"Girls' Generation" is a 10-girl group launched in 2006 by South Korea's YG Entertainment Co., Ltd. and B** Company. The members consist of 9 female high school students aged 10 generations.

They include Kim Tae-yeon, Jung so-yeon, Lee Soon-gyu, Hwang Mi-young, Kim Hyo-yeon, Kwon Yu-ri, Choi so-young, Lim Yoon-a, Han Si-woo, and Seo Joo-hyun.

On August 19, 2006, they made their official debut with BIGBANG at YGFAMILY's 10th anniversary concert.

However, due to publicity reasons, the official debut time was on September 5, 2006.

Since its debut, the team has been divided into two teams in order to earn more. Singles are usually released in teams of five. When the album is released, it will become one.

The two sub-groups are called separately.
