Only when you feel Faxi can you really choose the right classic. But there are not many people who can really have this kind of Faxi, what should I do? Then cast a net all over the sky, read all the scriptures several times, take your time to find the feeling, and if you still can't find it, you will go out and travel to various temples to find your fate, which is also called colliding with the Fa.
Finding the classics that suit you and finding a teacher who has a relationship with you are all things that a successful monk must do, if you can't do it, then continue to look for it.
This is not only the practice of Zen Buddhism, but also the practice of most Buddhist sects, but the Vinaya is different. Vinaya majors in precepts, and as long as you strictly abide by the extremely harsh and cruel laws, you are practicing, and then you are practicing asceticism in various places.
The last of the later monks, Master Hongyi, was the lawyer of the Vinaya.
Since the Five Dynasties and the Two Song Dynasties, Zen Buddhism has flourished, and Vinaya Buddhism has been declining day by day, because even the most sincere monks are afraid of the laws of Vinaya, so they have turned to Zen Buddhism to practice meditation, hoping to become a Buddha one day.
