Chapter 117: Opportunity
Not long after Alan and Edward were seated, Professor Lockhart entered the classroom with a graceful smile in a gorgeous lilac robe.
In terms of appearance, he is really impeccable! In addition to theatrical performances, maybe he can also be qualified to teach fashion classes!
"I'm so glad to see you again! Last assignment was to compose a poem for me to heal a snowman, and one of my classmates got an excellent!impeccable result!" Professor Lockhart excitedly pulled out a piece of parchment and showed it to everyone.
As soon as he took it out, Edward, who was beside Allen, couldn't help but cover his face with his hands and shrank behind the book that was erected high.
"What's wrong?" Alan asked, confused.
"It's over, I've copied it too much!" Edward held out his index finger and pointed at Professor Lockhart on the desk, "That parchment in his hand is my homework!"
"So far, how do you know?"
"I've accidentally got ink on the back of the parchment, or—heart-shaped!" Edward almost wanted to get into the cracks in the ground, if there were any cracks!
But Professor Lockhart on the stage continued to praise him with great interest, "This Edward Fox student is very discerning, and he can see that my healing magic is very effective! Even if the snowman has a cold, I can still treat it." That's why I was able to live with it for a year!" Professor Lockhart shook his slightly curly blonde hair and winked knowingly. "Now, let me read this classic poem by Fox!"
Edward slapped himself in the face, and there was nothing to love!
"Look, Professor Lockhart, who takes care of the snowman
raised his head red from the cold,
The eyes of a snowman
They all admired his superb magic.
Snow mountains with eyes,
Come and await his holy coming,
Then he ascended to the top of the firmament.
Energetic in the prime of life, majestic and heroic.
After him,
The galloping snowman,
Worship with your eyes
His grandeur,
......
yes
Without you,
I'd rather "forget it all"!
Fox, that's a great job! It's the best poetry I've ever read! Ravenclawa! Fox, where are you?" Professor Gilderoy Lockhart blushed with excitement! "Fox, I'd like to invite you to be the werewolf of today's show!"
Obviously, Professor Lockhart didn't remember Edward, but after today, none of the Ravenclaw students should have to worry about being called in as assistants!
"Shakespeare will die if he sees you tampering with his poetry like this!" Alan nudged Edward, reminding him to get up and perform.
"yes, so I've been punished, haven't I?" Edward stepped out of his seat with a desperate look on his face.
"Well called, Edward—too much like that—and, believe it or not, I pounced—like this—slammed him down—like this—I pinned him to the ground with one hand—with the other hand holding the wand, against his throat—and then I slowed down, and used the rest of my strength to cast a very complex humanoid restoration charm—he let out a miserable groan—Edward, and called—a little higher—good—the hair on his body was gone—the big fangs retracted— He became a man again. Simple yet effective - one more village will always remember me as a hero, and I saved them from the panic of being attacked by werewolves once a month. ”
The bell rang for the end of class, and Lockhart stood up, "Homework: Write a poem about my victory over the Werewolves of Wagga Wagga!
As his classmates began to leave, Edward sat down in his seat as if he had exhausted all his strength, "I swear I will never copy poetry again!"
Alan patted him sympathetically on the shoulder, pinched a note, and quickly ran out of the classroom. When Professor Lockhart had just read Edward's poetry, he realized that this was a good opportunity!
"Professor Lockhart!" Alan stopped Professor Lockhart, who was going downstairs, "I want to borrow this book from the library." Hope to get some background from it. Alan handed the note to Professor Lockhart, "But this book is in the forbidden section of the library, so I need a teacher to sign the note—I'm sure this book will help me understand the attack spell you talked about in Breaking with the Female Ghost......"
"Ah, Break with the Female Ghost!" Lockhart smiled enthusiastically, "This book is very exciting, do you like it?"
"Oh, of course I like it," Alan said sincerely, praising his acting skills wildly, "You preemptively subdued the female ghost the moment she transformed, it's so witty......"
"Ah, I'm sure no one would object to me giving the best students in the grade a little extra help. Lockhart said enthusiastically, pulling out a huge peacock quill brush. He signed a big flower name on the note, and returned the note to Alan.
Alan respectfully thanked and left, quickly running towards the library. The opportunity is rare to avoid long nights and dreams, he has to quickly borrow the book in his hand, that - "The Secret of the Soul"!
Alan has wanted to study soul magic for a long time, but there are no relevant books on ordinary bookshelves, and he doesn't even draw relevant spells when he does tasks. This is a rare opportunity, except for Professor Lockhart, I am afraid that no professor will sign the note without reading it! Even if you count the professors who will take over the Defence Against the Dark Arts class later!
Walking into the dreary and quiet library, Alan found Mrs. Pince.
"The Secret of the Soul?" she read skeptically, taking the note from Alan's hand.
"You haven't returned the Mystery Beast Illustrated Book you borrowed before, so you're going to borrow a new book soon?" Mrs. Pince didn't move, looking at Alan suspiciously.
"Ah, in fact I've finished reading that book, and I'll be able to return it to you soon. Allen's eyes were as light blue as the grass and tried to look genuine. It is hoped that Mrs. Pins is a fan of Professor Gilderoy Lockhart's books, so that he will easily borrow books, even for the sake of autographs.
Mrs. Pince held up the note and shone it into the light, as if to test it for forgery, and it passed the test. She swaggered past the tall bookshelves and returned a few minutes later, a large black and silver book in her hand. Alan took the heavy book, bowed in thanks, and quickly left the library.
He needs to find a quiet place, a place where no one is disturbed, and read this book - "The Secret of the Soul"!
