In the 56th round, ask the Buddha to hide in the Bodhisattva Cave, and listen to the shadow of the Buddha on the stubborn stone

The poem says;

Compassion is to have a Buddha heart, purify all sentient beings I seek,

Seek the true scriptures and practice diligently, and the cliffs appear as Buddhas.

It is said that Qiu Hong gave birth to a son, Lao Niu and got a grandson, everyone should be happy, but the child was born, and Qiu Hong was startled. Why? Because this kid is too big. Other people's children, when they are born, are about 10 catties at most, which is already remarkable, and the average is five or six catties. And generally newborns are born, the whole body is soft, although the face is a little baby fat, but under normal circumstances, it is a small baby who is all said together. Guess what? This child must be born more than 20 pounds, more than three feet long, thick eyebrows, big eyes, black hair, a mouth that is even more terrifying, and a mouth full of white teeth. And the arms and legs are all hard, and they don't look like newborns, just like five or six-year-old children. After other children are born, they should sleep in the dark, but this child can be good, all day long, black eyes are rolling, never sleeping, eat when they are given, drink when they should drink, and they are not like other children crying and fussing, and what do adults say?

Lao Niu and his heart was bottomless, for fear that the child would have any illness, so he specially asked the eleventh Li Ming to take a look at him. Li Ming carefully checked the child and confirmed that everything was normal with the child, that is, he grew and developed a few years earlier than other children, and he was now five or six years old, so he reassured Lao Niuhe.

Since the old doctor Li Ming said that there was no problem, then Lao Niu He was relieved, and hurriedly opened up a full moon for the child, and suddenly remembered that this child did not have a name, and thought for a long time, since this child was a boy as soon as he grew up, he simply called him Niu Xiaotong.

On the day when everyone drank the full moon wine, Qiuhong was tired for a day, took a pillow, lay down next to Niu Xiaotong and fell asleep. Niu Xing sent the old fairy Li Ming home, forty miles back and forth, and it is estimated that it will take half a month to come back. Qiu Hong was about to fall asleep in a daze, felt that someone was pushing him, heard someone call him mother, and when he opened his eyes, his son Niu Xiaotong was standing beside him, staring at him tightly with two small eyes.

Qiu Hong was frightened into a cold sweat, a child who had just been full moon, not only did it, but also called his mother, such a rare thing, where have you heard of it? Can you not be afraid? Niu Xiaotong was very calm, and said in a milky voice, "Mom, you are tired for a day, lie here and sleep, and don't cover it, if you want to catch a cold, it's not good, you better cover it with a quilt." ”

Or is it a mother-son heart-to-heart, Qiuhong saw that her child felt so sorry for herself, although she was full of memories, she didn't think about anything, the old fairy had already said that he was already like a five- or six-year-old child, talking a few days earlier, standing up a few months earlier, what else is unusual, don't blame, sleep.

There are two flowers, one on each branch, let's not talk about how many strange places there are in Niu Xiaotong.

It is said that Wang Zhentai said goodbye to his old father and went to the surrounding famous mountains and temples to worship the Buddha and pray for peace.

The surrounding temples, the largest is Tanzhe Temple, to go to Tanzhe Temple, you must pass through Huiju Temple (later Jietai Temple), go upriver along the Qingqing River Valley, enter the mountain pass from Baishaling, and then along the rapeseed ditch, pass through the ruins of the Zhulian Temple, arrive at the valley of Jile Peak, and arrive at the Buddha Cave.

In this valley of Bliss Peak, the Buddha Cave is not a cave, this valley has a total of 8 ravines, each ravine has 9 caves, a total of 72 Buddha caves, one of the largest caves, is Guanyin Cave.

Why are these caves, large and small, called the Buddha Cave? The main reason is that Huiju Temple (Jietai Temple) is here.

Bliss Peak is the main peak of Ma'an Mountain, with an altitude of 699 meters, and is one of the highest peaks in the suburbs of Beijing. Climb to the top of the mountain, you can overlook the panoramic view of the capital; When the weather is fine, Mao'er Mountain in the southwest, Baicaoban, Baihua Mountain, Laolongwo, Qingshuijian in the northwest, Balcony Mountain and Miaofeng Mountain in the north, and famous mountains in the suburbs of more than 1,000 kilometers in the northeast, such as Lillong Mountain, Lotus Mountain, Fenghuangtuo, Heituo Mountain, Yunmeng Mountain, etc., are clearly visible, and they are the peaks with the best view in the suburbs of Beijing (the tip of Dongling Mountain is submerged in the ridge of Baihua Mountain-Laolongwo-Qingshuijian, but the snow of Dongling Mountain from October to April of the following year can be easily distinguished from the above ridges). There is the Valley of the Gods at the foot of the mountain, the valley is full of caves of all sizes, it is the largest Buddhist cave group in Beijing, among which the famous caves are Guanyin Cave, Chaoyang Sanhui Cave, Bliss Cave, Sun Bin Cave, Guan Gong Cave, God of Wealth Cave, Lao Ye Cave and Little Guanyin Cave. Bliss Peak Buddhism has a long history and rich cultural heritage.

