Chapter 32: Hagrid's Letter

Although there are some "flaws", Hogwarts is still perfect in Bruce's opinion, and at least those lessons make him nostalgic. It hadn't been long since school started, though, so Bruce hadn't had his lessons all back and forth.

On the first Wednesday night of school, they had a stargazing class, using the kind of telescopes older than Dumbledore to observe the starry sky, learning the names of the different stars and the orbits of the planets.

Probably the most frequent of them was herbalism, for three times a week they were taken by a stocky witch named Sprout to the greenhouse at the back of the castle to study herbology, learn how to cultivate these strange plants and fungi, and learn what they were used for.

Needless to say, Transfiguration is worth mentioning, and it's worth mentioning the history of magic. If there are a hundred people coming out of Hogwarts, it is guaranteed that the number of people who hate the history of magic is definitely 100%. It is also the only class taught by a ghost.

I think that Professor Binns fell asleep in front of the fireplace in the faculty lounge, and forgot to bring his body to class the next morning, which shows that Professor Binns is indeed very old. During the lesson, Professor Binns kept speaking in a monotonous voice, while the students scribbled down names and dates, confusing the wicked Merrick with the weirdo Eurek.

But now there are two more "excepts", Bruce and Hermione.

He's keen interest is completely out of her bt enthusiasm for learning, and she can't even wait to go to all the classes seven or eight times. Bruce, on the other hand, was simply fond of history, "before" he was very interested in history, but now he is studying the history of magic, which is even more magical than Muggle history. Although Professor Binns's lectures were boring, it did not affect the nature of Bruce, and he read books by himself when Professor Binns was "confused".

Harry and Ron were so puzzled that they couldn't even go on a history of magic with a pillow, wondering how Bruce could listen to it with such relish. Of course, there is another course that Bruce has been looking forward to for a long time - flying lessons. He really wanted to experience what it was like to fly, and for that reason Bruce counted the days every day.

In addition to the flying lesson, there is another course that Bruce has been looking forward to for a long time, and it should be said that he is "interested" in the teacher who teaches this class, which is the class they are going to take now - Potions.

The famous Professor Severus Snape, the head of Slytherin, was a villain who looked like a pure treacherous villain in appearance and deeds, but was in fact the most infatuated and principled of great men.

Although Bruce had only read a few novels and one movie in his previous life, he was familiar with Snape's name, and it can be said that the most pitiful, admirable and beloved character in the entire Harry Potter series is not the protagonist of the immortal savior, nor the increasingly beautiful Hermione, but the cold-looking and handsome Professor Snape.

A man who fell into darkness because of his lover and gave everything because of his lover, he may not be a simple good person, but anyone who has watched Harry Potter and even knows a little about this series will have sincere admiration for this man.

Straight to the point!

Friday, the special day of the day, was the last lesson of Bruce's first week at Hogwarts, and the first time they had made it to the dining hall without a detour.

"Wellโ€”" Bruce took a bite of oats and pushed away with a look of disgust.

Ron glanced curiously and asked Harry, "Harry!" What's wrong with this guy Bruce? Since the day before yesterday, I have had this expression every time I eat! โ€

Harry smiled and said, "Ron, Bruce doesn't like to eat steak bread and milk all the time, he loves oriental food!" โ€

Indeed, this is something that Bruce has not been able to adapt to from the beginning to the present. Although "before" he was not a rich man and was not a picky eater at all. But in the face of Western food, blues really doesn't like it very much, once or twice I think it's good, but after a long time, he really can't bear the torture caused by bread and milk.

He used to be able to borrow the kitchen to cook some Chinese food at the Leaky Cauldron, but when he arrived at Hogwarts, he had to face it.

As soon as he talked about eating Ron, he hurriedly asked, "Harry, have you also eaten Oriental food?" โ€

Bruce heard Ron's words and asked, "Huh?" Ron, haven't you been to the Cauldron Bar? โ€

"Of course I've been, I've heard that the butterbeer there is very good!" Ron said.

"Haha!" Bruce shook his head and said smugly, "Man, that's in the past tense!" You must know that the most famous thing in the Leaky Cauldron Bar is Stirling Chinese food! โ€

Tom Sr. decided to sell Chinese food at the Leaky Cauldron after tasting the scrambled eggs with tomatoes made by Bruce once. To the surprise of both of them, this idea turned out to be surprisingly useful, especially the "Cover Topping Series" was in short supply, so Bruce also made a bad "benefit".

