Chapter 14: Reality or Dream?
Mike gradually regained consciousness, and the pain in his neck quickly brought him to his senses. He found himself sitting in a completely unfamiliar, Middle Eastern-style palace.
"He's awake, he's awake! he's awake at last, princess!" a strange woman shouted as she rushed out of the room
"I'm dreaming, I'm dreaming!" Mike struggled to spit out a word. (He almost lost his voice when he shouted.)
Eva came in through the door, carrying a large plate of food.
"Where am I? where is my mother?
"Shhhh You're hurting me.." Eva grabbed the plate in her hand and whispered. Eva's words seemed to have a magical calming effect, and Mike calmed down a little.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to. What about my mother, what about my sister?" Mike waited anxiously for an answer. But Eva just hung her head and frowned, saying nothing.
Mike seemed to understand everything. It's not a dream, it's not a fantasy, it's not a place where you can go back right away with your eyes closed. He was stupidly pestle in place, unconsciously shaking his head slightly, muttering something on his lips. Tears rolled in his eyes.
"I know it's hard to accept, but when it happens, no one can change it, can it? I have already told my father to send someone to take care of your mother's funeral. It's your mother's relic. With that, Eva picked up a black brown leather booklet from the table and handed it to Mike.
Mike's head hurt as if it had been slashed by an axe, and it buzzed inside. He sat down on the ground with his ass slumped, hugged the book tightly in his arms with both hands, and cried unscrupulously like a child with his head buried in his head.
Eva was running out of words again, and she had to crouch aside and quietly accompany Mike, as if she could share a little of his sadness by the side. At this moment, the orange-red light of the setting sun sprinkled the entire room, giving this spacious palace a hint of sour taste. I don't know how long it took for Casey to come in.
"What about my sister?" Mike asked, recovering a little hoarsely.
"I'm coming in to tell you this. Father has investigated something, and your sister should be safe for the time being. But he's going to tell you face to face, come with me, Mike. Kathy replied immediately.
The screen cuts to the palace
"Child, what is your relationship with the Wing Clan?" the old king asked in a low voice.
"I don't know anything about the Wings, I've never heard of them. Mike replied.
"Come, kid. Lend you a little blood. The old king said as he motioned for Mike to drip blood into a glass.
