Chapter Seventy-Six: Escape

By the time Brant jumped up from the ground intact, the guard's spear almost dug into Vanessa's shoulder.

"Kill them!" Originally kidnapped by the guards, Creon, after witnessing the Silver King's death, excitedly commanded the Kingsguard to capture his brother and Vanessa.

Fortunately, Brant still had the long sword in his hand, he swung his sword to block the guard's spear, protected Vanessa behind him, and stabbed a sword into the lower abdomen of one of the guards with all his strength, and picked up the opponent's shield to block the impact of the next spear and short sword.

"Go that way." Vanessa found that Doron's Gate had not yet closed, and her eyes lit up with hope. They were only ten steps away from the door that had appeared out of nowhere, and should have arrived in time before Creon found out.

Brandt used his shield to block a two-handed sword, and the samurai with the sword, with a broken yellow fang, danced the sword so vigorously that if he hadn't blocked it with his shield in time, the blow would have broken half of Brant's ribs. Brandt jumped slightly, dodged the blade that swung again, and stabbed the long sword in his hand diagonally into the gap between the opponent's overly open arm and breastplate, and the yellow plate immediately fell to the ground, and the companion behind stepped on his corpse to fill the gap, not letting the prince relax for a moment. Brandt slammed his shield into the nearest guard, causing the other to snort with a massive impact, and the prince swung his sword and slashed his legs, and the other man fell to his companion in a scream.

Jingle bells, long swords and mirror shields kiss, steel at war.

One, two, three, Vanessa counted for Brant, and she saw the sweat running down the prince's cheeks, his arms getting lower and weaker each time he blocked, and sometimes he tried to jump up to dodge attacks from the ground, but only the strength of his feet to step on those swords was weakened. Vanessa looked up, and sure enough, there was a magician behind Creon who was casting spells on Brant with his hands open, and the two had only moved two small steps towards Doron's Gate so far.

"Creon! I did it! I'll kill the king for you!" Vanessa screamed behind Brant, "Why don't you keep your word and give me freedom!" Are you going to kill people? โ€

These words clearly made the guards hesitate, and although they did not stop attacking, it was clear that someone was looking back at Creon for the truth. Brandt's attacks weakened, and his strength returned to the prince.

Creon was visibly overwhelmed by such slander, and then angrily gave Vanessa an order that made Vanessa delight: "She lied! Guardsman! Get them! I want to live! "If before this, Creon didn't care about other people's accusations, but now that things are different, he will be king, how can he allow others to have doubts about the legitimacy of his throne.

Do you want to live? Vanessa, seeing the guards becoming timid, was secretly grateful for Creon's stupidity, and as the offensive weakened, the princess could see that victory was in sight.

There are three more steps.

Brandt seemed to be confronted with a particularly difficult opponent at this pointโ€”a broad-faced, blonde-haired warrior with a straight scar on his face that began at the beginning of his forehead and ended at the corner of his mouth, straddling the yellow skin characteristic of the Scambrais.

The blonde warrior slashed with his sword in both hands, and the two swords intersected, and there was a loud "bell" that made the bones tremble. Brandt retreated, dodging left and right, while the warriors followed suit, holding on to the offensive advantage. Under the slamming of the two-handed sword, Brant's shield was already broken, so he threw it away, and used his arms to fight back against the blonde warrior, but he was never able to hit the blonde, even if he barely hit it, it was useless, the big warrior was always able to dodge and move dexterously, and Brant's longsword was too thin, always tired of dealing with the opponent's attack, and most of the time he struggled to hold on.

Time passed in the clash of swords, but Brant didn't give up, adjusting his pace and gradually leading the blonde warrior to the gates of Doron.

One step away.

The prince's chance came when the blonde fought back next. Brandt pounced on his opponent, they bumped into each other, their legs and feet entangled, and they fell to the ground with a bang.

Because Creon ordered to live, the follow-up guards did not dare to take out their weapons lightly, and could only watch the two people roll to the ground, unable to control the strength of their hands.

Vanessa stepped across the Gate of Dolon, one foot into the void of chaos, the other still in the Land of the Wine Valley, and she shouted hoarsely, "Hurry up! โ€

The two men on the ground were red-eyed and had forgotten their mission, the blonde warrior pushed his knee between Brant's legs, and Brant responded with his old fist, and the warrior slammed the prince's stomach with his fist with steel armor, causing him to vomit out the air in his lungs, but the prince heard Vanessa's cry, and his legs were strained, and with the blonde warrior pressing down, both of them rolled into the door of Doron