Ron swallowed a mouthful of saliva when he heard this, and said yearningly: "I must try it if I have the chance!" โ€

"Haha!" Bruce said like a black sh boss: "My name will not be free when the time comes, but at least 5% off!" โ€

"Really!?"

"Yes, 5% off is less!"

Bruce never imagined that because of his "cowhide", he would owe a debt in the Leaky Cauldron in the future.

After Harry ate a piece of toast, he asked, "By the way, what class are we having today?" โ€

Bruce said, "With Slytherin, Potions class!" Ask for more blessings! โ€

"Alas! Oh, yes! Ron said helplessly: "Snape is the head of the Slytherin head, and they all say that he is biased towards his students, now we can see if this is the case." โ€

Harry smiled wryly and said, "I wish Professor McGonagall could be biased towards us, yesterday's homework almost didn't exhaust me to death!" โ€

Ron nodded in agreement, and Bruce looked at the two of them with a smile and said, "No! You two will also get tired of copying homework? โ€

Harry and Ron's homework was not too good, especially Ron could basically join the ranks of the countdown, fortunately, there was Bruce, a top student, who selflessly dedicated his homework, for which Hermione did not fall out of him, and even on the premise that she and Ron almost quarreled about it.

Just then, the mail arrived. More than a dozen owls flew to the restaurant in search of their owners. The three of them have become accustomed to this. Harry didn't receive any mail despite having Hedwig, and no one expected the Dursleys to send him anything.

Normally it would come to the restaurant to order food and fly back to the owl house, but today Hedwig brought a note.

Harry saw that someone had written a letter to him and hurriedly took it down, and then said to the two of them, "Look, it's Hagrid's letter...... Oooh! Hagrid's words are really sloppy! โ€

"Dear Harry and Bruce: I know you don't have classes on Friday afternoon, so I wonder if you can come and have tea with me around 3 o'clock in the afternoon? I'd love to know how your first week went. Please let Hedwig hear back to me. Also, don't forget to remind Bruce to bring Jack! โ€

Harry laughed, "Great, there's an event this afternoon!" โ€

Ron looked at the two of them enviously and asked, "Can I be together?" โ€

Bruce said, "Nonsense, of course! You think I'm going to leave you behind! โ€

Harry also said, "Bruce is right! โ€

Ron was happy to hear this, but before he could be happy for a few seconds, a voice came to make him feel very unhappy.

"What are you going to do in the afternoon?" Hermione's voice came.

Seeing Hermione Bruce laugh, "Morning! Hermione, haven't you had breakfast yet! Come on, together! โ€

Hermione didn't refuse to be there for Bruce, Harry said hello, and Ron glanced at her as she continued eating.

"Where did you say you were going?" Hermione asked, eating a piece of toast.

Bruce said, "In the afternoon, Hagrid is going to invite us to be guests!" Do you want to be together? โ€

"Bruce, you ......" Ron hurried to stop Hermione as soon as he heard Bruce ask for it.

"That's great!" Hermione happily agreed, then took a glass of milk, picked up her textbook, and stood up to leave.

Harry asked curiously, "It doesn't seem like it's time for class yet!" โ€

Hermione replied confidently, "If I were you, I would have reviewed the textbook before Potions class started, and Professor Snape didn't like Gryffindor very much!" โ€

After saying that, he shook his hair and left.

"Oh! O Merlin! Bruce, why did you invite her to go? Ron asked, a little frantically.

Bruce calmly drank a glass of juice and said, "Please, this is out of courtesy!" โ€

Ron wanted to say something, but Harry said in advance, "Alright, Ron! You can't say Bruce, and I think Hermione's advice is good. โ€

"You can spare me!" Ron looked helplessly at the "Magic Potions and Potions" in front of him, and said with a sad face: "I only want to be an A in the final exam, and I am satisfied!" โ€

Harry laughed, "In that case, I'd suggest you take your Transfiguration homework!" โ€

Harry waved his homework and said, "I think I can use Potions class to make up for it, at least on the weekends!" โ€

Hearing this, Ron hurriedly said, "No, no, no! It's never a good idea! โ€

Bruce nodded and said, "Ron is right, I still advise you to give up this stupid idea!" โ€

Ron also added, "Neither Fred nor George dared to mess with Potions class!" โ€

"The most threatening place is the safest!" Harry laughed, "Bruce, that's what you told me!" โ€

Bruce shrugged his shoulders and picked up the textbook and said, "Okay! Don't blame us for not reminding you! Let's go! โ€

For Gryffindor students, if there's anything more painful than not being able to doze off in a history of magic class, it's taking Snape's Potions class, and even more painful than taking Potions classes with Slytherin.
