Chapter 1,000 has a cave

……

"It's just that I didn't expect this tomb to be really unique, no wonder the Kangju royal family wants this to be a family cemetery!" With this thought, Liu Dong's heart moved.

After the heavy stone door disappeared like a bubble in a dream, the strong light suddenly pierced the darkness, and the dazzling sunlight shone obliquely into the hole, and the lion head and tiger head, as well as the little gold, which were not suitable for such a bright moment, barked wildly!

Liu Dong, who opened his eyes after getting used to half a sound, comforted a few pets around him, and then jumped out of the stone gate.

And the distance of three meters is not too far for the lion head and tiger head, and they also jumped out quickly after Liu Dong jumped over.

"Chirp ......!"

Finally saw the blue sky and white clouds, as a golden eagle soaring for nine days, the little gold that had long been suffocated in the dark and silent tomb, after coming out of the hole, had risen to the sky like an arrow from the mystery!

Liu Dong also knew that it was suffocated, so he also let it soar into the sky without paying much attention!

At this moment, the place where he stands is a square with a half-meter diameter of square bluestone Pucheng.

Because there has been no human presence for a long time, this square of about 300 square meters is covered with dead branches and fallen leaves, and some unknown small insects crawl in it, so uncomfortable!

But. The Kangju people built this square with great care. Although a long time has passed. However, there were not many weeds in the rocky crevices in the center of the square, and the thick rocks firmly blocked the surrounding pine and cypress shrubs from 300 square meters, preventing them from stepping past the thunder pond.

Directly opposite the cave where Liu Dong came out, a stone road about 8 meters wide and still paved with rocks passes through the surrounding dense forest and leads to the depths.

Seeing this stone road, Liu Dong did not delay, and walked up with a lion's head and a tiger's head.

Although the stone paved road has been blocked by tree branches on both sides, most of the space is blocked. Only about a meter in the middle can still be passed freely, but Liu Dong can still see the grand scene when this wide stone road was built, and thousands of manpower were used to create this stone road that is not surprising in modern times.

And around this stone road, every 10 meters or so, there is also a two-meter-high stone statue, the stone statue lines are simple, not as exquisite as the stone statue that Liu Dong saw in the tomb earlier.

And the movements of the stone statues are all the same, they are all holding their hands high and holding up the stone basin above their heads!

Although the stone basin is already covered with a mixture of rain and dead leaves. It was dirty, but Liu Dong could also wipe it. After these stone statues were built, they were placed here for illumination!

After walking along the slightly curvy stone road for hundreds of meters, Liu Dong's eyes were instantly empty, and without the tall trees blocking the view, an extremely vast valley appeared in front of Liu Dong's eyes!

The valley is surrounded by steep cliffs, and at least half of the surrounding peaks are above the snow line. Even the cliffs around this deep valley are covered with snow that has not melted for thousands of years.

Only this deep valley, which has sunk down to nearly 1,500 meters, is full of turquoise, and here, the miracle of nature's creation is unmistakable.

It's just that this Jedi valley with beautiful scenery and pleasant scenery has not become a paradise written by Tao Yuanming, but has been turned into a cemetery for the Kangju royal family!

Liu Dong continued to move forward along the stone path under his feet, and there were no large animals on the light green grass around him, except for a few hares and pheasants that were chased by Xiao Jinzi, there were no goats, bison, or anything like that.

However, there are a lot of monkeys in the surrounding woods, which are somewhat similar to the valley under the Baizhang Cliff where Liu Dong's first pet, Wukong, is the king.

After Liu Dong climbed a gentle slope along the stone path, he could see the scenery of the whole valley in his eyes, but the first thing that attracted him was precisely the stone path under his feet, which was similar to the tomb of Mausolos in Turkey, one of the top ten cultural heritage sites in the world!

The difference is that the tomb of the Kangju royal family, whether it is the bottom, the Roman column in the middle, or the eaves at the top have been replaced with a circle!

And in terms of majesty, the largest tomb of King Kangju here is not as magnificent as the Mausoros Tomb Temple!

In addition to the height of only 12 meters, it is only one-third of the tomb of Mausoros, and the diameter is only 25 meters, which is also only one-third of the latter!

And this scale is already the largest among the total 58 tombs of King Kangju, and many tombs are even only one-eighth of the tomb of Mausolos, and the height is no more than 4 meters!

The creation is not fine enough, giving people the feeling of hastiness!

Obviously, there will not be too good burial goods in such a tomb, of course, things are not absolute, but Liu Dong still prefers to explore the largest tomb first!

Follow the stone path to the front of the tomb, and after stepping up a ten-step staircase, it is not surprising that there are two bluestone lion statues outside the door.

And the gate is also firmly sealed by the boulder!

These stones, each weighing less than a ton, may be quite a headache for others, but for Liu Dong, it is just a thought!

