Chapter 5 Pseudo-Scholars and True Scholars

"Sounds pretty good." Hermione stroked Crookshan, who was sleeping on her lap, and she said in a playful tone, "Professor Dumbledore—no, Minister Dumbledore took you to persuade Slughorn to become the Potions professor at Hogwarts, does he use you as a male publicist?" ”

Silver couldn't help but get goosebumps.

"Can you stop being so disgusting." Silver protested, "I thought you should be proud of your boyfriend." ”

Hermione giggled, and Crookhill looked blankly at Hermione laughing as she woke up, then turned to look at Silver.

"Oh no, Crookshan, spare me." The big cat jumped on Silver's face and slapped Silver with its front paws, "Hermione, Crookshan, you're bullying me, what's it up to." ”

Hermione smiled and took Crook Hill away, which was the only way to free Silver.

"Oh my God, Hermione, Crookshank almost left a wound on my handsome face." Silver said in an exaggerated voice.

Crookshan, in Hermione's arms, let out a cry of discontent.

"Alright, alright." Hermione soothed Crook Hill, "Whoever let you laugh at the hair removal of Crook Hill at the pet store before the holidays, it's in return for you." Besides, Crook Hill is very measured, and he doesn't use his claws at all. ”

Crook Hill purred "That's it".

"Well, Crookshan, you're a cautious cat." Silver said, "Now we're finally going to settle it." Really, I usually feed you fish biscuits, so I can't joke at all. ”

"Oh, yes." Silver seemed to suddenly remember something, "Dumbledore seems to say that our O.W.Ls results will arrive today!" ”

"Today?" Hermione exclaimed. "Today? Then why didn't you come early-oh-oh my God--no wonder you called me here today, did that owl know I was here? You won't send it to my house......"

"Don't get excited, Hermione." Silver was a little helpless. As long as it was related to exams, Hermione would get so excited. "I told Dumbledore you would come to me."

"How can I not be excited." She jumped to her feet. "Dumbledore is the Minister now, and he will most likely forget about this little thing, no, if the owl doesn't come, I'll have to go home first."

"You can't do that, Hermione." Silver said weakly.

"I'll go outside and see if any owls are coming......," Hermione snorted. Even Crookhill is still in the chair.

When Silver chased the "abandoned" Crook Hill outside, he found Hermione anxiously pacing back and forth on the platform of the castle, where Balzac the griffon lived. It was lying there, watching curiously as Hermione walked around in place.

Hermione paced in circles, fingers wringing together.

"Silver, didn't the owls fly before I came?"

"Absolutely not, I'll notice if there is." Silver said.

"Could it be that Balzac ate the owl?" Hermione said distraughtly.

Balzac gave a bright cry in protest.

Silver couldn't help but laugh, "Hermione, Balzac never eats birds. ”

"I know I've failed my Ancient Magic Exam," Hermione muttered distraughtly, "there must be at least one complete mistranslation." There was also a Defence Against the Dark Arts practice class, and I also got a bad score. Completely forgot about what you gave me. I thought I was okay with the Transfiguration test at the time, but now that I think about it—"

"Hermione, don't be nervous, this result has been set!" Silver said. "When you get eleven O.W.Ls 'excellent,' you'll feel how ridiculous your anxiety is right now."

"No, no, don't say it!" Hermione said hysterically, clapping her hands. "I know I'm failing every class!"

Balzac the griffon let out another shrill chirp, his gaze fixed on a distant sky.

"Alright, Hermione. Balzac found out about the situation. ”

"What? I can't see anything. ”

"It's normal, griffons have more than ten times the visual distance of humans and can see farther away."

After a while, two small clear black dots appeared in the sky, and they were getting bigger and bigger.

"Look, it's an owl." Silver said he gave Crookhill back to Hermione. "You just lost Crookshank."

Crookshank made an aggrieved meow.

But Hermione, who was still nervous, didn't pay attention to what they said at all, she just unconsciously hugged Crookshan,

"There are two of them." Silver said.

"One for each of us," Hermione whispered in alarm, "oh, no...... Oh no...... Oh no......"

Her arms tightened as she hugged Crookshan, who let out a cry of pain and managed to escape from her hostess's embrace.

The owls flew straight towards them, two beautiful tawny owls, and when they got closer, they could see that each owl was clutching a large square envelope.

"Oh no!" Hermione screamed.

The two owls flew over and landed in front of them, raising their right legs in unison.

Silver stepped forward. The owl on the left has his name on the envelope tied to the leg. He took the envelope down. To his right, Hermione's hand shook so violently that her owl trembled all over.

Silver tore open the envelope and unfolded the parchment inside.

Looking at the palmares, Silver was not surprised - with his "secret weapon", it was only natural for him to get a perfect honor. He turned his head to see Hermione with her back to him, apparently calm.

"How? Hermione. ”

"I—it's fine." Hermione whispered.

"Let me see." Silver snatched the report card from Hermione's hand, "Isn't that great?" Eleven excellent, Hermione, the two of us should be this year's super top students, why don't we come forward to endorse my super platinum version of the magic brain awakening?
