Chapter 144: The Bogut in the Closet

Evan thought about the prophecy as he climbed down the stairs.

In addition to the prophecy just now, he is still thinking that he should probably take a divination class next year!

Although Professor Trelawney is usually unreliable, like a vulgar liar, she always likes to make some tragic predictions to her students, but once she enters the state of true prophecy and obtains the veritable prophetic ability, the predictions she makes are crucial to the future development.

In the words of Professor Trelawney, with the return of Voldemort, the signs of fate will become clearer.

Evan must maintain constant contact with the other party to ensure that he is the first to know about the new prophecy.

Five minutes later, he came to the door of Professor Lupin's office, and there was no one in the narrow corridor on the third floor, not even the portraits in the hallway.

The temperature on the third floor is obviously much lower than on the other floors, and the gusts of wind blowing from nowhere make it look particularly gloomy. Evan suddenly discovers that perhaps Voldemort's curse on Defence Against the Dark Arts class has caused these rooms to have a bit of a bad luck as well, and it seems that all the unfortunate things happened on this level.

"Alaho Cave Open!" he pulled out his wand and tapped lightly on the door of Professor Lupin's office.

With a click, the door opened, and the room was furnished the same as it had been last night, only more deserted.

With a wave of his wand, Evan lit the fireplace. The warm flames dispelled the cold, and the green monster Grindillo soothed its limbs in the large tank in the corner, floating on the water, constantly spitting bubbles upward. Upon seeing the light, it immediately buried itself in a mess of aquatic plants in the corner of the tank.

Although it is not good to turn over other people's things, Evan believes that Professor Lupin will forgive himself after knowing the current situation. Standing in front of the fireplace, he took a closer look at the room, and there were very few places to put things, and it didn't seem to be particularly difficult to find a map of the living spots.

But in reality, it's not!

Ten minutes later, Evan still hadn't found the parchment.

He had gone through Professor Lupin's desk, and there was nothing on it except a few missing teacups and an old kettle, textbooks, and student homework.

Professor Lupin certainly wouldn't have taken the map with him, since it wasn't on his desk, it could be somewhere else.

Aven's gaze turned to the old wardrobe next to the water tank, where the faculty members kept their surplus robes.

He walked over to the closet, which suddenly shook and slammed against the wall.

Avan was startled, and he raised his wand to the old wardrobe, not knowing what was inside. He cautiously opened the closet door, and there was nothing inside except for a small, worn-out, almost faded suitcase and two extremely old, patched wizard robes.

From these things, we can see how financially constrained Professor Lupin really is.

No one wanted to hire a werewolf, he had been wandering alone, and even the only two robes left on his body were from fifteen years ago, and Evan vaguely remembered seeing Professor Lupin wear it in Harry's photo album, when he was attending Harry's parents' wedding.

Professor Lupin was so pitiful, and Evan sighed, and he stepped forward and flipped through it twice, finding a map of the living spot in one of his robes.

This dress was the same one Professor Lupin had worn yesterday, and before Evan could rejoice, the old wardrobe in front of him shook again. This time, he noticed where the wardrobe was shaking, and he looked down to find a small compartment underneath the wardrobe.

He hesitated for a moment, and then pulled the door open, and it was very dim inside, as if something was hidden in it, like it was

Evan took two steps back, his eyes wide open, gasping for air.

"W-This can't be!" he had just seen a face in the closet.

It was Hermione's face!!

Not his familiar smiling face, but a frightened, bloodstained, pale face like a dead man.

It was horrible, and Evan never expected to see anything like it. A feeling of fear rose from within, and he swallowed, sweat all over his body, and his right hand holding his wand trembled slightly. He wanted to check in the past, but he was afraid to see that face again.

Evan took a few deep breaths and forced himself to calm down.

It was ridiculous, how could Hermione have run into Professor Lupin's closet, she had been staying upstairs with Harry in the Gryffindor common room, and she had just hugged her.

Could it be that Hermione was actually dead, and that her body had been cut into pieces and hidden in the castle?!And the one who had been in contact with him was actually pretended by someone else through a polyjuice potion?!Or did Professor Lupin have a special habit of hiding Hermione's avatar in his closet?!

Evan shook his head vigorously and shook away the ridiculous ideas.

"Fluorescent flickering!" he muttered softly, the tip of his wand glowing intensely bright, completely illuminating the dimly lit office, and he was ready to check it out.

Before Evan could move, he saw Hermione crawl out of the old closet in an eerie pose.

Under the bright light, Ai Wen could clearly see a grim smile on the corner of her mouth, her expression was cold, and her body was covered in blood.

She was approaching herself, and every step she took was extremely difficult because of her injury.

Evan took a step back and involuntarily tightened the wand in his hand.

"Hermione?!" he tried to shout, but the voice was too low to hear.

There was no reaction from the other side, and she was still approaching Aivan, her body stiff like a walking corpse.

"No, you're not Hermione! don't come here!" Evan suddenly shouted, the magic power in his body gathering wildly towards the wand in his hand.

Hearing his words, "Hermione" stopped suddenly, whatever she was, she seemed to sense a dangerous aura from the wand in Aven's hand.

In the next second, her body began to deform.

With a thud, Hermione vanished, her body shrinking into a black mass of ink in midair, and then a stout humanoid monster appeared in front of Aven, and he saw that the other person was covered in long black hair. Further up, there was a ferocious, terrifying wolf head! It was a werewolf, and the same guy that Evan had ever seen, the werewolf Fenrir Greyback who attacked him and Hermione in Hogsmeade yesterday.

The other party's eyes were full of blood and madness, and he looked ten thousand times more terrifying and ferocious than Hermione just now.

But Evan didn't feel scared at all, and for some reason, he suddenly wanted to laugh.

He knew what the other party was, it was a boggart!

Evan had heard Harry tell him the other day that in order to help him practice the Patronus Charm, Professor Lupin had found a new Boggart in Filch's filing cabinet, which they had been using to simulate Dementors.
