63. Hogwarts 09
The Christmas break is over, a new semester begins, and in this half of the term, Hogwarts has an additional Divination professor, Sybil Trelawney.
Obviously, most of the Ravenclaw non-Muggle-born wizards knew about Trelawney, Sherlock asked casually, and then stared at Trelawney sitting in the professor's chair for a moment, then retracted his gaze, and his white fingers tapped regularly on the long table: "Obviously, the soothsayer who entered Hogwarts halfway through as a professor made a prophecy related to the Dark Lord, and Hagrid even knew about it, it seems that he made a prophecy outside of school and was overheard by Hagrid, which is really interesting." β
Erin's equally bright eyes looked at the professorship, and after making far-reaching eye contact with Dumbledore, Erin naturally smiled at the Headmaster, and did not immediately withdraw her gaze, but fell on Sybil Trelawney.
Although with Sherlock's help, Erin built her own mind palace, unlike Sherlock who didn't leave enough empty rooms for his mind palace to have to be amnesticized when she added some new knowledge, Erin's mind palace was spacious enough, meaning that she remembered everything she had seen and the parallel universe she was in now. Sybil Trelawney, a character throughout the story, has a prophecy that predicts the demise of the Savior and Voldemort.
Irene was particularly impressed by her, but not because of this well-known prophecy, but because of another prophecy made by Trelawney, "Thirteen people eat together, and the first person to stand up after the meal will be the first to die." After reading the whole book, this prophecy was completely correct, and Erin was curious about the power of this language, but she didn't know what rules Sybil Trelawney used to make the correct predictions.
Trelawney, who was in the professor's chair, received two stares that hit her heart one after another, and she could no longer control it, knocking over the cup containing pumpkin juice in her hand.
Erin was a little unclear about this.
Sherlock laughed unceremoniously, and he winked at his girlfriend, "Dear Lynn, it seems that your animal relationship is still not good." β
Erin stared at Sherlock for five seconds with his shiny teeth exposed, and then tapped his wand, replacing the milk tea in front of Sherlock with milk, and sending an equally bright smile.
Sherlock: "......"
The eaglets who were shown off again: "......" Didn't the two of them realize that there were innocent people around? But then again, the number of people who dropped out of Hogwarts this school year was at least 30 percent higher than in previous years.
β¦β¦
The first class was the Transfiguration class, Professor McGonagall always arrived in the classroom five minutes early, but this time it was not as usual, but stepped on the class time to hurry up, just before Professor McGonagall entered the classroom, Sherlock had just eaten enough for breakfast and slipped away to find his informant, who had just come in and sat down next to Erin, with no expectations of "fear that the world would not be chaotic".
Not only that, but after the lesson, Sherlock was immersed in his own world, and not only was he not quite right, but Professor McGonagall, who had always been attentive to teaching in class, was absent-minded. The eaglets looked at each other, conveying their doubts, while the badgers who were in class with them did not see the problem at all, and were still immersed in the joy of the rest of their lives.
When class was over, Erin watched Professor McGonagall leave in a hurry, and when the rest of the class had left, she pulled Sherlock, who was absent-minded - Comrade Ai could naturally see that the magical consulting detective was absent-minded, rather than immersed in thought, "Maybe you should tell me about the latest information you got from your informant." β
Sherlock didn't speak, still maintaining the "silence" he had already maintained for a lesson.
"You're not going to say? Well, well, I already know that anyway. Erin was accustomed to her boyfriend's "resistant" attitude, and after saying this, she packed her bag and prepared to go to the second class, only to be stopped by a hand stretched out by Sherlock, who had been released from his silence, and he put his hands together at his chin, as if he was thinking about how to speak.
"Come on, we're going to have a second class." Comrade Xiao Ai said so, but she had already put down her schoolbag, and was unexpectedly glared at by her boyfriend.
"About the prophecy," Sherlock said slowly, but he reacted the next moment, and couldn't help but raise his voice, "Wait, you already know?" β
"Didn't you say that an informant is essential as a detective? So you have your informant, and I have mine, and I have known what happened to my informant when you went to Hagrid's hut and he entertained you to eat rock skin cakes that he had made himself. The more Erin spoke, the quieter she became, because Sherlock's face became more and more ugly with her words, and when Erin finally stopped, his expression changed unpredictably, and finally returned to flatness, and said in a rather cold tone: "I'm so glad to see you so calm, it's good, you've learned to be a cold looker, and not to be emotional, it's really good." β
Just listen to it, the gnashing of teeth under this coldness is almost overflowing.
