Chapter 14: The Monster Goes Crazy

After eating and drinking, the monkey was taken by the gentleman to the river, and there were many people by the river, and the whole village should have come.

Although no one told him what was going on, the monkeys had guessed from recent observations that the village used to have flash floods during the rainy season. The torrent that pours down always washes down the fertile fields and floods the village, causing famine in the village, and then suddenly something that calls itself the river god protects the village, but every year the village is asked to hand in the sacrifice, and this year's sacrifice is good to die or not.

The monkey followed the gentleman to the altar, and it was only then that he realized that he was not the only one who had been sacrificed, but also a little girl on it. The girl was a little younger than him, but she was average-looking, and her skin was slightly dark, and she looked like a good boy who could work in the field. But she was calm, and she had spotted him, and was observing him with curiosity.

It was the first time for a monkey to be looked at like this by a girl of the same age, and he was uncomfortable and curious: "What are you looking at?"

The little girl snorted and turned her head away from him. Then he thought about it and got angry, so he glared back at him.

The monkey is too lazy to pay attention to the little girl, and good men don't fight with women, this is what the village chief said.

Then he watched the priests dance and scream something they didn't understand. Seeing that she was dozing, the girl watched with relish. I thought to myself that I was such a fool, I didn't even know that I was sold.

The monkey also wanted to learn about the situation of the river god with her, but he thought that he had offended her with hatred in the words just now, and now he couldn't pull this face when he begged her again.

In this way, he sat on the chair of the altar until the evening, it seemed that the ceremony had just begun to end, and the bells began to ring, and the villagers also dumped a lot of slaughtered cattle and sheep into the river, and all kinds of black fog suddenly filled the village, and the villagers ran to the village, and the originally crowded altar was only a few priests and four strong villagers in a blink of an eye.

The monkey and the girl were also re-tied hand and foot, and brought to the middle of the wooden bridge over the river, the girl's body continued to twist and began to show a look of fear, and the monkey was also a little nervous, looking at the black fog in the river and finding it difficult to see through.

With the thrust of a palm behind them, the two of them fell into the mist in unison and fell into the river.

The drowning monkey began to try to break free in the water, but the rope was tied so that there was no gap in it, and it could not move out at all. Just as he was about to pick up the scissors at his waist, a black mist hit him and he passed out.

It didn't take long for the monkey to barely breathe a little air, and he had the strength to slowly open his eyes, only to find himself in a dimly lit cave, surrounded by the sound of water dripping. The girl was not far from him, and it was unknown whether she was dead or alive.

After thinking about it for a while, he began to move slowly towards the girl, and after a while he came to her, and tried his breath with his face, and felt a little more at ease, at least it was good to have one more in this place.

Immediately began to grope around the waist, and found that the scissors on the waist were still there, and immediately felt a lot more relieved. When he was about to cut the rope with scissors, there was a strange noise in the cave, and a monster with many tentacles and black mist crawled out of the deepest part of the cave and came to the monkey, and the monkey's heart suddenly became urgent, but fortunately it only looked at it twice and ignored it, turned around and walked towards the beef and mutton on the side, and began to devour it.

The monkey thought suspiciously, but he didn't pause in his hand and took out the scissors, and began to cut the rope, but he still looked at the scissors, and he couldn't cut them at all, the rope was too big, and the scissors were not sharp enough, and if he tried hard, they might all fall apart, so he could only use the scissors to cut the rope quickly.

The girl hadn't woken up yet, and it seemed that she had to get the water out of her stomach, so she banged her head on the girl's abdomen, but found that it had no effect. I checked her breathing again, and it wasn't weak. So leave her alone for the time being, and deal with the rope in her hand first.

When he was about to break off, the monster had eaten the sheep and cows, and began to move to the monkey, and the monkey immediately did not dare to move, observing that if it really wanted to swallow itself, then he would definitely give it a blow, although the ghost knows if the scissors could pierce its skin, but it was better than doing nothing.

But fortunately, I found that it didn't intend to swallow itself in one gulp, so I better not provoke it for now.

After looking at the monkey twice, a tentacle stretched out from behind it and stabbed it on his arm, and then it felt a tingling sensation, and blood began to flow out of the arm, and from the tentacle into the monster's body.

After a while, the monkey that felt that it would be sucked dry, was about to sneak attack it, when suddenly the monster that was relatively calm just now went berserk without warning, and seemed to vomit like a human eating, and quickly withdrew the tentacles that pierced the monkey's body, and the tentacles all over the body began to wave wildly, slapping in the cave without crackling, the cave felt shaking, and it could be seen that it was very uncomfortable.

The monkey didn't care about this, it was better to run away while it was crazy, and then he broke free from the restraints on his hands, and then after untying the rope on his feet, he immediately ran to the girl's side, grabbed the girl who was lying on the ground and put it on his back, and ran over the passage at random.

But the monster seemed to have its eye on him, and chased after the monkey as if it had spotted an enemy, smashing all the obstacles that stood in its way.

The monkey sensed his anger too, and wondered if he hadn't provoked him much. You have eaten it yourself, and you have a bad stomach, who is to blame.