After the darkness that lasted for thousands of years was broken, a hall with a diameter of about 18 meters and a height of about 5 meters appeared in front of Liu Dong's eyes, and a slightly back place in the middle of the hall was a high platform about 40 centimeters high, and behind the high platform was a golden screen with golden light!

The golden screen is 3 meters long and 2.5 meters high, and the supporting part is four thick lion claws!

In front of the golden screen is a two-meter-long golden table, on which is placed something similar to pen, ink, paper, and inkstone, and behind the table is a Hu bed that is also golden!

At the bottom of the high platform is a table about one meter long, and there are also low stools behind it, and there are a total of 24 long tables and low stools in the entire hall!

In addition to the tables and stools, there are also 8 maids in the corners of the surrounding corners, but unlike what Liu Dong saw in the Thousand Coffins Hall before, these maids are similar to the Changxin Palace lamps of the Han Dynasty in China, of course, they are dressed with a strong Hu Feng!

In addition, the murals on the surrounding walls are also particularly exquisite, and most of the contents are the scenes of the Kangju King wearing a crown and wearing gorgeous clothes accepting the worship of the ministers, and the three-headed golden lion on the top relief as the Kangju totem is also mighty!

From the surrounding furnishings and the content of the murals on the walls, it is guessed that most of these halls were rebuilt by King Kangju according to his own deliberations!

It's just a pity that Liu Dong feels a little pity, don't look at everything here is golden, but there is nothing pure gold at all.

Whether it is the gold screen at the beginning or the gold table on the side, the surface is gilded, and most of the inside is copper!

But this is normal, these tables and chairs are all gold, at least more than 200 tons, even if Central Asia is prolific with gold, but in ancient times when productivity was scarce, it would not appear so much in the hands of a generation of Kangju kings!

Of course, even if they are not all gold, these tables and chairs, plus the surrounding furnishings and murals, are rare art treasures with extremely high value, so Liu Dong is not ready to let go.

After bypassing the golden screen, an upward staircase unsurprisingly appeared in front of Liu Dong. At the end of the staircase is a white marble door embossed with a lion motif. The stone gate was heavy, but it was not blocked from behind, so it was not so difficult for Liu Dong to enter!

In this second layer is a slightly smaller space than the first floor, where Liu Dong finally saw the coffin of the main burial chamber he was looking for.

In the main tomb on the second floor with an area of about 200 square meters, the most conspicuous thing is the five coffins placed in the middle!

Among them, four bronze coffins are lined up, respectively held up by two bronze deer, 50 centimeters above the ground! The golden coffin guarded by four bronze coffins in the center is nearly three meters long, which is not only one size larger than the four bronze coffins around, but also held up by two golden lions!

Although this coffin is the same as the lion and not cast in gold, there is no doubt that this is the main coffin that Liu Dong wants to find!

The four bronze coffins next to them must belong to the concubines who accompany the burial!

In addition to the five coffins that first attracted Liu Dong's attention, there were also boxes of various specifications stacked in the open space of the tomb, as well as various gold and jade objects, as well as various exquisite funerary goods!

Because before coming in, Liu Dong had used relics to reinforce the fragile things, so in addition to the irretrievable decay of these precious cultural relics from thousands of years ago, most of them have been preserved, especially the various Shu brocade, silk, silk and other gorgeous fabrics from the Han Dynasty in the wooden box are more varied, and all kinds of clothing worn by the Kangju royal family every day also give future generations the opportunity to understand the culture of this Central Asian country 1,600 years ago!

After spending more than half an hour carefully cleaning up the burial goods in the tomb, Liu Dong aimed at the main coffin in the center of the tomb.

After going around, Liu Dong found that the four corners of the main coffin, which is three meters long, one and a half meters wide, 80 centimeters high, and embossed with various mythological ornaments on the surface, have all been poured with hot copper juice, and the coffin lid and coffin are firmly connected together.

Unless you use a saw blade to cut off four two-finger-thick copper pillars, you don't even want to open the copper coffin. Of course, Liu Dong didn't need to be so troublesome, he used the relics Yuanguang, but he was a little careful, and easily opened the lid of the copper coffin!

After opening the lid of the coffin, what appeared in front of him was not a corpse that had rotted into white bones, but a coffin full of gold jewelry! All kinds of small gold utensils, inlaid with red sapphires, full of the style of the Western Regions, with a style completely different from the Central Plains culture, are particularly delicate and eye-catching!

After Liu Dong finished packing up these gold jewelry, the funeral items that were originally flush with the coffin were still 20 centimeters less, purely in terms of value, although these gold jewelry from more than a thousand years ago did not have anything that could be called a national treasure, but each one was hundreds of thousands, and all together were no less than 100 million US dollars!

However, in contrast, Liu Dong still attaches more importance to the underground things of these jewels. (To be continued......)
