Chapter 256: Like a fool, come over and walk back!

While answering questions, Zhang Feng enjoyed the scenery along the way, there were small towns, grasslands, and the sea along the way, and the scenery was so beautiful that I didn't know how to describe it. I went the wrong way to a residential area, the streets were clean and quiet, and I took two photos with my mobile phone, which was completely different from what everyone imagined in Africa.

As he approached Jeffrey's Bay, Zhang Feng once again saw the coast of South Africa.

Jeffrey's Bay is a world-class surfing mecca, known for its endless waves and safe beaches. Perhaps because the season was wrong, Zhang Feng was indeed stormy and rough when he was on the beach in Jeffrey's Bay, but it did not form the legendary tube waves. Zhang Feng, who had arrived from the warm northern plains, could not withstand a few rounds in the strong wind, so he hurried back to the car and drove all the way to the "Storm River", the gateway town of Qizikama National Park.

Storm River's environment, climate, and atmosphere are the opposite of what the name suggests, a quiet, neat miniature town embraced by forest, and towering trees hugging each other on the town's main street, one of Zhang's two favorite towns on the Garden Route. Zhang Feng saw cod on the menu of the backpacker he was staying at — finally getting rid of the bitterness of filling himself with burgers, sandwiches and fried chicken all day on the road.

Tsitsikama National Park covers only the long stretch of coastline in the southern part of the area, but around the N2 there are several points of interest, including a forest trail that leads to a few modest "big trees" in the native forest, and the Storm River Bridge, which is worth a trip to the pedestrian trails on either side.

[Anchor, you're so stupid, you actually parked your car on the opposite side!]

[Come on, anchor, go back!]

[It's really stupid to say that the anchor is stupid, let's go out to travel, just spend money to find "sin"!]

[It makes sense, when you go out, you have to experience everything, but you can't see the end of the bridge, come on, anchor, I'll give you a gift!]

……

"What is the meaning of traveling? If you don't understand, just read the first article on my official account!" Zhang Feng wiped the sweat from his forehead and walked back.

Overlooking the Storm River from the Storm River Bridge, the huge rock walls made of broken granite, the dark and steep canyon and the empty vertical limit of about 300 meters under his feet reminded Zhang Feng of similar landforms in Zhangjiajie. This deep canyon is so attractive that Zhang Feng once asked the owner of a restaurant if there was any other way to go down to the bottom of the canyon than by rowing boat up the mouth of the Storm River to the canyon, and the answer was no.

In the forests of Qizikama, Zhang Feng also saw the national flower of South Africa, the imperial flower.

The camps in Qizikama National Park all need to be handled at the reception at the entrance of the national park, which is quite inconvenient, and the check-in time is after 2:00 p.m., so Zhang Feng has made several round-trips for this purpose. The staff in the office will say that the key to the cabin is not in the office, you have to wait, and after a while, someone will send the key to the door of the room, and finally after a thorough rummaging of the cabinets, Zhang Feng found that the key to the predetermined cabin was hanging in the key box.

"Damn, I really have to tip, it's too much!" Zhang Feng said hatefully.

When Zhang Feng drove into the national park and saw the coast of Qizikama, the unhappiness he encountered during the check-in process was like a drop of water flowing into the ocean, which quickly disappeared.

Before the sea of Qizikama appeared, Zhang Feng had already smelled the fishy smell of the ocean and heard the roar of the waves, and when Chevrolet stopped on the coast, Zhang Feng only glanced at the sea, and knew that the "Garden Road" really lived up to its name. In fact, Zhang Feng was really completely shocked by the sea of Qiqikama.

Zhang Feng's imaginary Garden Avenue is nothing more than a series of European-style resort towns on the coast, Qizikama, nothing more than the meeting of the ocean and the primeval forest, but Qizikama first attracted Zhang Feng to the thrilling monstrous waves that he had never seen on any coast. When Zhang Feng got out of the car, he was already bathed in the salty mist floating in the air, which was the afterglow of the huge waves crushing on the reef.

Compared with yesterday's Jeffery's Bay, today's sea breeze is not violent, but the blue-green roll waves, which have never appeared in the surfing mecca, have been hitting from the Indian Ocean in waves, violently rushing towards the fragmented black reef, and the huge waves that burst like explosions rise more than ten meters high, and then degenerate into white foam boiling on the shoreline, just like the flowers of the ocean that bloom and wither in an instant.

Large reefs off the coast have become unsinkable aircraft carriers for thousands of seabirds, either anchored or hovered over the waves, looking for an opportunity to catch spoils from the sea. Zhang Feng has photographed this scene many times at different times of the day in different ways, and he is still fascinated by the deep and majestic seascape of Tsitsikama.

When Zhang Feng saw tonight's residence, he was even more surprised. Zhang Feng's family cabin has a neat bedroom, a kitchen and dining room facilities, just 20 teacups and wine glasses, the side of the room facing the sea is almost floor-to-ceiling, facing the Indian Ocean, the sea view balcony of the chalet has a small dining table, just right for Zhang Feng to buy local red wine in the supermarket along the way. Since staying in the cabin, Zhang Feng has basically completely abandoned the original plan of walking a short "Otter's-Trail" hike to the waterfall on the shoreline, and any activity in Qizikama is not as good as sitting on his own balcony in paradise drinking a glass of red wine and admiring the white flowers of the sea that bloom from time to time on the sea.

From the heart of the Tsitsikamma coastline, where restaurants and supermarkets are located, climb a hill to the east to reach the mouth of the Storm River that cascades into the sea from the gorge, and three suspension bridges connect the traffic between the river and the sea from several viewpoints, making it a must-see for visitors to Tsitsikama.

The drawbridge is well-guarded and not thrilling, so it is not as attractive as the small supermarket in the national park. Zhang Feng bought fresh fruits and vegetables, eggs, beef and instant noodles in the small supermarket, and after eating Western food for a week, he used the kitchen to make some pure Chinese dishes that were particularly delicious.

This experience made Zhang Feng feel that food really needs to be "felt" to eat.
