Chapter 52: The Heir of Slytherin

Aven, Harry, and Hermione hurried into the castle, not even bothering the Cloak of Invisibility, and just as they reached the entrance to the common room, the portrait of the Fat Woman, they suddenly saw Snape come out of the shadows in the corner.

"What a pleasant encounter!" Snape looked at them with a sneer, "Potter, Granger, Mason, I thought it was bad enough to run around the castle using Polyjuice Potion as Slytherin students, but I didn't expect you to have the habit of wandering around in the middle of the night. ”

"Professor, we have an urgent matter and must go back to the common room. Hermione said hurriedly.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk!" Snee smirked smugly, "I'm afraid you won't be able to go back, Gryffindor deducts one hundred and fifty points, let me think about it"

"You don't understand, Professor, it's Voldemort, he's opened the Chamber of Secrets, we have to stop him, there's a journal there," Hermione continued reluctantly.

"Shut up, Miss Jack-of-all-trades!" Snape stared at the three of them for a long time before he said slowly, "This is Hogwarts, that person can't be here, come with me, I want to see what Dumbledore does with you!"

Harry looked at Snape dejectedly, not knowing what to do, no matter what he said, he wouldn't believe it, and the other party was eager to find an excuse to punish him.

There was a very heavy worry in his already chaotic heart, and just as he was deciding to say something, he suddenly heard the voice again.

"This time I'm going to kill someone, let me tear me apart"

"That voice came up again, it was the basilisk, and it was moving in the direction of the common room!" Harry's heart sank, and if the basilisk was allowed to enter the Gryffindor common room, the consequences would be unimaginable.

Think about it, a group of unsuspecting students, facing a terrifying monster that can kill people with their eyes, and I don't know how many people will die inside.

"Aven, Hermione, it's in, we have to warn everyone!" Harry ignored Snape, who was standing in front of him, and shouted the order to open the entrance and climb in.

Evan and Hermione were stunned for a moment, and hurriedly followed.

The common room was exactly the same as when they left, the fire gradually extinguished.

Through the dim light, Evan saw that the journal he had placed on the couch was gone, and that it must have been taken by the student who had been controlled by Tom Riddle.

But who would it be, Ginny or

Then he noticed a line of dark silver writing glittering on the wall directly above the fireplace: Tremble, Mudbloods! Hogwarts will be purified, and the Heir of Slytherin will fulfill his great mission!

Aven's pupils contracted suddenly, Hogwarts would be purified, the heir of Slytherin would complete his mission, what did Tom Riddle want to do?!

A vague figure came out of the shadows in the corner, it was Ron!!

Ron looked strange, elegant and calm, with a bit of oppression, completely different from his usual momentum, covered in the same paint as the paint on the wall.

"Ron, thank goodness you're here, the basilisk is coming, we must" Harry shouted anxiously.

"I know, I summoned it. A strange smile hung over Ron's lips.

"Y-What are you talking about?!" Harry and Hermione looked at him in surprise.

"I mean, the attacks that happened inside the school, I did everything. The smile on Ron's lips became more obvious, "Harry Potter, I've wanted to meet you for a long time, and among all the people at Hogwarts, you are the person I want to see the most!"

"Ron, I don't understand what you're saying?" Harry stepped forward.

"Don't go over, Harry, he's not Ron, he's Tom Riddle!" Evan shouted hurriedly.

"Evan Mason!" The smile on Ron's lips grew cold, "You damned, abominable Mudblood, I expected you to be a nuisance, but I didn't expect you to dare to play tricks on the great Slytherin heir, I will make you pay, you will regret it"

"That's enough, what the hell are you four up to?!" Snape interrupted Ron, and walked into the common room with a gloomy face.

He had just stood outside and heard their conversation, and Snape frowned, not understanding what the four were crazy about.

The heir of Slytherin is actually a Gryffindor student, or an empty-headed Ron Weasley, which seems to him to be the biggest joke, and it must be a prank by Aven, Harry, Ron, and Hermione.

Snape drew his wand, and he prepared to use a stun charm to calm the guys.

But before he could recite the incantation, he heard a loud noise coming from inside the Gryffindor common room, enough to wake up most of the castle.

"Don't you Gryffindor idiots know what time it is, or do you all want to get out of Hogwarts!" Snape yelled.

But he immediately stopped, and there was a booming sound in the bathroom not far away. It was as if some behemoth had fallen from the sky onto the stone floor, and the entire Gryffindor tower was shaken, which was clearly not a sound that the students could make.

Snape hurriedly turned to look at the bathroom, his wand pointing cautiously forward.

The corners of Ron's mouth returned to that strange smile, and the others stared at the bathroom door with horrified expressions.

There was a constant eerie noise coming from inside, something was about to come out, and the atmosphere was terrifyingly tense.

Aven, Harry, and Hermione hurriedly drew their wands, and Snape took a step forward with a solemn face, his whole body tense, and the tip of his wand glowed faintly.

With a bang, the bathroom door flew upside down, and sawdust flew everywhere.

In the dust, Aven saw an ugly giant snake slip out of the bathroom, its whole body green and glowing with the brilliant light peculiar to a viper, its body as thick as the trunk of an oak tree, and its upper half of it was high in the air.

"It's a basilisk, don't look it in the eye!" Evan shouted, pointing his wand at the basilisk and chanting a spell.

Snape was even faster than him, and just as the basilisk was just bursting out of the bathroom, the faint fluorescence on the tip of his wand suddenly intensified, sending out three dark silver rays in succession, like sharp arrows off the string, striking the basilisk with unmistakable accuracy, leaving three bloody scars on its green scales.

As if it hadn't expected to be attacked as soon as it crawled out, the basilisk's huge, flat head shook as if it were drunk, and the intense pain in its body angered it. It hissed wildly, condescendingly, staring at two large yellow eyes the size of a light bulb for anyone who dared to attack it.

Then, it saw an orange-red light fly towards its eyes.

Aven's eye spell struck it, and the basilisk closed its eyes in agony.
