Chapter 14: The Three-Headed Dog
"We're in the door of the Charms classroom right now. Ryan said to Ron, "Sure enough, my worries are justified, but are pure-blood wizards generally so untrustworthy when faced with duels?"
"By no means. Ron retorted, "Only the Vipers of Slytherin could do that, like us Weasleys."
Never do such a thing. ”
"The Weasleys? I think I might have met one. A Department of Magic official named Arthur Weasley, who guided me to the wizarding world, was a great help, and he was really a warm and nice guy. ”
"Thank you for your compliments to my father. Ron smiled kindly at Ryan.
"Looks like we got rid of him." Hermione wiped the sweat from her head and said, "I said it a long time ago......"
Before she could finish speaking, Harry interrupted her, "We have to hurry back to the dorm, we can't stay here." ”
Judging by Harry's expression, he might have thought Hermione was right, but he didn't want to admit it in front of Hermione.
No sooner had they stood up than a door in the hallway opened, and Peeves floated out, screaming with joy at the sight of them.
"Nasty freshman, wandering around in the middle of the night. Tsk, tsk, tsk, naughty, naughty, you're going to be caught. ”
As soon as Hermione was about to plead, Ryan pulled her forward and shouted at Harry, "He's Peeves, it's useless to plead, run." ”
Harry was still a little stunned, but Ron reacted, grabbed him and ran down the corridor, at this time, everyone couldn't hide their footsteps, and fled down the corridor with all their might. Peeves shouted from behind, "Students don't sleep, in the hallway of Charms class!"
The four of them fled together to the end of the hallway, only to find that the door at the end of the hallway was locked. Filch's footsteps came from the back hallway.
"It's over!" Ron whimpered. They pushed the door in despair. Ryan was ready to be caught, after all, Filch was a little more amiable than the three-headed dog.
"Go away. Hermione suddenly rushed to the door. She snatched Harry's wand, knocked on the lock, and whispered, "Alajo Cave!" The lock clicked and the door opened. ”
Ryan's face changed suddenly, and before he could say anything, he was pulled in by Hermione.
He was saddened to find that females at this age developed earlier than males, and he was caught off guard by Hermione and forced into the room. Then there was a bang, and the door was shut.
Sure enough, Peeves is Peeves, and he will ignore anyone in this school except for a little respect for the professor and Barrow the Blood. Filch was teased by Peeves but found nothing, and cursed angrily, but finally left without a solution.
Harry gasped and said, "He must have thought the door was locked, and we were finally safe." ”
"I don't think so, you can look back. Ryan said with a trembling voice.
It is likely that the big dog Lu Wei, who has the blood of the three-headed dog of hell, appeared in front of everyone's eyes in this way.
They were facing the eyes of a large, monstrous dog that was so big that it filled all the space from the ceiling to the floor. It had three heads, three pairs of vicious eyes that were dripping and turning, three noses—twitching and trembling in their direction—and three drooling mouths that hung from the yellowed dog's teeth like slimy rope.
It stood motionless, all six eyes staring at them.
Ryan knew that the dog would fall asleep whenever he heard music. At first, he thought that knowing this weakness would not be so difficult to deal with this dog. But when he arrived at the scene, he realized that when you face such a huge beast, you can't sing at all.
His gaze swept down, and sure enough, a door to the basement was trampled under the feet of a dog. This must have been Dumbledore's test for Harry, and it was a bit suspicious that Peeves was deliberately driving them in this direction today.
At the very least, the Headmaster should be able to order the ghosts in Hogwarts, and if he really doesn't want people to come to this place, he can order the ghosts to drive the students who are close to this place in other directions. Think about the levels in the original book, except for the final magic mirror, the others are too child's play. It really doesn't look like it's used to deal with the Dark Lord, and those levels happen to be against the advantage of three interlopers, isn't it a bit too much of a coincidence?
But fortunately, this is just the beginning of the main plot, so for the time being, you don't have to worry about being treated as a candidate for the brave by the principal, at least Neville was not regarded as a brave candidate in the original text.
The lock clicked open, and it turned out to be Harry who had twisted the handle. Then they hurried out and closed the door, but fortunately the dog was chained to the wall and could not be chased out. Then the four of them ran desperately upstairs towards the Gryffindor Tower.
On the way, Ryan quietly stuffed the sunshine crystals that he had put in his pocket before leaving back to the grocery store. This was something he had prepared before, just in case, when he wanted to buy time to escape with the Sunlight Crystal flashbang.
Smoothly, they ran to the door of the dormitory on the eighth floor, and the fat lady had returned, and she curiously asked how the embarrassed four people did this.
But everyone didn't want to speak, and then opened the door with a password. Stumbled back into the lounge, then collapsed on the couch in the lounge.
The four of them were silent for a while, and Ron broke the silence with his mouth: "Why does the school put such a violent beast in the castle to raise, aren't they afraid of accidents?"
Hermione gasped and stood up. "Don't you see it standing on top of a trapdoor? ”
Then she glared at the three boys, "I want you to be glad for today." We all almost got bitten to death – or worse, expelled from school. Well, if you don't object, I'm going to go to bed. ”
Well, as someone innocently implicated, it was completely understandable that Hermione was so angry, especially since this adventure almost cost everyone their lives.
After sitting for a few more minutes, the three of them went upstairs together, and then returned to their respective dormitories after saying goodnight to each other at the door of the dormitory.
Ryan felt all over his body, so he didn't wash up, took off his clothes and went straight to bed.
In bed, he reflected on his actions today. Sure enough, he is still a little reckless, and the most important thing is that his strength is insufficient, so even if he knows what will happen next, he is powerless to change.
Thinking of this, he made up his mind. I have always been afraid of facing an unfamiliar world. So he didn't open the door to a new world in the grocery store, and it seems that he can't go now.
After setting a new goal, Ryan rolled over and slowly fell asleep.
