Chapter Three: The Battle Turns Into (Part II)

Harry ran back upstairs to his bedroom and rushed to the window, just in time to see the Dursleys' car turn the lane and onto the road, with Dedallow's top hat in the back seat between Aunt Petunia and Dudley. The car turned right at the end of the road, and the windows glowed red in the westward sun, and then disappeared.

Harry picked up Hedwig's cage, grabbed his firebolt and backpack, took one last glance at the unusually neat bedroom, and then staggered downstairs into the living room, placing the birdcage, broom, and backpack at the foot of the stairs. The light quickly dimmed, and the living room appeared heavily shadowed in the twilight.

Suddenly, a deafening roar was heard from somewhere nearby. Harry jerked up, his head slamming against the low doorframe. He paused, cursed in Uncle Vernon's favorite foul language, and stumbled back to the kitchen, his head in his hands, looking out the window at the back garden.

The darkness seemed to ripple, and the air itself quivered. Then, as the Illusion Spell expired, a figure began to manifest. The most conspicuous is Hagrid, who wears a helmet and goggles and rides a huge moped with a black sidecar. Around him, others descended from their broomsticks, and one from a fierce-looking eagle-headed lion-like monster with a pair of huge wings that let out a high-pitched and powerful cry as it landed.

Harry opened the back door and leapt between them. Sirius hugged Harry and Ron patted Harry on the back.

Hagrid said, "How's that, Harry?" Ready to leave? ”

"Of course," said Harry, looking at the crowd and saying, "I didn't expect you to have so many people! I thought I was leaving with the Dursleys. ”

"Plans have changed." The Mad-Eye said gruffly, carrying two huge bulging pockets, the Magic Eye swishing over the darkening sky, the house, and the garden. It's dizzyingly fast, "We'll cover up first, and we'll talk to you later." ”

Harry ushered them all into the kitchen, where they were all giggling and laughing in their chairs, sitting on Aunt Penny's shiny kitchen counter or leaning against her spotless utensils.

"I don't understand why the plan has changed." Harry said, "All it takes is an apparition to get to the privet roadβ€”"

"That's not going to work, Harry." "We've got very reliable information -- the demon that's still alive. I'm going to do it to you. ”

"Exactly." Talking is Jack. Silver, "We underestimated his power, and now the Ministry of Magic is unreliable. Except for a few of our loyal friends, everyone else has fallen to the Adversary, including the Director of the Auro Office, the Director of the Department of Enforcement, Scrimgeour and others, and you are not yet an adult, and the Adversary and his subordinates can monitor the magic fluctuations around you at any time, in order to ensure the safety of you and the Dursleys. You have to go your separate ways. ”

"What is a trace?"

"Oh, come on, doesn't Hogwarts even teach these things now? Trace, trace! The Mad-Eye man said impatiently. Detect the spells of wizards under the age of seventeen for magical activities, and the Ministry of Magic will use it to discover that minors use magic! If you, or someone around you, recite a mantra to get you out of here. Lucius and Scrimgeour would know, and so would the Adversary. ”

"I still don't understand, if I'm being watched all the time. Why didn't they do it to me before? I've gone out shopping alone, so why didn't they take the opportunity to kill me? ”

"Because for the time being, they don't want to completely tear their skins apart." "The Order of the Phoenix is not without resistance, they can't afford to go to war for the time being, and do you think they're not doing it?" Kingsley, Tonks, and Mr. Moody have eliminated at least a dozen evil creatures in the vicinity this summer. ”

"Exactly, boy." The Mad-Eyed man roared, "Don't waste time, these inconsequential situations can be talked about slowly when it comes to Privet Road, the Order of the Phoenix has strengthened the protective charm of the former residence of Privet Road this year, and the blood protection charm is enough to protect you from the threat of the demon and his minions until you become an adult." ”

"Then when I'm an adultβ€”"

"You're already at Hogwarts! That's where Slughorn is responsible. Moody said, "We're just going to send you to our old home on Privet Road now." ”

"So what do we do?"

"We can only use these vehicles: broomsticks, griffons, and Hagrid's light motorcycles, which are the only ones that can't be detected by traces, because there is no need to chant spells."

"I have no doubt that the Adversary knows that we are transferring you today, but we need to make sure that he is determined to get rid of you."

"What does that mean?" Harry's eyes widened.

"Harry, this adversary is more cautious and cunning at the moment, and he may only send his men to carry out a tentative attack." Sirius said, "We'll have to make as much noise as we can, so we might be able to frighten him." ”

"But we'll have to be prepared, and in case the Adversary decides to take matters into their own hands, we'll also have to make sure you reach the old home on Privet Road safely." "We go to Tonks' parents' house, and once you're within range of the protective spell we've put on the house, you can use a portkey to transfer to the Privet Road House. Is there a problem? ”

"Uh-yes," said Harry, "isn't it obvious that so many of us flew to Tonks' parents' house?" They just need to catch me, andβ€”"

"Ah," Moody said, "the key point I forgot to mention. You're not as Harry tonight. Potter flies in the sky. ”

Moody pulled out a bottle of mud from his cloak. "You use Polyjuice Decoction to become my appearance, and then let me become yours."

"No!" He exclaimed, his voice echoing through the kitchen, "No! ”

"Potter!" Moody roared, "If you don't want Dumbledore to die in vain, just do what I say, if you don't cooperate, then everyone will be doomed!" Pluck out a little of your hair! ”

"Sirius." Harry enlists the Godfather's help, "Speak to Mr. Moody!" ”

"Harry." Sirius stared at Harry, "We were going to take half of the people out of your form to confuse the Adversary and his minions, and split them up so that the chances of success would be higher-"

"At the same time, the casualty coefficient will be higher." Silver took over, "Including Ron, they're all going to be like you, do you think this plan is better?" ”

"But it's ridiculous, there's no needβ€”"

"Don't make me look down on you, Potter." Moody's said impatiently, "Hurry up, we don't have much time to spare!" ”

In full view, Harry hesitantly reached out and grabbed a handful of hair on the top of his head, pulling a few of them off. (To be continued......)
