Chapter 221: Strange Girl

Kissing or something, you really can't rush it.

The normal procedure should be to bring up the engagement first, and then do it.

Under the Christmas tree, Aven's face was red and hot, and he looked up at the dark night sky and took a deep breath, trying to calm himself down.

Since it has become an established fact, and the relatives are all kissed, they should take the corresponding responsibility, and there is no point in continuing to entangle.

However, the thought of the time when he first touched Hermione's lips was a cool, soft feeling, and a hint of sweetness

Aivan's face turned red again, and he was thinking nonsense in his head, if he asked for a relationship, would Hermione agree?

If she agreed, does that mean that she can do that kind of thing with her in the future?

Evan shook his head vigorously, unable to think any further.

He tried to pace his breathing and prepared to look for Hermione in the alley, and after taking two steps, he stopped again.

He heard a crisp, subtle sound coming from a dark corner, where someone was humming quietly.

The tune of the song was very strange, not cheerful Christmas music, but a slow, beautiful melody with a crisp voice with a bit of sadness in it, and Evan had never heard a song like it before.

He hurriedly turned his head, and in the faint light of his wand, he saw a girl huddled in a dark doorway, humming a song in a low voice.

The girl has long, pale yellow hair that is slightly curled.

She was wearing the pink straw hat that Aven and Hermione had just been looking for, the brim of which was pressed down so low that she couldn't see exactly what it looked like.

In appearance, she was very slender and thin, about the same height as Ginny, and about the same age, about eleven or twelve years old.

The girl was wearing a set of shabby black wizard's robes, which were very old styles, loose and extremely ill-fitting, like the clothes of a stout adult wizard, and after slight alterations, they were put on her body, and the cuffs were pulled up several times before they barely fell off.

The dusty robes, the red stains scattered from top to bottom, spots, were everywhere.

The stains were left by some kind of liquid drop, and they looked shocking, as if they were the result of some kind of magic potion or blood falling on them.

Evan squinted his eyes and cautiously took a half-step forward.

He was secretly vigilant, he didn't know if the dark red spots on the girl's body were potions or blood stains, but they were obviously not normal stains.

Following what Dumbledore had taught him in the cavern, Evan sensed danger in the girl.

This seemingly weak girl has a strong magic in her, and the traces left by the powerful magic she have released loomed at her side.

Evan didn't know what kind of magic it was, it was probably a spell he hadn't mastered.

Aside from the suspicious spots and stains on the robes and the unusually strong magical reaction that did not match her age, it was very unreasonable for a little girl of this age to sit alone in this remote, dim, silent alley at night.

Even though there was a Christmas party in Diagon Alley tonight, and a lot of people gathered here, it was still too unusual.

As the distance between the two narrowed, Evan noticed the girl's exposed skin on the outside of her clothes.

Her skin was very white, but it was not the milky white of normal people's health, but the kind of pale that had not seen the sun for a long time, and had not seen the slightest blood.

It's like a corpse, but it doesn't look very offensive.

Of course, it is also possible that this girl is too pretty.

Evan saw her appearance hidden under the brim of her hat, and her delicate facial features were reasonably matched, more beautiful than all the girls he had ever seen.

It's like a porcelain doll, with an indescribable special temperament.

The most striking thing is her eyes, the girl's smart eyes are not the usual color, but a very rare burgundy, very pure and thorough.

Evan took one look at it and fell into it. He hurriedly shook his head, clearing his consciousness a bit.

"Merry Christmas!" Evan nodded briefly, said softly, "My name is Evan Mason, and I'm a second-year Hogwarts student. Who are you and why are you here?"

As he spoke, he naturally placed his wand across his chest and looked at the girl warily.

Hearing Aven's voice, the singing stopped, and the girl did not answer, not even moving.

She just looked up at Aven with a slightly surprised expression, as if she didn't expect someone to speak to her.

Then, her delicate nose twitched slightly, as if she had smelled something.

"The smell of food!" she said softly, a little hoarse in her crisp voice.

The girl's clueless words made Evan take a step back.

He looked at the other party in horror, his mind was highly concentrated, and the magic power in his whole body naturally converged on the wand he clenched in his hand.

Imagine what it would be like for a stranger to see the first thing you say, mention the taste of food, and then look at you in a daze, as if you are the food in his eyes?

Weird, with a bit creepy!

The last time Evan had heard something like this was when Werewolf Greyback had said it to himself and Hermione.

Because of his long-term consumption of human flesh, Greyback has become obsessed with the taste of human flesh, in his eyes, human beings are ordinary food, even if it is not a state of transformation, he has long been feeding on people, especially children.

If the girl, like Werewolf Greyback, sees herself as food in her eyes, then she is most likely not human either.

Looking at the blood stains on her black robe, as well as the looming power of magic, Evan felt a chill.

This is not good news, today is still Christmas, and he doesn't want to encounter some inexplicable things again. However, Evan was not too worried, unlike Hogsmeade, there was a crowd of revelers not far from the alley, and if there was a fight, they would be there quickly.

Evan took another step back, and he was about to leave here to find Hermione.

But the girl on the other side seemed to be interested in Aven, she wrinkled her nose and sniffed the air, repeating, "The smell of food." ”

The voice with a hint of hoarseness in the crispness is very good, but the words spoken are definitely not normal.

She stood up and walked over to Aven, as if she hadn't seen the wand in Aven's hand. She also has no wand in her hand, and she has no dangerous actions such as casting spells or transforming into shapes. In fact, her body was even thinner against the black robes, and she didn't look dangerous at all.

Evan hesitated, not knowing what to do.

If the girl had used evil black magic to attack herself, or if she had said a few more words, Evan wouldn't have been as embarrassed as she is now.

He stood there with his wand raised, completely unsure of what to do, whether to communicate with her or attack with magic.

At the very least, we should figure out the situation in front of us, right?!(To be continued.) )
