"To be free is to be free. Let's talk about freedom. I think that not having to work, not having to go to work, or being unsupervised is freedom, but in fact these are not really freedom, real freedom, because these situations still have limitations. ”

"We don't have the freedom to die, we don't have the freedom to get sick, we don't have the freedom to be reincarnated......"

"By freedom in Buddhism, we mean true freedom, freedom, and autonomy, that is, the state of being free from birth, death, sickness, bardo, and samsara. This is the state of liberation beyond the cycle of birth and death, the bondage and shackles of karma and afflictions. This is true freedom, true freedom. ”

"What is the purpose of hard work in life? In fact, all people, and even the lives in which they live, pursue nothing more than happiness from suffering, that is, freedom from suffering. It doesn't matter if you're looking for money, fame, or whatever. In the final analysis, what you are seeking is freedom from suffering and happiness. ”

The question is: who has attained true freedom after a lifetime of pursuit? Who can attain the state of freedom without sickness, suffering, or death? ”

"The Buddha taught that afflictions and karma are the real causes of our suffering and samsara. Practicing the Dharma is the way for us to get rid of suffering and gain a state of liberation.

The Wheel of Life and Death is precisely the way to explain the situation, process, and causes of our ordinary people's continuous reincarnation in the six realms, and to explain the way out of this helpless situation. A pig doesn't tell the difference between good and bad, clean or dirty, it just gobbles up anything.

In normal times, pigs only know how to eat, sleep and pull manure, and nothing else. If you take a pig to the garden, it will not sit and enjoy the scenery, but will make trouble everywhere and dig up all the flowers and grass out of the mud. There are thousands of animals in the world. But in different countries, languages and cultures, it is invariably used to describe stupid people as pigs. It can be seen that it is indeed appropriate to use pigs to express stupidity.

Only then will we develop greed for things in the outside world, and then we will develop hatred when we do not get what we want, and this is the situation where greed and ignorance originate from ignorance. If we want to get rid of suffering, it's not helpful to just complain, we have to uproot the root of suffering, so we need to understand the workings of our afflictions and karma. Cheng Bei agreed.

"Between afflictions and karma. The main cause of the constant reincarnation of ordinary people is afflictions. What are afflictions? They are all kinds of elements that make our minds restless and arrogant, such as greed, hatred, stupidity, and so on. ”

"Suppose an ordinary person only has the karma he has accumulated in the past, but he does not have the ego and other disturbing emotions, it is impossible for the karma alone to cause the ordinary person to be reborn. It's like a seed without water, unable to germinate and grow. On the other hand, if you haven't done any karma in the past. But as long as you don't get rid of your troubles for a day, you will be driven by them and start farming immediately. In this way, the causes of reincarnation, rebirth, and suffering are sufficient. Fuxian stared at Cheng Bei meaningfully.

The Yama King turned the giant wheel in his hand, revealing the inner second circle. Break the silence between the two.

The second circle, which is counted outward in the center of the center of the wheel, is the symbol of the teachings on birth, death and bardo. One half of the ring is black, and the other half is white. In the black half-ring, there are three small figures, which represent the bardo body that will be thrown into the animal, the hungry ghost, and the hell path.

This half ring says that sentient beings who are driven by the three afflictions of greed, ignorance, and naivety (i.e., the appearance of pigeons, snakes, and pigs in the inner circle) to create black karma or bad karma (the background color of this half ring is black, which indicates black karma), and after death, they will invoke the fruits of black karma and be reborn in animals, hungry ghosts, and hell paths.

The heads of animals, hungry ghosts, and hellish beings are all downward, indicating that these three life forms are the lower rebirth of suffering.

In the other half of the ring, the background is white, and there are three images with their heads pointing upwards, representing the bardo body that will be born in the three life forms of the Heavenly Dao, the Asura Path, and the Human Dao. This half-ring explains that sentient beings, as a result of their white karma (expressed in the white back), will be inspired by the karma and will be reborn in the heavens, the asura realm, or the human world after death. These three life forms are less suffering than the three evil realms mentioned above, so they are called the three upper realms or the three virtuous realms.

"I'm the one in charge of the Three Senses!" Fuxian indicated the position.

"The Three Evil Paths are Guanyin in charge?" Cheng Bei asked.

"The Three Evil Paths are in charge of Manjushri." Fugen returns.

"Guanyin Bodhisattva is in charge of the supreme way!" Fuxian answers questions.

The Way of the World

Sentient beings are reborn in the three evil realms because of their bad karma, and because of their good karma, they are inspired by the retribution of being born in the three good realms. Among the three virtuous paths, the blessing of being born in the heavenly realm is the greatest, followed by the path of assuras, and the human world is again, but the human world is the most suitable place to practice the Dharma.

There are many sufferings in the world, but they can be summarized into eight sufferings.

Suffering – From the moment of conception, the life of the child feels all kinds of suffering.

Cheng Bei saw the valley road on both sides of the fork in the road, and began to flashback like a movie.

Countless sperm silently stared at the egg in front of them.

On the outer wall of the huge egg, the only sperm is in front of hundreds of millions of dying kinds, reverently knocking on the fusion of cells.

It wagged its tail. Witness the beginning of a cycle without sorrow or joy.

The ontology may not quite understand the suffering. I can't remember the pain I experienced in my mother's womb or even during my birth. During the nearly nine months in the womb, the baby suffers a lot. I can't remember the ontology though. But that doesn't mean the body didn't feel it at the time.

