Chapter 6: An Invitation from Luna

The next morning, in the warm sea breeze, I walked out of the inn to visit the chief of the guard in Auberdine. Pen @ fun @ pavilion wWw. biqUgE怂 ļ½‰ļ½Žļ½†ļ½

Auberdeen is the only warm port on the cold Black Coast. This is the most important port for the Night Elves, and it is also the only port where you can contact the Feathermoon Fortress, but it is not prosperous because of the important location. Presumably because it was once a relic of a lost civilization, most of the Night Elves didn't want to live here.

Auberdine's Guard Hall, near the port, is also built in the typical Night Elf style, with angular cross eaves that seem to fly over the stone wall of the beach, a huge star and moon wood carving inlaid on the lintel, glittering, and the roof painted sky blue or deep purple, which looks ancient and mysterious.

I went to the door of the guarded hall and handed me a letter written by my teacher, and the female Night Elf guards standing at the door ushered me into the hall.

As soon as I stepped through the door of the hall, I saw a tall Night Elf uncle standing directly across the hall.

The man, dressed in light armor, was standing in the middle of the hall, talking to two of his men.

I looked at the long, purple-haired Night Elf uncle, who had a thick beard and rough features, and looked like a very serious man.

Beside him, on the left and on the right, stood two other Night Elves.

Standing on the left was a girl with a quiet smile, her black hair tied into a bunch of braids, hanging casually over her shoulders.

She wore a red and white Auberdine guard uniform with a beautiful sword pinned to her waist.

On the right, a Night Elf male with long blond hair, wearing a pair of gold-rimmed glasses, a dark blue robe, and a book in his hand, looks very Sven.

The guards went over to deliver the message, and I stood at a distance and waited.

"You're the Grand Druid Van Linkoff. Angry Paw's student? He asked, reading the letter handed by the guard.

I guessed that he was the chief of the guard here, so I bowed politely and said, "Yes, sir, hello, my name is Nitya. ā€

"I'm the head of the guard here, Shuma. Night Wind, these two are my men. "Shuma. Nightwind introduced.

Xiuma. Nightwind, the town guard chief of Auberdine, listened to my account and asked incredulously, "To the sea?" How far are you going......"

After saying that, he walked back and forth in the hall many times, looking down as if thinking about something.

After a while, he looked at me very embarrassed: "You must know that for so many years, there has only been one time when someone has gone to sea." Or rather, forced to go to sea. ā€

"Forced ......?" I was a little puzzled, and suddenly something flashed through my mind: "Could it be ......!" ā€

Perhaps seeing my doubts, the blond-haired man spoke: "Yes, according to the records, there has only been one time when I have deviated from course for so many years...... The ...... after the War of the Ancients"

"It's really an exile of the superior elves!" I secretly exclaimed in my heart.

"The High Elves who are obsessed with magic, the minions of Azhara were exiled and left in a boat, but ......"

The blonde man lifted his glasses and continued, "Does your teacher suspect that they have gone to a new continent?" ā€

I nodded without thinking.

"This ...... After the explosion of the Well of Eternity, the land was torn apart, and perhaps, there really was such a continent...... "Shuma. Nightwind said to himself, "The exiles also insist that there exist, so they take specially processed ships and fantasize about being able to travel to their ideal magical home......"

"But......" he paused, then looked at me again, "but as you can see, they are as if they had sunk to the bottom of the sea, and no one knows where they have gone. ā€

"I can't risk this for you." He finally said as if he had made up his mind.

I still want to say something, but Shuma. Nightwind frowned and waved his hand, signaling that it was time for me to leave.

Although I had expected this mission to be difficult, I clenched my fists.

Was it rejected as such? Even a teacher's letter is useless?

Some irritability.

As the captain of the guard said, I could not go to sea alone without a ship strong enough, without enough food.

I have to think of another way.

"Okay, I got it." With that, I was about to turn around and leave the hall.

But at this moment, the black-haired girl next to her, who had been quiet, spoke: "Sir, I am willing to go to sea with her." ā€

Xiuma. Nightwind's eyes widened, and he looked at her, pausing for a long time before he slowly spoke, "Luna, you're going with her?" But why? He asked, a little puzzled.

I also stopped a little unexpectedly and looked at the dark-haired girl in front of me.

"No, I also want to see the continent except Kalimdor," she smiled sweetly, "It's interesting...... Isn't it? ā€

"It's not fun at all! It's dangerous...... Luna. The blond-haired man with glasses couldn't help but speak, and whispered a persuasion.

But the girl named Luna took a step forward, stretched out her right hand, took my hand, and said very firmly, "I would like to go to sea with you." ā€

I watched her hold my hand and was taken aback, not knowing what to say.

I just thought that it was Xiuma. After the night breeze refused, the ship must have been out of play, and I didn't expect that things would take a turn for the better.

But the three people I met in the garrison hall all looked like NPCs, why would this night elf named Luna be willing to help me?

And listening to this speech doesn't look like an NPC, is it a player?!

I reminisced about it in my head, but I couldn't remember that there was a player named Luna in the guild.

Hesitating to accept her help, the blonde man stood in front of us.

Luna...... You are two girls, and you don't know how to sail, so it's nonsense to go to sea so recklessly! By the end, he became more and more emotional.

Luna smiled confidently and said, "You want to know if there is such a land, don't you?" ā€

The blonde man didn't answer, just lowered the arm he had just waved.

"You also want to know if there are creatures other than us, don't you?" Luna approached him.

"Like me, you'd love to go out to sea, wouldn't you?" Luna asked, growing more confident.

"Yes......" said the blonde man slowly, "I admit, I really want to...... But...... It's too dangerous......"

"That's it!" Xiuma. Night Wind waved his hand as if commanding, and said, "Let me think about this matter, don't talk about it either." ā€

With that, he walked out of the guard hall, leaving the three of us looking at each other.

Feeling that the atmosphere was a little awkward, I also made an excuse and left the hall.

After thinking about it all night, he decided not to go to Shuma for the time being. The night wind is blowing, and there should be private boats and captains on the Black Coast.

I decided to try my luck.

Perhaps, it will be possible to find a ship and a captain who is willing to go to sea.

But unfortunately, my luck has never been very good.

The next day, I ran around the port, and apart from a few fishermen fishing in the middle of nowhere, there were basically no decent boats.

I distinctly remember that the boats I used to cross the sea in the game were not ordinary fishing boats, they were very tall and sturdy, and they were equipped with a lot of sailors.

There are still unknown dangers to endure long voyages......

"None of these ships will work......" I said to myself.

Just as I was about to go back to the inn to think of something else, I turned around and saw Luna standing alone on the shore in the distance, as if thinking about something.

"Why is she here?" I was hesitating whether I should go up and say hello to her when Luna saw me and immediately lifted her skirt and walked over with a smile.

"What are you doing here?" Luna asked with a smile

I replied with some embarrassment: "Just look at ......"

Luna looked around, seemed to understand something, and asked, "Are you looking for a boat to go to sea?" ā€

I remembered what Luna had said in the guard hall and nodded honestly.

Luna smiled and asked, "Would you like to go to my house and sit down?" ā€

Although I was a little intimidated by such a sudden invitation, Luna's sweet smile made it hard for me to refuse such an offer.
