Chapter 233: Browse

Fontainebleau, which originally means "fountain of blue", is located 90 kilometers southeast of Paris, surrounded by 2,500 hectares of forest, and has been a hunting and summer resort since ancient times, during the reign of King Louis VI of France (around 1137 AD), where the first palace was built. After several generations of emperors continued to expand, the Château de Fontainebleau became more and more complete and luxurious. The Huaxia Pavilion in the Château de Fontainebleau was founded by Queen Eugenie of the French Emperor Napoleon III. The reason for the construction is simple, it is to store the cultural relics looted from the Old Summer Palace - after the destruction of the Old Summer Palace by the British and French forces in 1860, the commander of the French invasion of China, Mentopia, presented the so-called loot looted from the Old Summer Palace to Napoleon III and Queen Eugenie. At present, there are more than 30,000 pieces of famous Chinese paintings, gold and silver jewelry, porcelain, incense burners, chimes, gems and gold and silver wares collected here.

Of course, this is only announced to the public, and those that have not been announced even exceed the sum of the Huaxia collections of the three major museums of Shijie! However, a large part of the public or undisclosed ones are from the Old Summer Palace, and the cultural relics of the Old Summer Palace in the museum's collection have not been officially made public, and visitors are not allowed to take pictures, and many situations are not detailed to the outside world.

For so many years, various organizations have been desperately trying to figure out what is here, or to take some of it, but there is no return, which makes everyone worry about this place!

Yang Xing's worry about Wang Ming can be imagined, Huaxia has not sent people, but there is no return!

Wang Ming did not enter the Huaxia Pavilion at the beginning, but visited according to one of the two tourist passages opened by the Château de Fontainebleau.

After checking whether Wang Ming had any shooting equipment on him, he let Wang Ming enter it.

The main building of the Château de Fontainebleau consists of a main tower, six royal palaces, five unequal courtyards, and four gardens. Wang Ming first followed the visitors to visit the main attractions of the palace, from the ballroom, the conference hall, the Diana fresco gallery, the porcelain gallery, the queen's salon, the king's guard room, the queen's bedroom and the pope's bedroom, the king's office, the François I gallery and so on.

In the end, when Wang Ming passed by Diana's courtyard, his brows furrowed. The courtyard of Diana, located northwest of the Château de Fontainebleau, is named after Diana, the goddess of the hunt, who stands in its garden. The garden is lush with pines and cypresses. The winding path leads to the secluded. A large meadow surrounds a small and delicate fountain, and in the center of the fountain is a statue of the goddess Diana.

"Goddess?" Wang Ming chuckled. And then I left here!

Wang Ming Zuihou came to the Huaxia Pavilion, where a huge pagoda was placed in the most prominent position in the Huaxia Pavilion, 2 meters high, bronze gilt, and all layers of the body were inlaid with emeralds. On the left and right sides of the tower, there are a pair of tusks and a pair of bronze carved dragons, which are the same as the bronze dragon shape placed in front of the emperor's throne in the Forbidden City, summer resort and other places, indicating that this pair of bronze dragons should be placed in front of the emperor's throne in the Zhengda Guangming Hall of the Old Summer Palace.

The gilded pagoda of the Old Summer Palace is one of the few gilded artifacts that has been preserved in later generations, and it is very precious.

At the top of this golden pagoda is the sun, moon, umbrella and three treasures, representing the most ideal celestial realm in Buddhism, and the sun and moon are inlaid with huge emeralds. There is a Buddha shrine in the middle semicircle. In the shrine is a statue of Shakyamuni. The form is natural and the casting art is exquisite. The lower quadrangle has a lion holding up the whole tower shape. This is a typical style of Tibetan Buddhist stupas.

A pair of bronze dragons are placed on the left and right sides of the golden pagoda, which are the same shape as the bronze dragons placed in front of the emperor's throne in the Forbidden City, summer resort and other places, indicating that this pair of items seems to be placed in front of the emperor's throne in the Zhengda Guangming Hall of the Old Summer Palace.

In front of the golden pagoda there is a pair of gilt braided species and a cloisonné unicorn. These two gilt bells are two of a set of sixteen bells in the Anyou Palace of the Old Summer Palace. Unfortunately, the remaining 14 pieces are missing.

This cloisonné unicorn has a round body, a lifelike head, long ears, short limbs, and a cute shape. Favored by Queen Eugenie at the time. The unicorn had been placed in her former chambers in the royal palace of Tuileries. …,