According to historical records, it is speculated that Buddhism spread here as early as before the Tang Dynasty; There is a folk saying that "there is the peak of Bliss first, and then there is the Jietai Temple". From the Tang Dynasty to the present, it has been the territory of the Jietai Temple (known as Huiju Temple in history), as the retreat of the monks of the temple, and the rise and fall of the Jietai Temple, jointly deduced the glorious history of more than 1,400 years, and left valuable Buddhist cultural resources. Because some people taboo the word "Bliss", Bliss Peak was changed to Qianling Mountain by later people. Bliss itself has the Buddhist meaning of Bliss, so we also call it Bliss.

Jietai Temple is located in Ma'anshan in Mentougou District, Beijing, was built in Tang Wude five years (622 AD), formerly known as Huiju Temple, this name was called after the Ming Dynasty, so we also call him Huiju Temple.

Wang Zhentai came to the foot of Bliss Peak, saw that there were many of these caves, chose a relatively large cave, cleaned up, took out the scriptures, and studied them carefully. When you are hungry, you eat the dry food you brought, and when you are thirsty, you drink a few mouthfuls of mountain spring water, meditate and participate in meditation every day, chant and worship the Buddha, get up early every day to burn incense, worship the Buddha again before going to bed, get up early and go to bed late, very hard, never out of the cave.

Wang Zhentai is like this, in the cave, chanting sutras and reciting Buddha, a total of 9981 days.

One day, Wang Zhentai was chanting the sutra aloud, only to hear someone chanting the Buddha's name, "Amitabha, why did the donor occupy my place?" ”

Wang Zhentai looked up and down, left and right, where is there anyone?

Wang Zhentai was still very attentive, chanting sutras and chanting Buddha, and heard someone chanting the Buddha's name, "Amitabha, my Buddha is compassionate, is the donor so attentive? ”

Wang Zhentai looked at it again, but still didn't see anyone, and thought to himself, this may be testing my Huigen, ignore him, the Buddha should keep an eye on it, and he is still chanting carefully.

It didn't take long for the same person to still chant the Buddha's name, "Amitabha, my Buddha is merciful, you and I are old acquaintances, don't you want to reminisce about the past?"

Wang Zhentai couldn't sit still this time, and when he looked up, he saw a stone opposite, suddenly turned into a bearded monk, looking at him and smiling.

Wang Zhentai got up and arched his hands to him, then folded his hands and recited the Buddha's name, "I don't know where the immortal master came from, why he didn't show up with me three times, and I was polite here." ”

The great monk, "Lao Gu is not a human being, but a stubborn stone lit by the Bodhisattva." Do you know what kind of hole this hole is?"

Wang Zhentai, "Xiao Ke is dull, please ask the immortal master for guidance." ”

Great monk, "This is my great compassion, the cave of the deity of Guanyin Bodhisattva of the South China Sea." ”

Wang Zhentai, "Xiao Ke is offended." ”

The great monk, "Amitabha, non, non, since the lost owner has come here, it means that it is the destined person of my Buddha, and there must be the wisdom root of my Buddha, and Guanyin Bodhisattva will be happy if he is here." ”

Wang Zhentai, "Amitabha, my Buddha is merciful, the Guanyin Bodhisattva who saves suffering, Xiao Ke is so polite." When he had finished speaking, he was like a cave and bowed three times and bowed nine times.

I saw that on the stone in the cave, suddenly there was a flash of light, and a Guanyin Bodhisattva sat down, engraved on the stone wall, shining, Guanyin Bodhisattva, "Donor, I have been waiting for you here for a long time, and you will be the second person I have enlightened." I have been commissioned by Maitreya Buddha to wait for you here, do you know why?"

Wang Zhentai knelt on the ground and replied sincerely, "Amitabha, the Bodhisattva Shengming, Xiao Ke is dull, and the Bodhisattva has saved me for a while." ”

Guanyin Bodhisattva "Amitabha, you are my Buddha destined person, the Buddha sent you into the six realms of reincarnation, now you have begun to practice, you have to experience more suffering in the mortal world, 50 years later, you have to work here for me to do a great thing, so I pass on you a Huayan Sutra, a Nanhua Sutra, I hope you practice well, as soon as possible to achieve positive results." Amitabha, Maitreya Buddha has sent someone to guide you in the maze, you still need to be mortal, when the opportunity comes, take refuge in Buddhism, carry forward our country's Dafa, and guide my Buddha disciples, compassion for the heart, out of the way, ordinary symbiosis. Amitabha. ”

Wang Zhentai, like Guanyin Bodhisattva, kowtowed three times, and clasped his hands together, "Amitabha, follow the Bodhisattva's decree." ”

Look at the stone wall of the cave, the body of the Buddha has gone, and the Guanyin Bodhisattva is gone.

Wang Zhentai and the great monk, facing the stone wall, kowtowed three more times.

The great monk, "Amitabha, I don't know that my senior brother is from the Western Heaven Elysium, and the old man is polite. ”

Wang Zhentai, "Amitabha, I don't know where the reality comes from,"

The great monk, "Amitabha, the compassionate Guanyin Bodhisattva, let you take refuge in Buddhism, and please go quickly, I will wait for all sentient beings, congratulations to the senior brother on becoming a Buddha as soon as possible." ”
