There is also a temple called Sorrow, which has more than 100 monks.

Generally, temples are called Jingxin Temple, Ci'en Temple and the like, which are more or less with the taste of Buddhism, or Hengshan Temple and Qixia Temple, which are simply named after geography.

And the name of the Temple of Sorrow is not so auspicious in the eyes of ordinary people.

However, the reputation of the Temple of Sorrow is not small, it can be said that it is famous far and wide, and the reputation is excellent, and the prestige is very high.

In modern times, the entire temple is sharpening itself with hardship, and there are not many temples that practice hard anymore. And this Temple of Sorrow is one of them.

If you take the vow of not catching money, the whole monastery does not set up merit boxes, and all monks do not hold money.

If you eat once a day, you will only eat one meal a day at noon.

For example, every autumn, the monastic monks beg for food. Stay away from the township, walk the world, and educate the people according to fate.

As it is taught. Get rid of attachments to separation and practice together.

The previous points show that this monastery is a place where the rules are truly strictly observed and painstakingly cultivated. Its degree of hardship, if you don't count Zen Qi, the Pure Heart Temple is far inferior in this regard.

And the last point is what Su Wen cares about and admires the most.

Ordinary temples are more or less biased, but this temple of sorrow and suffering is the four sects of purity, esoteric, law, and religion are equally promoted, and there is no view of the door. The monks practice together on the basis of observing the Buddha's precepts.

The pope here refers to the Tiantai sect, the Huayan sect, the Three Treatise sects, and the Faxiang sect.

In fact, the word "religion" was originally a Buddhist term that refers to sects and sects, and is referred to as "religion".

Among them, the Buddha's heart is called Zongmen.

Among them, the words of the Buddha are called sects.

But over time, the meaning of the word "religion" has undergone a great extension. Evolved into: various theistic systems of thought.

For example: Christianity, Catholicism, Islam, Judaism, etc., are all "religions".

Buddhism, on the other hand, is precisely atheism. So there are many teachers who say, "Buddhism is not a religion."

In fact, this religion is not another religion.

It can be said that the Temple of Sorrow and Suffering cultivates together in harmony with the seven sects of Buddhism, and there is no bias, and it really throws away the view of the door, which is naturally worthy of admiration.

Su Wen knew about the situation in the Temple of Sorrow, and he was also very interested in seeing how the monks in the Temple of Sorrow were doing. There are many things to see if they can be used for learning.

Therefore, the two monasteries, Su Wen put this temple of sorrow in the first place, and planned to go here first.

Early the next morning, Su Wen left Fuxian with Xingtian and drove to Chenzhou County, where the Temple of Grief was located.

The Temple of Sorrow is located in the northwest of Chenzhou County, which was originally a mountain col and was very desolate. However, in recent years, the hot spring resort area has been developed, and it has gradually prospered.

When I arrived here, as soon as I inquired about the Temple of Sorrow, the people around me enthusiastically introduced it.

However, Su Wen always felt that the eyes of others looking at the two of them were full of scrutiny, but he didn't know what they meant.

After walking in the direction pointed out by others for a long time, I saw a reservoir, and the Temple of Sorrow was not far from this reservoir.

And this reservoir is also the release pond here, and it is said that the big fish in it can easily weigh hundreds of catties, and I don't know how long they have lived. Anyway, there is a temple of sorrow here, and no one has ever fished here. It's not that the Temple of Sorrow does not allow it, but that the people here respect the virtues of the monks of the Temple of Compassion.

Even if you can't do it in other places, it's a pure land for all living beings here.

For this alone, the Temple of Sorrow is far superior to many monasteries in the world.

Not far from the foot of the Temple of Sorrow, there are several shops, some selling things like bread, sausages, drinks, and some selling Buddhist scriptures and Buddha statue hand beads. Nowadays, there are many stalls selling these under the Pure Heart Temple, which were originally only sold on days such as water and land dojos, but now they are available all year round.

There are three layers of steps below the Temple of Sorrow, each layer is about 20 steps, and there are two signs on the first floor, one is to protect the four big characters under the feet, and one is a Buddhist scripture engraved with small characters the size of a fingernail.

The two walked up the steps, and when they reached the last floor, they saw a stone tablet in front of them, which still had four big characters on it. This time, it was: it was forbidden to release money.

Behind this stele is a small piece of flat land, and behind it is the mountain gate of the Temple of Sorrow.

Su Wen saw the photos of the Temple of Sorrow before he came, although it is a little old, but it is very well maintained, and there is no broken place.

When I arrived, I found it very clean, and there was not even a trace of dust on the ground. On the one hand, the air here is better and less dusty, and on the other hand, the monks clean more diligently.

For example, the monk who was holding a broom at the main entrance was not very old, but he was sweeping the floor with a serious expression, as if he was doing something very important.

At the same time as seeing him, Su Wen also knew why those people saw that he and Xingtian were both scrutinizing when they came.

The young monk was dressed in a hundred robes, made entirely of rags washed and stitched together.

Compared with him, the clothes on himself and Xingtian are too clean and neat. The contrast between "rich monks" and "poor monks" is so obvious, those people are used to seeing the monks of the Temple of Sorrow, and they must be a little unaccustomed to looking at the two of them.

"Amitabha!" Su Wen walked up to the monk and shouted the Buddha's name, and the monk found Su Wen and Xingtian.

"Amitabha, I have seen two fellow initiates. The young monk hurriedly turned around and bowed.

"Jingxin Temple Su Wen took his disciples to Xingtian and asked to see the abbot of your temple. Su Wen nodded and smiled.

"Huh? The monk was stunned for a moment, then reacted immediately, threw down a broom at the two of them, leaned the broom into the corner, and hurried in.

Su Wen saw his reaction, thinking that this Great Compassion Temple might have little contact with other temples, so the monks in the temple would react like this.

Now the monks of the Pure Heart Temple see the disciples of other monasteries, but they are very plain. However, Su Wen also found a little bad sign, because many monks from the monastery came to study, and most of them expressed their amazement at the Pure Heart Temple, so now some young disciples are faintly arrogant.

The amazement is not the scale of the Pure Heart Temple, but the cultivation methods, diet, system and those small animals that are extremely humane in the Pure Heart Temple, but also because the abbot always shows miracles, and there are two great monks in the temple.

Now this manifestation is not obvious, but Su Wen is very keen to find it.

While waiting, Su Wen looked at the Temple of Sorrow and thought about his own thoughts.

Not long after, the young monk ran out again and asked Su and the two, "Please come in, two of you." ”

Su Wen and the others went in, and they didn't go far before they met a middle-aged monk who was coming out, also dressed in a hundred clothes, his eyebrows drooping from the corners of his eyes, and he had a compassionate look.

"I didn't expect a Bodhisattva to arrive today, but it was rude. The middle-aged monk said with a smile.
