Chapter 274: Dragon
As Ryan followed the sound to the clearing at the edge of the Forbidden Forest, he saw Wolf howling with his head raised from a huge tree stump. After seeing Ryan, he jumped down from the stump and asked eagerly, "What do you think of my posture just now, does it give people the feeling of a revenator?"
Ryan"βthere are indeed wolf kings like the ones I've seen on TV howling in the night. He didn't tell Wolf that the teasing look alone ruined all the atmosphere.
"Yes, I'm the most handsome wolf in the Forbidden Forest. "It seems that after reading a lot more books, Wolf now speaks more like a human. "By the way, don't talk about that. I'm calling you here this time because someone from the Centaur tribe has noticed that there are suddenly a lot of people on that side of the Forbidden Forest, and they have started to build something like a fence out of thick planks, so I'm here to tell you. Because people think that's probably what you're going to have to face in the future. β
"How did you guess it was for the game?" Ryan asked, curiously.
"Historically, whenever the Triwizard Tournament was held at Hogwarts, the monsters needed for the monster fighting project would always be placed in a clearing on the edge of the Forbidden Forest two or three days before the game. According to the records of the centaur tribe, the dragon was the most placed there in history, followed by various monsters such as hydra and chimera. β
After saying that, Wolf took out a cloth bag from the side of the stump and handed it to Ryan, and said, "This is for you to be given to you by Aunt Betty, and you will wear this and walk with me through the Forbidden Forest in a moment." β
Ryan shook off the cloth bag, and found that it was a robe that resembled a gilly suit, which could cover the whole person inside. And the faint natural smell on it can maintain the highest concealment in the forest.
After putting on this robe, Ryan took out a grappling hook from the space bag around his waist and put it on his arm. Then use the grappling hook to move quickly through the trees, and follow the galloping Wolf to the Forbidden Forest.
As he approached the edge of the other side of the Forbidden Forest, Ryan heard a faint noise from outside the forest. So he and Wolf slowed down, and slowly moved towards the edge of the woods under the cover of the trees.
Sure enough, in the clearing outside the Forbidden Forest, a group of wizards were busy building a giant fence. The sorcerers broke down the sorcerers into thick planks and smashed them into the ground, and then several sorcerers went up to the planks to attach various spells. The story of chanting spells didn't use the technique of silent spells, so Ryan knew they were attaching reinforcement and fire spells to them.
"The biggest guy can lift his neck 50 feet high, and the flames can spew out 40 feet away. So you have to add a few more spells when crafting the fence. A young man's voice came through.
Ryan turned his gaze to the man who spoke, and it turned out to be Charlie Weasley, the dragon breeder he had met over the summer. Sure enough, the plot hasn't changed much, and the first project is still related to dragons. Because Ryan was hiding in the woods, the men didn't notice anyone peeping. Everyone is methodically cleaning up the site and making fences.
Ryan was bored after looking at the fence under construction for a while, and was about to leave when he suddenly noticed some black spots approaching in the distance. When the black dots approached the clearing, they realized that the black dots were huge cages made of steel, each containing a sleeping dragon. On the four corners and in the middle of the cage are attached chains, and at the other end of each chain is a flying carpet floating in the air.
On the carpet sat wizards, all nervously pointing their wands at the sleeping dragon.
"Down, be careful. Don't wake them up. Charlie made various colors of light on his wand at this time, directing the flying carpets to slowly descend with iron cages.
After making sure that the opponent in the first game was the Dragon, Ryan called Wolf and left.
Saying goodbye to Wolf on the edge of the Forbidden Forest, Ryan made his way to the library. As soon as I entered the door, I saw Krum reading a book on a table next to the door, and there were several girls standing on the edge of the nearby bookshelf who were chattering and asking Krum for an autograph. Soon, however, the girls were chased away by Mrs. Pince.
When Ryan found Hermione, Hermione was rummaging through a pile of books for something. When he saw Ryan approaching, he asked, "What is Wolf looking for you to do at this time?"
"He took me to see what I was going to deal with in the first game. Ryan looked left and right and whispered to Hermione when he saw no one. "We guessed right, the first game was against the dragon. I saw them bring six dragons. β
"How's your preparation?" asked Hermione.
"No problem. Ryan gave a confident smile. "I prepared for the dragon slay, but now that I think about it, it shouldn't be that difficult, and after watching those dragons today, I think it's likely that the content of the game is just to take something under the dragon's guard or hold on enough time under the dragon's pursuit. After all, I don't think all the contestants are better than me, and this year they all said that if safety comes first, it is impossible to make such a dangerous project. β
"That's good. Hermione closed the book in front of her and looked up at Ryan. "By the way, should we tell Harry about this? after all, he's our classmate. β
"I should have told him that this is just a game, and I can't just watch my classmates go straight to the court and be embarrassed. Ryan nodded, worried that his butterfly effect might affect something, and that it wasn't what he wanted to do if someone was hurt because of it. "There's been a lot of people paying attention to me at school lately, and I'm going to tell Harry directly that it's not a good fit. You can tell Ginny about it in a moment. β
When it was time for dinner, Hermione ran to Ginny and whispered a few words. Ginny's face changed dramatically after hearing this, and she hurried off the table without a few bites, it seemed that Hermione had already told her the news that she was going to face the dragon in the first game, and she was now hurrying upstairs to inform Harry.
The next day was Sunday, and Ryan was about to go to the Room of Requirement with Hermione for the final practice after breakfast. Harry suddenly appeared in the foyer.
"Thank you, Ryan! Hagrid took me to see the dragons last night. Oh my God, now I only have two days to prepare for the dragon. What should I do?" Harry's voice changed a little at the end, probably because Lan Lan had helped him make up for half a semester last semester. So at this time, he subconsciously expressed his inner uneasiness.
It seems that the recent series of events has put too much pressure on Harry. Ryan shook his head slightly, then put his hand on his shoulder and said, "You can ask Sirius, maybe he has a good solution to the problem in front of you." β
"Yes, I'll write now. Harry jerked his head up, feeling like he was alive again. He was about to leave and turned back to Ryan and asked, "Ryan, are you ready?"
"Naturally, it's no problem, but it's a pity that my method is related to alchemy, even if you tell you my method, you can't use it. With that, Ryan waved his hand and hurried away, preparing to go back to the dormitory to write goodbye to Harry Sirius.
