As for the custom of lanterns during the Lantern Festival, there are different opinions, mainly two theories, one is derived from Taoism's three-yuan theory;

One is from Buddhism related to the Han Ming Emperor advocated Buddhism, heard that Buddhism has the practice of monks viewing Buddha relics on the fifteenth day of the first lunar month, lighting lamps to worship Buddha, so he ordered this night to light lamps in the palace and temples to worship Buddha, so that the common people of the scholar clan all hang lamps, and the Lantern Festival lantern appreciation was formed. Later, this kind of Buddhist ritual festival gradually formed a folk grand festival.

Now two thousand years have passed, there are different opinions about the customs of the Lantern Festival, and even people from Buddhism and Taoism can't figure it out, but no matter what, the Lantern Festival is an extremely important festival for the Chinese, and it is also the first important festival of the new year.

On this day, there are two pujas in the East China Sea, which has never happened before.

Before Su Wen, the Pure Heart Temple could not even hold a puja, firstly, there were too few believers, and secondly, the old monks did not have the energy.

But this year, not only will the newly built Dragon Hunting Temple also hold a prayer hall for the living, but also a "lantern passing ceremony" will be held at the Pure Heart Temple.

After the New Year, the date of the lantern puja is posted at the entrance of the temple and the significance of the puja:

The Dharma can break the darkness, and the lamp can illuminate. Holding the lantern in the hand and passing it on to each other is to pass on the Dharma from generation to generation, and to pass on the light of liberation to the disciples.

This is the theme of this puja, which is to spread the Dharma and the light, to spread the light to all directions, and at the same time to increase one's own merit.

In addition to this, a lantern festival is held at the foot of the mountain for ordinary pilgrims and tourists. Not only at the foot of the Pure Heart Temple, but also at the foot of the Longguan Mountain. In this regard, the two sides have quite a tacit understanding.

Jingxin Temple is sponsored by He Baichuan, Li Yaozu and others, and there are also several wealthy businessmen at the foot of Xunlongguan Mountain.

And out of some considerations, the two sides happened to be connected hand in hand, and not far after coming out of the East China Sea to the foot of Jingxin Temple Mountain, the entire section of the road became a "light street".

This road, which used to be only frequented by a few vehicles, immediately became popular.

For this situation, He Baichuan Li Yaozu and others were full of joy, after all, their hotel was at the foot of Jingxin Temple Mountain, and the higher the popularity here, the greater the benefit to them.

In the case of the efforts of both sides, in addition to the two sides, many people also joined in the excitement and signed up for the first lantern festival in the East China Sea.

He Baichuan suddenly realized a problem, the road began to be closed far in front, and everyone had to walk in, which caused a consequence, if you go to Xunlongguan, you don't have to go too far, but if you go to Jingxin Temple, you have to walk five or six kilometers to go over, up the mountain, down the mountain, and then walk five or six kilometers back.

Now the dragon hunting view can take a big advantage.

He Baichuan is not a stupid person, he didn't ask too much after handing over his mind to his subordinates before, and he suddenly realized this problem when he walked up to a while.

Sure enough, as he thought, from the Seeking Dragon View to the location at the foot of the Pure Heart Temple, the flow of people began to become scarce, and the flow of people was several times less than that of the Seeking Dragon Temple.

Many ordinary citizens walked to the middle of the Dragon Hunting Temple and the Pure Heart Temple, and began to feel tired and walked back.

When he went to the Pure Heart Temple, there were also many pilgrims here, but it was estimated that there were only five or six hundred people, which was really a little scarce compared to the flow of people on this road today.

After waiting for a while, four or five hundred people came one after another, and the pilgrims and benevolent believers in the temple added up to about a thousand people, and Su Wen also took the monks in the temple down from the mountain, heralding that the lantern festival was about to begin.