"Because you're by my side." Erin blurted out without thinking about it.
Sherlock squinted at her.
Erin paused before saying, "You've heard it, and I'm not going to say it again." β
"Now that you already know," Sherlock snorted unwillingly, but he didn't dwell on it anymore, thanks to his extraordinary brain, he could even remember Comrade Xiao Ai's demeanor when he said this, but it didn't delay him from sulking, and accentuated the syllables when he spoke again, "Then I think you also know that the person from the mysterious place who has mysterious powers and can defeat the Dark Lord mentioned in the prophecy is referring to you." β
"So you're worried about me?"
"Irene!" Sherlock angrily called out his girlfriend's name.
Irene ignored Sherlock's fierce expression, she stared at him, Sherlock turned her gaze a little uncomfortably, and said viciously, "I really don't understand why you are always dwelling on such obvious things, not only wasting each other's time, but also making me wonder if it was the release of dopamine that made your head becomeβ" He choked his neck and didn't say what he was going to say next, "You know what I mean." β
Erin didn't say she was going to beat him, she just propped her head on her fingertips and tilted her head to look at Sherlock, "I guess I just want to see your duplicity now, so can we get down to business?" According to this so-called prophecy - I have to say, the timing of this prophecy is really delicate, just after we took out the soul fragment that the Dark Lord had split into the Gunt family ring - and we are now being crowned with the vat to become the savior of the wizarding world? Aren't you happy to defeat the Demon King as a warrior? β
"Oh, you mean the Demon King who plays the splinter combo game, then I'm really excited!" Sherlock leaned forward and approached Erin, revealing a Sherlock-esque smirk, his tone was disgusted, and he raised an eyebrow: "Speaking of which, I don't see how excited you are. β
Erin frowned and made a look of hard thinking, and then gave a reason: "Because I'm not a Gryffindor?" β
"Very good!" Sherlock grinned and said, "Then let's go to Gryffindor and strike first." Oh, and maybe we could visit the Sorting Hat and have this wonderful hat re-divide us into houses, and assign me to Gryffindor and you to Hufflepuff, wouldn't that be more interesting? β
Sherlock stood up in a huff, as if he was going to rush into the headmaster's office to do so.
In fact, Sherlock actually stormed the Headmaster's office in February, after the appearance of the Eater of Souls outside Hogwarts.
"About Voldemort, oh, the name can't be said yet, it's the mysterious Horcrux, I think we can help, given that Headmaster Dumbledore has finally realized that dear Tom has slipped himself and is privately investigating the Horcrux. I think we'd do well to ask Professor Slughorn about this, because he likes to be the center of attention, to show off his knowledge, and to always preach in front of his favorite students. β
After Sherlock finished speaking, without giving the others time to digest, he raised his eyebrows and glanced at the professors with different faces in the headmaster's office, and finally fell on the face of Headmaster Dumbledore, and said in a fake look, "Oh, maybe you let the Soul Eaters outside in, and let them verify for you if Erin is the one who can defeat the Dark Lord as prophesied?" If it is, we're all happy, and if it doesn't, it doesn't seem like there's anything to lose, does it? β
Not exciting enough, Sherlock dropped a deep-water torpedo: "Well, I said there will be no loss, because we have the greatest white wizard of our time, the white wizard who once defeated the first generation of the Dark Lord." Regardless of whether it was a real duel with magic or emotion, yes, it was very easy for two talented young men to touch a spark, and it was very deadly, and the lethality here is not only literal, but also compared to the tragic fact that human life was really involved in the first place. I guess it's your relative, oh, your sister, maybe it was just an accident at first, but the accident happened after all, so you two broke up, didn't you? β
Professors: "!! β
The previous principals in the portrait: "!! β
As the saying goes, gossip is human nature, and the attention of everyone/portrait is not focused on the defeat of Voldemort first, but on the love affair between Dumbledore and Gellert Grindelwald.
Dumbledore: "......"
Sherlock rolled his eyes unscrupulously, slapped his hand on the headmaster's desk, and smirked, "Now, can we open the skylight and say something?" Let's discuss how to defeat the second generation of the Dark Lord! "He's had enough of their hesitation and temptation of Erin.
