Chapter 535: Poet, Be Free

Some people put forward the concept of "trendy poetry", taking the meaning of "contemporary trend" and "contemporary readers' reading trend", but it was not approved by the majority.

After the meeting, I thought about it, since this kind of poetry is mainly marked by the formation of a boom among readers, it is simply called "boom poetry".

It was recognized by several friends.

This naming may not be scientific, nor may it be acceptable to the public. Since I haven't come up with a more appropriate title, I have to use this name. From the works of Xi Murong, Wang Guozhen and Luo Pai, we can see some basic characteristics of boom poetry.

Xi Murong is "innocent type", and she mainly writes about love, human feelings (including interpersonal relationships and emotions about the passage of time, etc.), and nostalgia. These feelings belong to "me", and they are also all in everyone's heart, and they are the most precious and eternal value of life, so they can knock on the heartstrings of many readers.

Her work is already well known.

Wang Guozhen's poems win with philosophical connotations.

In early May, a young tour guide in Guilin City said to me, "Wang Guozhen said what is in our hearts," pointing out the directiveness of Wang's poems -- for contemporary Chinese teenagers.

The poet writes about the problems encountered by teenagers in life, thoughts, emotions, etc., "As long as youth is still there / I will not be sad / Even if the night swallows everything / The sun can come back again" ("As long as tomorrow is still there").

Filled with a warm smile. Someone said: "The sorrow and sadness of the scholar are the main theme of all his poems." This is either ignorance or prejudice.

Luo Pai is presented in front of the reader's eyes in the image of the prodigal son.

"Put on my jeans and I'm going to wander

Greetings from afar for me in the charming loess",

"I can't walk out of one way alone

But I'm leaving

I can't leave a footprint in one step

But I'm leaving

I can't walk with you

But I'm leaving."

- "The Prodigal Son".

The poems flashed with the figure of a strong man who was determined to control his own destiny and be a strong man in life, beating the pulse of the people who were chasing waves in the tide of the commodity economy, so he won the applause of young friends who were busy weaving the colorful dream of the future, and some people called it "passionate and romantic".

Whether it is "innocent", "philosophical" or "passionate romantic", the works of popular poets can "touch people's hearts", and the colors of contemporary China are very distinct.

This is a feature of the content aspect of the craze poem. In terms of means of expression, it also has its own characteristics.

Someone once said that Xi Murong's poems are "not poems left for people to study or repeatedly note", and the poems of Wang Guozhen and Luo Pai are also written plainly.

The works of these three poets are simple in imagery, clear in structure, and short and clear in sentences. They use language as a bridge to connect their hearts with the hearts of their readers, unlike some people, who use language as a barrier to separate themselves from their readers in order to show that they are not "superior".

The easy poetic style of the boom poetry is adapting to the "appetite" of today's readers who are increasingly stressed by the pace of life, and to the "digestion" level of many contemporary Chinese.

This is a brilliant piece of craze poetry.

For the vast majority of readers, reading and appreciating poetry is just an amateur cultural activity, where is the interest in deciphering the mysterious "code" and guessing the riddles of chaos?

If someone regards Pingyi as a low level, then, in the hearts of these people, Bai Juyi, who is probably "old and can understand", should be expelled from the hall of elegance, and the difficult and dangerous Grandmaster Pan should be crowned with the crown of "King of Poetry"!

In this regard, Ye Chao could only laugh.

Another characteristic of craze poetry is that it is authentic and intimate. This is one of the important factors that has earned it so many readers.

"When the night is like black brocade

Spread it out

And the soft words are beside the ear

Sweetly wound up."

It's in this way

Beautiful moments/desires

You can/hug me/into your arms

- ("Beautiful Moments--").

Bold but not vulgar, it truly shows human nature.

"You hugged the morning bell, how could you refuse the twilight drum" ("Life").

"Life is not all joy, but memory is an eternal song" ("In Remembrance").

The philosophy expounded by Wang Guozhen is not the exclusive experience of the wise superhuman philosopher.

It originates from ordinary life, and it has long been contained in the hearts of mortals.

"The goal is in the distance", "only struggling to grow to a high place" Luo Pai, lyrical is very individual, but not alone.

"The moment of life is so precious, why don't you dare to open it openly" ("Epiphany"). This is a true call to forge ahead, not a great empty word.

Authentic and moving; Kind, easy to get into the heart.

The feelings they express are also the feelings in the hearts of readers; The philosophies expounded are all philosophies that the reader can realize.

Poetry connects the boom poets with the broad readership.

Poetry is the art of language.

The charm of poetry is inseparable from the beauty of art. Although there are differences in the linguistic cultivation of these three crappy poets, they all invariably reject empty words such as "the earth must be mechanized and the grain must be raised at high speed".

"Tonight, don't eat, don't eat" and other vernaculars, "palm outside the palm, non-non-palm; palm shape, outer palm shape" and other big "black" words and "when the head is lowered to see a **, high erection" and other big coarse words.

They insisted on writing poetry.

Although Xi Murong has no intention of becoming a poet, she is "like a goldsmith beating day and night", refining "gold ornaments like cicada's wings" and "luster and delicate words" ("The Value of Poetry"), and her beautiful artistic style has been recognized by everyone.

Wang Guozhen, who was in the midst of a fierce controversy, had a staunch opponent denounce the poems as "delicately fitted into the structure of sentences with pretentious feelings."

Doesn't this also admit that the poems of Fen have a "delicate" aspect? Let me draw out a few sentences casually: "The sun is still so romantic, spilling laughter" ("Autumn Scene"), "The tide throws the soft whip, the forest sings like a dream, the sun fights fiercely, the dark clouds sneak up on the bright moon" ("Music")... All have a delicate beauty.

Although Luo Pai first appeared in the poetry garden, as one commentator said, "there are endless good sentences, especially wonderful."

For example, there are a few sentences in it: "The mountains have opened up the desolate years of the wasteland with the magnificence of ancient times, and the ravines between the rocks and rocks, and the cliffs on both sides have fallen for thousands of years, and they cannot understand each other's mysteries" ("Years").

These sentences are all poetic.

It can be seen that it is no accident that the craze poetry can be "hot".

Although the best of the craze poems are no less than the best of the poems, the craze poems are by no means perfect works of art.

In fact, there can only be a hazy judgment about its artistic taste.

People have different opinions about Wang Guozhen's works, and those who praise it praise it as "the swan song of the ages", and those who do not praise it are degraded as "influenza" and "sadism of language", but in fact, they are not.

Ye Chao thinks that his position was originally in the "middle", so why do you have to push him to the extreme?