Cheng Bei saw the brewing baby, like a planet gradually forming in the universe, slow and long-term, but saw that the birth was completed in an instant.

Old Suffering – The ontology should not think that the pain of old age will only be felt after the age of sixty. In fact, the ontology is born from the mother's womb, and this experience can be said to begin. In the process of aging, the proprioceptive intelligence gradually declines, and the memory is also weakened. Not to mention the decline of physical strength and function.

Cheng Bei looked at the body on the picture, from no hair and no teeth, to a healthy and lively growth of dense hair, growing four tiger teeth, lively and young.

Tough and sturdy shoulders easily carry the world down.

Walking on the road of life, there are dreams and pursuits.

But in the blink of an eye.

Everything is human and wrong.

Humble flattery weighs down on the back.

The sorrow of life is deeply imprinted on the gray hair.

Wrinkled tired face.

Sigh at the passing of life.

Sickness - a person's life. Not only do you have to encounter many physical illnesses, large and small, but also various psychological and emotional problems. If you go to the hospital, you can see the suffering caused by the disease. This pain is sometimes so severe that it is unlovable.

Too much.

Under the White Terror in the hospital.

The road to the morgue is sprinkled with countless reluctances.

Death sufferingβ€”at the time of death. Not only did the body suffer great pain, but it was also forced to be separated from relatives, friends, and property, and the fear and anxiety in my heart was unimaginable!

It's just one breath.

This breath circulates in the body. No matter the delirium, no matter the incoherent speech.

is alive.

The breath stopped.

But a gray body.

The boundary between life and death is one breath.

Love parting from suffering – in a lifetime. The ontology has to go through countless lives and deaths, and often cannot be with the people he loves for a long time.

It's been a long time. It should be a beautiful day. Even though there are thousands of styles, who can say.

Resentment can be bitter – this refers to the helplessness of constantly encountering people and things that you don't like, such as being robbed, hurt, or working with people you don't like.

Others are hell!

Seeking Suffering – One of the sufferings of the world is that it can never be satisfied. Some people think that the rich and famous are the happiest, and it is not uncommon for the rich, celebrities and celebrities to commit suicide, and they often do not get real satisfaction.

When the ontological body wants to get something, the ontological body will be tormented by **. When you don't get them, you're unhappy. Even if the body gets them, it will still not be satisfied, and will still want more good things, and will do everything possible to protect its property, or it will be painful to lose them.

If you can't get it, it's better not to get it!

Happy joy, happy what?

If you don't bring it in life, you won't bring it in death!

The Five Aggregate Sufferings - Because the essence is forced to obtain the five aggregate bodies, it will naturally encounter all kinds of suffering in the world, and there is no way to get rid of it.

There is no way out.

It seems to be just like an ant, and if you survive, you will be hard, and you can't escape for a lifetime, and you can't play at all.

Maybe after hundreds of millions of sperm watched silently at the sperm that entered the egg.

What is the sorrow of death?

"Desperate?" Fugen asked.

"But I'd like to know how the boundaries of the six realms are defined?" Cheng Bei asked.

Six demarcations

Generally refers to the celestial beings as the superior small good fruits in the six realms, but as long as they play a role in the six realms of reincarnation, they can all be said to be ordinary people, life and death are circulated, and they cannot be separated, just like the long night, although the celestial beings are the highest status in the six realms, they still have to be reincarnated.

Generally speaking, the universe refers to the tangible world, which is surrounded by nameless afflictions, so the world is a world of five turbidities and evils.

Among the six realms of reincarnation, the six realms are divided into three realms, which are the realm of desire, the realm of color, and the realm of colorlessness.

The Three Realms are the abode of the six realms of ordinary people, and all those who are in the Three Realms must accept reincarnation, which is why the Buddhist scriptures say that the Three Realms are like a house of fire, and the house of fire is also a metaphor for the three worlds, which is burned by the nameless fire of life and death.

Fugen Yao pointed to the roulette wheel of the Yama Demon King and said melodiously.

According to the scriptures, if you do the ten negative karmas, you will fall into the three evil realms of hell, hungry ghosts, and animals.

If you do the ten good karmic paths, you will be born in the heavenly realm and the human realm.

The so-called heavenly realm is the "divine realm", which is the realm where the soul of righteousness and good fortune dwells, although this realm enjoys happiness, but there is always a time when the blessings are enjoyed, that is, the cultivation of goodness to the point of not thinking about the heavens, this heaven is the highest heaven of the three realms, but once it falls, it still has to be reincarnated. Fugen continued to speak.

"He who does good deeds is at peace with his heart, just like the heavens of man; Although he does good, he is jealous, like a shura; No shame, no shame, no shame, is an animal; greedy and unsatisfied, he is a hungry ghost; If you lose your conscience and do all kinds of evil, you will be in hell. The nine types of beings, one body and one body, are completely established on the feelings of the heart. ”

"Addicts, drug addiction is like hell, but we can't feel such pain when we are close at hand."

The Jizo Sutra says that hell "requires karma if it is not a mighty god." Otherwise, it will never happen. ”

"We have been told that hell is not something that the drilling team can drill. Buddhism also says that when a person meditates to a certain level, he can reach the realm of one Zen Heaven, two Zen Heavens, three Zen Heavens, four Zen Heavens, and so on. The person who has reached these realms does not fly out of the atmosphere like a rocket, but is a state of mind that only he can experience, and Zen music has been confirmed by many meditations to be a real existence. ”
