Chapter 72: Back to School

At the Leaky Cauldron Bar, everyone waved goodbye and agreed to meet on the platform on September 1. Mr. Weasley looked eager to ask Mr. Granger something, but was pulled back by Mrs. Weasley.

The Weasleys and Harry go home through the fireplace, while Ryan rides home with the Grangers. On the way back, there was silence in the car. When the car stopped at Hermione's door, Ryan took his things out of the trunk and said goodbye to the Granger couple and was about to walk home, when Hermione caught up with the first two steps and stopped Ryan.

After seeing Mr. Granger helping Mrs. Granger into the house, Hermione whispered to Ryan:

"When you go back to school, can you teach me how to fight with magic? I see you've been learning this all holidays.

"Why? I remember you were a little bit reluctant to fight, and told me the other day that now was not the time to learn to fight. Ryan said in surprise when he heard Hermione's request.

"Because in the bookstore today, when Mr. Weasley and Malfoy were fighting, you were the only one who thought of pulling my parents to safety. I realized that there weren't many good people like Mr. Weasley, and most of them still had some prejudice against people who couldn't magic, or rather ignored them.

Not to mention that both the Malfoy family and the Weasley family have a lot of power in the wizarding world. Therefore, the general conflict between them will not expand, and there will be no major harm. Muggle-born people like us may have to rely on our own strength to avoid harm, at least I don't think Malfoy would have any scruples about casting a curse on us.

So you're right, we need to protect ourselves, our loved ones, our friends. I'm sure you've learned something about combat during the summer, would you like to share that with me?"

"No problem. Ryan promised, "I can share this knowledge with you when I get back to school." ”

After saying goodbye to Hermione, Ryan dragged his crate back as he pondered Hermione's last words.

"Sure enough, Hermione is a smart guy!" Ryan thought. If I hadn't seen a lot of analyses in my previous life, and my mental age was in my 30s, I wouldn't have thought of this direction at all.

At least in the British wizarding world as a whole, Muggles and wizards are not considered equal. For example, Hagrid broke the law by allowing Dudley to grow a pig's tail on his ass but was never punished for it, and wizards with a sense of equality, such as Mr. Weasley. But he is regarded as an anomaly in the wizarding world. Therefore, if a Muggle-born wizard wants to live a normal life in the wizarding world, then he must put more effort into improving his strength, and Hermione can only think of this at this age, it can only be said that she is talented.

Upon returning home, Ryan pulled out the journal that was used as Voldemort's Horcrux artifact, and the life magic could clearly sense an evil and twisted life inside.

Ryan thought for a moment, then took the diary in an iron box and threw it into the Wanjie grocery store. In this way, without touching people, it should be possible to ensure that this book is brought to school safely.

Originally, Ryan also planned to use his newly learned life magic to try to destroy this book, but when he found out that this thing was far more dangerous than he imagined, he could only choose to admit it. Here he had to admire Voldemort's genius, being able to make such a dangerous object in his student years through self-study, which can only be described as powerful.

Ryan also found the distance between himself and the final boss behind the scenes, and it seems that he still can't be complacent, and still needs to get more power through the Wanjie Grocery Store.

The rest of the holiday was peaceful, and his father, Mr. Lambert, had been in retreat, declaring that he was going to write a great novel. Hermione, on the other hand, expressed her appreciation for Lockhart's abilities in several meetings, and thought that she could ask the professor some questions about Defence Against the Dark Arts after school.

This time, though, Hermione didn't have the same crush on Lockhart as she did in the original books. Because when she and Ryan share the contents of Lockhart's novel, Ryan tells her that their adventures last year were no worse than Lockhart's, and that at least the three-headed dog was more dangerous than vampires in terms of classification. And the mystery man is even more so.

So Lockhart can be respected as an adventurous senior, but worship is completely unnecessary. To think about which honor of a teacher at Hogwarts was duller than Lockhart's, except that Lockhart made his experience public. (Lockhart can't be said to be a liar without a real hammer, or it would have provoked Hermione's rebellion.) )

Hermione thought for a moment and admitted that she was a little influenced by the novel. In addition, Lockhart is really attractive, so I am a little fascinated by Lockhart. Now that I've figured it out, I just think of Lockhart as a very powerful professor.

Time flies, and in a blink of an eye, it is September 1st. Mr. Lambert finally ended his retreat and got out of his house and drove Ryan to King's Cross Station.

Along the way, Mr. Lambert is in a state of euphoria, gushing to Lane about the setting of his new novel. As a result, due to being too excited, he failed to stop the car in time when passing a traffic light, and unfortunately collided with the car in front.

Although it was a small collision and no one was injured, it still took a lot of time to deal with it. When the father and son hurried to the station with a luggage cart, they happened to run into Harry and the Weasleys, who were also late.

After saying hello, the Weasleys began to pass through the wall one by one, while Ryan said goodbye to his father. Watching Mr. Lambert walk out the door, Ryan heard a thud behind him before he could turn around.

Turning around, Ryan saw Harry and Ron lying on the ground, and the two luggage carts had flipped over, and the luggage was scattered on the ground.

There was a circle of people pointing at the two of them, and Ryan took the opportunity to squeeze into the crowd and walk up to them: "What's going on? Why are you making such a mess?" ”

"I don't know what's going on, but the passage seems to be blocked. Harry clutched his ribs and said to Ryan.

Ryan walked over to the wall and reached out to touch it, and sure enough, the wall was blocked. This is supposed to be the masterpiece of Dobby, the house-elf.

As the clock in the station approached the departure time, Harry tried to push the trolley against the wall again, but the wall did not move.

It seems that thanks to Dobby's help, Harry has been successfully trapped at the train station and unable to travel to Hogwarts. Similarly, Ryan and Ron are trapped here as collateral damage.

Ryan has to say that Dobby's way of saving the house-elf is really unacceptable, but this is good news for Ryan, because it shows that the opportunity to earn offset points has come. Thinking of this, Ryan suddenly felt a lot happier.
