intricate and rigorous patterns, the large and detailed patterns on them, the simple but delicate lines used, and the concise but esoteric text that match. To put it simply, there is a feeling of a huge landscape painting with flowers, birds, fish, insects, tadpoles. And the difficulty of these carvings is their charm, and I will not be stingy and do not want you to see such beautiful things, but just as delicate roses must have sharp thorns, and gorgeous mushrooms must contain deadly poison, the complexity and profundity of these carvings exude a breathtaking charm at the same time, but also release a breathtaking crisis. There is no doubt that a person with a weak will, after being attracted by these carvings, will forget the time and space in which he lives and will not be able to extricate himself, until he finally sits in front of this huge wooden block. It's just that we don't know, if someone really sits in front of these huge wooden walls, will they end up looking like those shark lamps and candles on both sides, lifelike but full of life.

Naturally, it is human nature to seek advantages and avoid disadvantages, although these carvings exude a fatal temptation to the surroundings all the time, and no one will take the initiative to look at these carvings after knowing that looking at the pictures and texts carved on the wooden wall will cost their lives. This is why the thin woman walked cautiously and carefully between the wooden walls at the beginning, the seriousness of her face and her unsquinting gaze did not seem to have the slightest disharmony at the moment, and she thought that she ran to the stairs without hesitation, perhaps just to prevent herself from having the opportunity to look back at these wooden walls that were in danger. It's just that we don't know if her unhesitation will be able to support her to reach the top floor of the building, and perhaps, no one, including herself, knows how many floors she can sustain to climb to. If she really sat on one of the floors, we would not know what the purpose of her trip was, and thus we would not know who built the building, for what purpose, who carved the carvings in the building, how to avoid the death of the carver, who to give it to after the carving, where the people who saw it now, and whether these carvings were completed in the building at the beginning or were collected and brought to the building later, if the latter, then who was responsible for the collection, and why the mobile phone, Was it placed in the building, or did it have a special meaning, or did he or why did they do it...... Many questions will be inconclusive as the waiting building passes, so do you hope that the people who climb the building will be safe?
