The poem says: Lao Jun got off the sedan chair, and the green dragon enlightened;
I am a famous general, Qiao Ya arrows;
Don't build the Great Wall, focus on stones;
Qiao Ya's arrows are there, and the general is hard to find.
Youyun: Bodhidharma Patriarch, the Buddha's light shines;
Moving all living beings, the top of the yellow cliff is high;
The green mountains do not change, and the green water always flows;
Beyond the Yellow Cliff, the light of the Buddha shines forever.
It is said that Umamaki Village is a place with beautiful mountains and rivers. The village is backed by the mountains, facing the plains, a river, rushing out of the mountains, along the west side of the village, winding to the south, this river is called Qingqing River, the village also called him Xihe. On the Qingqing River, there are two cliffs hundreds of feet high. One is called Qiao Ya and the other is called Huang Ya. Huangya, very close to the village, out of the west entrance of the village is. Qiao Ya is far away from the village, ten miles away from the village.
Qiao Cliff is connected to Shuangjian Ridge, north of Mukou, and rapeseed ditch mouth is opposite. Qiao Ya sat in the south and faced north, looking down at the Qingqing River water out of the stinky ditch, and hit Qiao Ya. The Qingqing River valley is open and spacious here, and the river bank is straight. Coming out of the stinky ditch, you can see Qiao Ya at a glance. The cliff is densely covered with pine and cypress.
Qiao Cliff, also known as Arrow Cliff. After Qin Shi Huang unified the Six Kingdoms, he built the Great Wall in the land of Yanbei in order to resist foreign invasion. General Meng Tian led an army of 300,000 and urged millions of people to build the majestic Great Wall in northern Xinjiang, which stretches for 2,000 kilometers. The construction of the Great Wall was a huge undertaking, requiring a large amount of food, wood, bricks, and earth, in addition to recruiting millions of people. Due to the constraints of conditions, most of the Great Wall is made of local materials, so the Great Wall is also built in various forms, and there are brick Great Wall made of bricks. There are Great Wall of earth made of rammed earth, and more of them are stone Great Wall made of stone.
In order to ensure the quality of the construction of the Great Wall, Qin Shi Huang not only let the general Meng Tian lead an army of 400,000 to supervise the construction, but also specially assigned his son Fusu to inspect the Great Wall. The land of Yanbei, although far away, General Meng Tian did it himself. Everywhere he went, in addition to urging migrant workers to step up construction, he also inspected various material factories to check the quality of various materials.
One day, General Meng Tian came to inspect the quarry. As soon as he entered the Qingqing River Valley, he saw Qiao Ya standing on the Qingqing River from a distance, and a green dragon with anger and tongue of fire rushed towards him. He hurriedly set up a bow and shot arrows, and the arrows shot at the green dragon. The green dragon rolled and dodged. The arrow is inserted directly in the middle of the cliff.
The arrow on Qiao Cliff is actually a cypress tree, which looks like an arrow from a distance. However, the formation of Qiao Cliff is not a miracle of nature, but the remains of the construction of the Great Wall Stone Factory. Not the natural beauty, but the testimony of the destruction of nature by the rulers of the Ming Dynasty. It is also a testimony to the suffering of the ancient people.
There is another saying, Qiao Cliff, also called Sedan Cliff.
It is said that Taishang Laojun rode a green ox, stepped on auspicious clouds, and came from the Western Elysium to the East China Sea. Taishang Laojun walked to Shuangjian Ridge, the green ox ran wildly, Lao Jun looked down and saw that a green dragon was entrenched here. Lao Jun got off the green ox, changed to a soft sedan chair, and got off the sedan chair in front of Shuangjianling, and the green dragon also turned into a human form. Lao Jun preached and cast spells on the green cow, and the green dragon had an epiphany and went away with Lao Jun in the clouds. His palanquin was left at the top of the cliff. Since then, Qiao Cliff is also known as the sedan cliff. From a distance, Shuangjianling looks like sitting in a sedan chair.
On the cliff wall of Qiao Ya, it is covered with pine and cypress, which is reflected in the Qiao Ya Bay formed by the Qingqing River, just like a peerless landscape painting. The breeze blows, the pine waves gust, the cool breeze is moving.
The Yellow Cliff is even more magical.
Yellow Cliff is a cliff of Ma'anshan Xilu, sitting east and facing west, the Yellow Cliff Bay formed by the Qingqing River here, sparkling, flashing with changing light and shadow on the cliff wall. Yellow Cliff, the light on the cliff wall is strange and displaced, inside and out, convex and concave, it is a naturally formed cliff. With the traces of time, he became extremely old.
In that year, Bodhidharma Patriarch traveled all over the world, traveled all over the continent, chose to build the Buddhist holy land Tan Zhe Temple on Ma'an Mountain, Tan Zhe Temple under the Bliss Bee, there are 18 natural caves, and the wandering practitioners practice meditation and worship Buddha in these caves. The patriarch also often dressed up as an ordinary person, wandering in the Ma'an Mountain, talking about scriptures and Taoism with practitioners from all over the world, and turning into a Buddha for those who have wisdom roots. One day when I came to the Yellow Cliff, I saw that the mountain cliff was intertwined, the Yellow Cliff Bay was rippling, the surrounding mountains were full of flowers, and the scenery was pleasant.
The patriarch sat cross-legged and recited the Buddha's language. With a finger of his hand, a Buddha's light shot towards the cliff, and a bluestone cliff immediately turned into a yellow cliff with Buddha's shining light. On the yellow cliff wall, a pine stands on the top of the cliff, swaying in the wind.
Yellow Cliff is the first barrier in Niuquan Village. The northwest wind hit the Yellow Cliff along the Qingqing River Valley, was stopped by the Yellow Cliff, reversed the wind direction, and went around the south of Niuquan Village. So the village of Oxpen is very warm in winter. There are Bliss bees in the north and yellow cliffs in the west, so the northwest wind can't blow in.
Exactly: the water of the Qingqing River is clear, and the two cliffs on the Qingqing River,
Bodhidharma Patriarch Buddha light, famous generals will use him as an arrow target.
A faint river, two cliffs, endless myths, endless legends. What other legends and myths are there?
