Chapter 292: The Way of the Five Elements
Gold - dry, exchange: dry for the sky, exchange for Ze;
Fire - Leave: Leave is fire;
Wood - earthquake, Xun: earthquake is thunder, Xun is wind;
Water - Kan: Kan is water;
Soil - Gen, Kun: Gen is the mountain, Kun is the earth.
According to the correspondence between the five elements and the earthly branches
Earthly Triad:
Zi (rat), Chen (dragon), Shen (monkey) Heshui Bureau; 巳 (snake), you (chicken), ugly (cow) alloy bureau;
Yin (tiger), Wu (horse), 戌 (dog) fire bureau; Hai (pig), Mao (rabbit), not (sheep) Hemu Bureau.
Earthly branch hexagram:
The son (rat) and the ugly (ox) are combined into the soil, and the Yin (tiger) and the sea (pig) are combined into water,
Mao (rabbit) and 戌 (dog) are combined to turn into fire, Chen (dragon) and unitary (chicken) are combined to turn into gold,
Si (snake) and Shen (monkey) are combined into water, and Wu (horse) and Wei (sheep) are combined into the sun and moon.
The relationship between the earthly branch and the five elements and directions:
Zi (rat) belongs to Yang Shui, northern; Hai (pig) belongs to the yin water, the north.
Yin (tiger) belongs to Yangmu, Eastern; Mao (rabbit) belongs to the Yin wood, the East.
巳 (snake) belongs to the yin fire, south; Noon (horse) belongs to the yang fire, south.
Shen (monkey) belongs to Yangjin, Western; Unitary (chicken) belongs to Yin Jin, Western.
Chen (dragon) and 戌 (dog) belong to the yang soil, the Chinese side;
Chou (cow) and Wei (sheep) belong to the yin soil, the Chinese side.
In terms of the Five Elements of Astronomy
The five elements were called the five latitudes in ancient times, and they are the five planets in the sky, the wood is called the year star, the fire is called the glowing star, the earth is called the town star, the gold is called the Taibai star, and the water is called the Chen star. The five elements run, with 28 dormitories as the division, because its track is not far from the Japanese road, the ancients used it to record the day. The five stars generally appear in the Arctic sky in the order of wood, fire, earth, gold and water, each star runs for 72 days, and the five stars are 360 degrees in conjunction with the week. The river map drawn according to the celestial phenomena infested by the five stars is also the source of the five elements. Because Mercury is seen in the north before the winter solstice in November every year, just as the winter weather is in order, everything is dormant, and there is only ice, snow and water on the ground, and this is how the concept of water travel is formed. After the summer solstice in July, Mars is seen in the south, and just as the summer weather is coming, there is a heat on the ground, and this is how the concept of fire is formed. In the spring equinox of March, Jupiter is seen in the east, just when the spring is in season, the plants and trees sprout and grow, the so-called "spring to the world of grass and trees to know", the concept of wood is formed in this way. In the autumn equinox of September, Venus is seen in the west, and in ancient times, it represented many weapons to show that the autumn killing gas was ordered, and all things grew old and withered, and the gold line became from this. Saturn is seen in the mid-heaven in May, indicating that the air of the wet earth in the long summer is in season, and the wood, fire, gold and water are all in this midpoint, and the four seasons of climate change caused by wood, fire, gold and water are all observed from the ground, and the concept of earth is formed in this way.
In the Five Elements Theory, the south belongs to fire, the east belongs to wood, the north belongs to water, the west belongs to gold, and Zhongwei belongs to earth, assisting in the balance of gold, wood, water and fire.
Spring is a wood that represents the movement of gases in all directions. In spring, flowers and trees grow luxuriantly, the branches of the trees stretch out to the surroundings, and nutrients are transported to the branches, so spring is a wood.
Summer is fire, which represents the upward movement of gases. The characteristic of fire is upward, and in summer, all kinds of plants grow upwards and grow rapidly, so summer belongs to fire.
Long summer belongs to the soil, and the long summer is a transitional period between summer and autumn, the weather is humid and hot, and the crops are ripe, so the long summer is soil.
Autumn is golden, representing the way the gas shrinks inward. Gold is characterized by stability, harvested in autumn, people save food for winter, and the leaves wither, so autumn belongs to gold.
Winter is water, which represents the downward movement of gases. The water flows to a lower place, and everything is dormant in winter, accumulating nutrients for spring, so winter is water.
The ancients believed that a year could be subdivided into five seasons, corresponding to the five elements of wood, fire, earth, metal, and water.
