These important festivals are associated with the numbers 3, 6 and 9, so the steps in front of this square are 39 steps, and the diameter of the square is also 39 meters.

Opposite to Guanyin, there is a big mountain called "pothos", which resembles a Maitreya Buddha, and the Buddhists often say that "the mountain is a Buddha, and the Buddha is a mountain" is about this meaning.

Guanyin is extremely sacred in the minds of Dali people, so there are many legends and stories about Guanyin here, all of which are about how Guanyin helps people defeat evil and defeat the enemy, so it has also become the spiritual sustenance of the people here, and has been admired and praised by the people of all generations.

Walk out of Fuxing Square, cross a miniature arch bridge, and walk into the main building complex of the island in the sound of small bridges and flowing water, to peruse the Nanzhao Palace.
