19. Holy Father and Emperor (7)
"It's rare for Qingzhu Daoyou to come to see me, it's really a rare guest." I stood up with a smile and gave the Taoist salute.
"How dare you." Qingzhu Daoist returned the salute, "I came here today because I have some spiritual matters, and I want to ask Guangchengzi Daoist for advice." â
Yes, I expected him to come to me.
As far as I know, Qingzhu Daoist has not heard the sermon in Zixiao Palace, nor is he a saint, let alone a teacher. In other words, his cultivation is entirely on his own. If I was born in an orthodox class, he would be a wild man.
The reason why there is no guidance from the teacher's inheritance, he can still ascend to the Golden Immortal. Needless to say, of course, it was by virtue of that golden merit.
Since his merits were mentioned, I carefully analyzed them in my heart and found that the merits of Qingzhu Daoist people are mainly composed of the following aspects:
First, it is the merit that his body was used by Nuwa to create people, which is the source of the title of Holy Father. This part of the merit is actually not much, because the big head was taken by Nuwa to sanctify.
Second, it is his merit in guiding the human race to invent and create zĂ o. This part of the merit is not very much, because the Qingzhu Dao people do not dare to directly grab the position of the inventor, so they can only guide on the side. However, due to the accumulation of time, it should be stronger than the previous one.
Third, it is the merit he gained as an emperor. This part of the merit is actually derived from the merits of the human emperor. According to what I heard in the Terran tribe, the Qingzhu Daoist people are still very attentive to the teachings of the Earth Emperor Shennong, except that they did not directly tell him which five kinds of grains are, and they have taught all the teachings. So according to my calculations, this merit is the most part.
Fourth, there are some inexplicable merits. For example, what "send the human race to Shouyang Mountain, and the way of heaven feels that it helps the human race to come to a stable place and give merit" and the like, this kind of merit should be very few, maybe it is more appropriate to call it "protagonist welfare merit".
It's also ironic to say, the Qingzhu Dao people scolded the sky and tossed for a long time, but they didn't get the slightest merit to protect the human race. Because the Heavenly Dao only looks at the results, the human race was almost wiped out in the end, and in the end, it was the Hongjun Dao ancestor who ordered the demon clan to live. No matter what you say, Qingzhu Dao people are not considered to be meritorious.
On the contrary, he then went into retreat in order to heal his wounds, and was rewarded by the Heavenly Dao with a trace of reward merit of "feeling his success and retiring".
Thankfully, the merit thing moves quite a bit every time it comes down, otherwise I wouldn't be able to count and extrapolate. After doing the math, I found out that the protagonist is not as terrible as I thought.
The merit that really dominates is nothing but the merit of the emperor. And Qingzhu Daoren actually only became the emperor of the Shennong clan. Emperor Fuxi is Nuwa's elder brother, and he was secretly guarded by Nuwa throughout the whole process, and even Sanqing did not dare to interfere, and of course Qingzhu Daoren did not become the other party's emperor.
And the Emperor Xuanyuan, because of me, the Qingzhu Dao people didn't get much merit. Merit is bound to luck, and without great merit, he will have no luck. This is one of the ways to cut the protagonist's humane luck.
Another point worth noting is that Cangjie made characters. In other words, before Cangjie, the legends of the human race had to be passed down by word of mouth. How reliable can word of mouth be? The content is quickly distorted and forgotten. Just ask, who still remembers which famous minister next to the Fuxi clan and the Shennong clan? On the contrary, it was Cangjie, Fenghou, and Limu who were around the Xuanyuan clan that passed down. The reason for this is that Cangjie made characters, so that history could begin to be officially recorded and preserved.
The fewer traces recorded in history, the less people will worship the Qingzhu Taoist people in later generations; The less you worship, the less luck you get. In this way, the protagonist's humanity is cut in another way.
Therefore, if you want Qingzhu Daoist to be downplayed as much as possible in historical records, you have to keep him further away from secular affairs. In this battle with Chi You's Zhuolu, he should know the importance of personal cultivation. According to logic, after the Qingzhu Daoist returns, he will definitely have to retreat and do penance.
But he doesn't have guidance, and he will definitely encounter problems in his cultivation. What should I do if I have a problem? Ask someone else. I, the first disciple of a living saint, are sitting next to me, and if the Qingzhu Dao people don't come to me, who else can I find.
Hehe, you really came to ask me. I watched as the protagonist sat down cross-legged in front of me, sneering secretly.
The protagonist Qingzhu Daoren has accumulated a lot of problems in his cultivation, and several of them are even entry-level. In my opinion, if it weren't for the great merit to protect him, he would have gone mad a long time ago.
After patiently answering his question, I finally came to my senses: "Qingzhu Daoist, when you encounter a threshold in your cultivation, there are only two solutions: grinding in the red dust and retreating and purifying your cultivation. Red dust is sharpened, you can observe the various states of the world, exercise the Dao heart, you can harvest adventures and make good karma, and you can accumulate merits to help you practice. But with all due respect, Daoyou has been practicing in the human race all the year round, and he is the teacher of the Earth Emperor, so it is enough for Hongchen to sharpen this aspect. What is really needed is retreat. â
"Oh? I would like to hear about it. "Qingzhu Daoist people don't have enough knowledge in cultivation, just now I answered a lot of questions in one go, and he has subconsciously become convinced of me. It's like in the high-dimensional world, when a top student stands out in a certain exam, other students will trust him very much and feel that everything is right for a top student.
Besides, the character of Guang Chengzi is not a scheming, I can't lie and deceive people, what I say is the truth. And telling the truth is often more able to fool the other party than lying.
"Whoever enters the path of cultivation must first practice the practice of meditation and meditation. This is called Jinggong in my Daomen. Meditation is the basis of retreat, and retreat can be ......" and then I began to list the benefits of retreat and retreat one by one, such as meditation, understanding the Heavenly Dao, making up for the state of mind, recasting the foundation of the Dao, and so on. Then he used celebrity examples to bluff him, Yuan Shi Tianzun retreated and then set up a teaching, Taiqing Laozi realized the secret method of one gas and three cleans after retreat, and so on.
Although I told the truth, I deliberately ignored one point and didn't tell him.
That is: retreats are very time-consuming.
During retreat, the monk has to cut off the five senses from the outside world, not perceiving the passage of time at all. I often go out and look at it again, and find that things are wrong. Especially as the cultivation level increases, the duration of the retreat tends to become longer and longer. When I first entered the Tao, it was only a few days and half a month, and when I waited for the Jin Immortal, it was a common thing for decades.
Retreat, boy! It's best to wait for you to get out of the customs, and Xuanyuan will go to Huoyun Cave.
After being pulled by me, the Qingzhu Daoist really began to practice with peace of mind, although he never left the Xuanyuan tribe, but he did not go out for many years.
The core of this story is "Holy Father and Emperor" anyway. The protagonist's personal cultivation is secondary, and the most important thing is his terrifying merit and luck. Now the people of Qingzhu Dao are fooled by me to give up their roots, and the poor Dao is happy to see it.
Practice, you are the protagonist who wants to become stronger without going against the author's will.
Time flew by, and my plan was getting to the fore.
"I've heard that His Majesty has been summoning Qi Bo frequently lately?" In front of outsiders, I called Xuanyuan with a face.
"Yes, Lord Fenghou and Lord Limu have passed away one after another, and Your Majesty has been hit hard." The attendant answered me honestly, "Qi Bo is good at medicine, and His Majesty often asks him about his health preservation techniques. â
Hmph, layman.
The medical Tao survives and prolongs life, and the person who can really make him immortal is here!
