Chapter 216: Life and Death
After Su Zimo came back to his senses, he looked at the elderly monk who walked in front of him at some point, learned from the other party's appearance, made a salute with his hands folded, and asked suspiciously, "What is fate?"
When the old monk heard this, his old face showed a smile and he said eight obscure words
"Fate is not extinguished, fate is extinguished"
"The edge is deep and shallow, determined by love and hate"
"The relationship is long and the relationship is short, and the debt is certain"
"The cause is man-made, and the cause is destroyed"
"Invisible and invisible, there is a trace"
"Origin and extinction, there is a thought"
"Fate to the incident, fate to the end"
"Bonding depends on understanding"
I don't know what the situation is, Su Zimo originally listened to the obscure sentences, which came out of the mouth of the old monk, and actually understood it thoroughly, nodded thoughtfully, and didn't say anything more.
After about a cup of tea, the old monk looked at the young man in front of him, and said with no sadness or joy on his face, "Donor, I don't know what the poor monk said, whether to stay here and fade away from the red dust around him."
Su Zimo's heart was full of a cute child dressed in pink and jade, and there were two old and one young in the family, so naturally he would not agree, and said with a wry smile, "Master, forget about being a monk, I still have my concerns, I don't know the name of the master"
The old monk's old face did not show disappointment, and he folded his hands and said, "The poor monk's law is empty and dusty."
Su Zimo nodded when he heard this, looked at the side and kept reciting the obscure scriptures, and suddenly said, "Master, this is Piaoling?"
"Drifting Zero?" Master Kongchen was stunned for a moment, and muttered two sentences before he reacted, "Donor, you're talking about Hongyin, right?"
Su Zimo was stunned for a moment: "Hongyin, isn't this little boy's name Ye Piaoling?"
Master Empty Dust nodded with a smile and explained, "Both, Ye Piaoling is the secular name I gave him in the early years, and Xianyin is the name I gave him for him."
Su Zimo was relieved, and just when he wanted to ask, a childish voice came from his ears.
"Master, the evening homework has been completed"
It was Hongyin's little monk, who saw Su Zimo looking at him, but he smiled brightly at him.
Master Kongchen nodded, and his old face looked at Hongyin and said, "Well, go to the Tibetan Scripture Pavilion and write down the next volume of the "Dizang Sutra", and I will check it for the teacher later."
"Okay, master" Hongyin said with his hands folded, smiling brightly at Su Zimo, and then walked towards the back compartment.
Master Kongchen looked at the small figure of the other party gradually moving away, then turned around, and said to Su Zimo, "Donor, the poor monk sees that your eyebrows are tightly locked, there seems to be something unspeakable, if you can, you can talk to the poor monk, maybe you can solve the sorrow in your heart."
Su Zimo was stunned for a moment, looked at the other party's face that was not sad or happy, sighed, and made it clear what happened today, and also told Yang Leling's experience.
"What is death, what is life, what is the definition of the two, does death necessarily mean sorrow and sadness, etc., does life necessarily mean happiness and pleasure, etc.?" Master Kongchen walked to the statue of King Jizo Buddha, folded his hands, bowed slightly, and asked rhetorically in a kind tone.
Hearing this completely different answer, Su Zimo was stunned for a moment, and said hesitantly, "Isn't it?"
"When there is no delusion, the mind is a Buddha country, and when there is delusion, the mind is a hell. Sentient beings create delusions, and they have hearts from their hearts, so they are always in hell. Bodhisattvas observe delusions, do not have a heart with their hearts, so they are always in the Buddha country."
"If you don't have a heart with your heart, then your heart will be empty, and your thoughts will return to silence, from one Buddha country to one Buddha country. If the heart is born from the heart, then the heart is not quiet, and the thoughts are moving, and the hell goes from hell to hell. If one thought arises, there will be two karmas, good and evil, heaven and hell, and if one thought is not in mind, there will be no good and evil karma, and there will be no heaven and hell. ”
"The body is non-existent and non-existent, in all is there and in the holy is nothing. The saint has no heart, so his chest is hollow, and he is the same amount as the sky. ”
Master Kongchen smiled, pinched the Buddha beads in his hand, and didn't care whether the other party understood it or not, so he recited an obscure scripture.
Su Zimo listened to the scriptures ringing in his ears, and kept pondering in his heart, from the original obscurity, to the later half-understanding, and now he seems to understand "Thank you, master"
The Zen brought by the obscure scriptures gradually dissipated Su Zimo's deep self-blame and the inexplicable worries about this world after being reborn.
Master Kongchen glanced at the other party and said slowly, "Think about it more, and you will be able to figure it out, donor, you are still young, you should not stay in the past, but look to the future"
Su Zimo nodded thoughtfully, thinking of Su Xi'er's cute little girl, since she came to this world, every bit of the life of the two, every move of the other party can cause her to think deeply, the boulder pressed in her heart has been removed, the corners of her mouth slowly rose up, revealing a relieved smile, clasped her hands together, and said sincerely again, "Master, thank you, really"
Seeing this, Master Kongchen also folded his hands, returned a salute, and said with a little deep meaning, "It seems that the donor has understood, rest assured that he is obsessed with the middle and look at the future" paused, and then said, "The donor is really a person with wise roots"
Su Zimo smiled faintly, and said in a thoughtful tone, "Huigen?
Master Kongchen was surprised and asked, "Donor, also know my Dharma?"
"The master said that he was laughing, I just didn't know it," Su Zimo smiled.
“......”
In this way, time gradually lost in the Dharma exchange between the old and the young, and the sun had already set, and the crooked half-moon climbed into the air at some point, sprinkling the soft moonlight on the earth and shining through the temple gate.
In the solemn temple, oil lamps scattered everywhere have long been lit, and the lights are constantly flickering, exuding a quiet light.
Ye Piaoling, also known as Hongyin, put down the brush, shook off his slightly sore wrist, looked at the stack of papers on the table with dense scriptures, breathed a sigh of relief, stood up, walked out of the Tibetan Scripture Pavilion, there was a vague sound of conversation in his ears, he was curious, and walked over.
I saw an old man and a young man sitting in front of the statue of King Jizo and talking about the Buddha, and both of them had a calm look on their faces.
The sound of small footsteps also attracted the attention of the two, and the Zen-like discussion also stopped abruptly, and the two looked over at the same time.
"Master, and Su, uh, this donor, it's already past seven o'clock, can you have dinner?" Hongyin said with a sneer.
When Master Kongchen heard this, he said to Su Zimo, "Donor, it's getting late today, it's better to stay here."
Su Zimo looked at the night outside the temple, he didn't expect the night to come so quickly, and he didn't know what the two little girls Su Xi'er and Yang Leling would be in a hurry, so he refused and said, "I'm sorry, master, there are a lot of things that happened today, and I don't know what my child will be in a hurry, I have to go back quickly."
The empty dust did not stay, but just said, "Donor, this is not close to the city"
Su Zimo nodded, "I know, don't say it, master, I have to go, next time I will come to visit you and Xiao Ling" After saying that, he saluted with his hands and hurriedly walked out.
Master Kongchen did not stop him, watched the other party's back disappear into the night, turned around, came to the Jizo King Bodhisattva, put on three incense sticks, and recited the scriptures again.