Five Elements Five Elements Time
The Ganzhi calendar is a calendar that marks the year, month, day and hour with 60 different sets of sexagenary branches, which is unique to China. It begins with the beginning of spring, and the older is the return year, and is divided into 12 months with 24 solar terms, and there are no leap months. The stem calendar reflects the climate change throughout the year.
Therefore, the months of the Ganzhi calendar are according to the five elements:
Yin, Mao, and Chenyue belong to wood, which dominates spring and represents the east;
Si, noon, and the moon belong to fire, which dominates the summer and represents the south;
Shen, You, and Xuyue belong to gold, dominate the autumn, and represent the West;
Hai, Zi, and Chou Moon belong to water, dominate winter, and represent the north;
Chen, Wei, Xu, and Chou are all earth, and they are all earth, which is the soil of the four directions, and dominates the last month of the four seasons.
"What do you mean by saying so much?" An Xiangfei interrupted impatiently.
"Don't worry, listen to me slowly," Makushu continued.
They are mutually reinforcing
The nature of heaven and earth, many are better than few, so water is better than fire. Essence is better than strong, so fire is better than gold. Rigid and soft, so gold wins wood. Specializing in the dispersion, so the wood is better than the soil. The real is better than the virtual, and the homeland is better than the water.
Jinke wood, because the cutting tools cast in metal can be used to sawn down trees. (Grass does not grow on the land with mines)
Because the roots of the tree absorb the nutrients in the soil to replenish themselves, the tree is strong, and if the soil is not replenished, it will naturally weaken.
Tu Ke water, because soil can be waterproof. (The soldiers will block the water and cover the earth)
Water overcomes fire, because fire is extinguished when it meets water.
Fire overcomes gold, because fire melts metal.
The five elements are mutually reinforcing and mutually restrictive, and the five elements are mathematical
Water – one
Fire - II
Wood - three
Kim - IV
Soil - V
The five elements are mutually reinforcing, and the five elements are in the direction
Kim – the Lord West
Wood – the main east
Water – the Lord North
Fire – Lord South
Soil – Central
The five elements are mutually reinforcing, and the five elements are weather
Jin - dry
Wood – wind
Water – cold
Fire – Heat
Soil – wet
The five elements are mutually reinforcing, and the five elements are colorful
Gold – white
Wood – Cyan
Water – black
Fire – Red
Earth – yellow
The five elements are mutually reinforcing, and the five elements are mutually restrictive, and the five elements are in the body
Gold – skin, nostrils, lungs, large intestine.
Wood - tendons, eyes, liver, gall bladder.
Water – bones, ears, kidneys, bladder.
Fire – veins, tongue, heart, small intestine.
Soil – meat, mouth, spleen, stomach.
Wood, fire, earth, gold, water
Wood: Mu Wang gets gold, Fang Cheng is a beam.
Wood can make fire, and fire burns wood; Strong wood gets fire, and it turns into stubbornness.
Wood can overcome the soil, and the soil is more woody; When the earth is weak, it will fall.
Mulai is aquatic, and the water is woody; Water can grow wood, and wood shrinks.
Fire: Fire is full of water, and the party becomes a mutual benefit.
Fire can give birth to earth, and soil is obscure; Strong fire to get the earth, to stop its flames.
Fire can overcome gold, and gold is extinguished; When gold is weak and meets fire, it will be melted.
The fire is born in the wood, and the wood is more fiery; Wood can make fire, and fire burns wood
Soil: The soil is strong and the wood can be dredged.
Soil can produce gold, and gold changes more soil; Strong soil to get gold, the party to control it.
Soil can overcome water, and water is more soil flow; When the water is weak and the soil is weak, it will be silted.
The earth is born by fire, and the fire is scorched; Fire can give birth to earth, and earth is more fiery and obscure." With a sigh of relief, Makushu continued.
"Jin: Jin Wang has fire, and Fang becomes a vessel.
Gold can produce water, and water is more gold and sinks; Strong gold and water, frustration of its edge.
Jin can overcome wood, and wood is more gold; If the wood is weak and gold, it will be cut and broken.
Jin Lai was born in the soil, and the soil was buried in gold; Soil can produce gold, and gold changes more soil
Water: The water is prosperous and the soil is abundant, and the pond and marsh are formed.
Water can grow wood, and wood shrinks more; Strong water gets wood, and the party vents its potential.
Water can overcome fire, fire is dry with water; When the fire is weak and meets the water, it will be extinguished.
The water is golden, and the gold is turbid; Gold can produce water, and water is more gold and sink"
"So you get it?" Mu Xiu said, and turned to ask me and An Xiangfei. At this time, An Xiangfei and I can still understand that we have already been confused by this big set of things.
