Chapter 18: Spring Outing (5)
After getting to know the "ramen way" of the Sapporo ramen owner, Yukishita and I thought that it might not take much time to visit the old red brick building of the Hokkaido Government Office and Hokkaido University in the afternoon, so we went to the surrounding shops for a while before embarking on a pleasant tour. Of course, we already have three or four shopping bags in our hands, and they all contain our favorite "Mr. Pan" under the snow. It seems that for Mr. Pan's sales company, Xue Xia is undoubtedly the most loyal customer.
Speaking of the old red brick building in Hokkaido, it is undoubtedly the most famous building in the whole of Sapporo and the whole of Hokkaido. Although looking at the present, there may not be a few Baroque style European buildings built with red bricks in the country. But there is really only one example of a 'red brick' as famous. Although it may seem that this architectural style may be a little backward now, it is still favored by the public, and all the buildings in the museum are free for the public to visit.
Part of the reason why Xuexia and I chose this building as a place to visit is because we are liberal arts students, and learning more about Hokkaido's historical documents and how people lived at that time has a non-negligible support for our studies. On the other hand, both Yukishita and I were curious about the emergence of a European-style Baroque style building in the country, and although since the Meiji Restoration, a series of policies implemented by the leaders at that time were deeply related to the political and economic systems of the West, why such a European-style building appeared here in Hokkaido, and it is also a former government building in Sapporo, I and Yukishita would like to understand why such a European-style building appeared here in Hokkaido.
Although many of the materials are no longer allowed to be touched by visitors, we can still feel the life of people in that era through the thin, brittle and slightly yellowed paper. But for me, it's actually a pity, because I can't see the literary side under the snow. [No, no, no, you've seen it, big teacher, in those years in the Ministry of Service, didn't she often read under the bed under the snow, isn't this a literary young woman? 】
Then I went to the Hokkaido History Gallery with Yukishi, and maybe the words became untrue because of the author's description, but the works made by the painter do not lie, because the biggest difference between a painter and a writer is that the writer has to take into account not only his own feelings, but also the style that the people of the time liked. The painter is different, often in a painting, the more the painter puts his emotions into it, the more people like that painting. I looked at the beautifully framed paintings under the snow, and in addition to feeling beautiful, we seemed to be able to see the prosperity of the city at that time from those paintings; See the hard work of the people in the country; It also shows that in that society, adolescent students yearn for freedom. [In fact, no matter at that time, what students yearn for is freedom, which may be innate.] 】
After a quick tour of the two museums behind the life of the History Gallery, we came to the most important part of the tour, the memorial room, the former Hokkaido Government Office Governor's Office. Although the snow and I were presented in front of me as a relatively empty room, the facilities in the room were still the same as they were before the relocation of the government building, when the director of the department was working. However, when I think that this is the office of a government unit, I still have some respect for Xue Xia.
After about half an hour of visiting the memorial room, we walked through the final meeting room, and then we came to the exit of the old red brick building in Hokkaido. Looking at the European-style buildings behind him, I silently said goodbye in my heart, and this slightly boring visit came to an end.
According to the plan, the next step was to visit Hokkaido University, but after visiting the old Hokkaido Red Brick Building, I suggested to Yukishimo, who was next to me, that I should not visit Hokkaido University because it would be, oh no, it would be boring. After listening to my proposal, Snow nodded in agreement, and we canceled the plan. But the question is, if you don't go to Hokkaido University, where do you go to 'squander' your time? After all, on such a sunny afternoon, if you don't go to play, it's really a tyrannical thing.
I thought about it and finally came up with a place that was both laid-back and romantic. If you're familiar with Hokkaido, you'll be familiar with the word 'terrace', but the world-famous 'Hokkaido Unkai Terrace' is a romantic café.
"Now, under the snow, I have a very romantic place, a café on the mountain, but would you like to accompany me? After all, it's in the mountains, although it's not very high, but do you still have enough physical strength? If it's not enough, don't force it. "I wanted to make my suggestion under the snow, but I was worried about my physical strength under the snow because I was in the mountains.
"It's okay, I don't feel very tired yet, because I used to walk like a walk, so I didn't feel tired at all. Since Hachiman-kun said that the café is very romantic, then I'll go with you, after all, I'm your real girlfriend. The answer under the snow dispelled my worries.
Since I feel that my physical strength is okay under the snow, then I have nothing to worry about. I took the snow to the subway station in Sapporo because there is a direct train from Sapporo Station to "Hokkaido Unkai Terrace". In my opinion, this is also the quickest way to do it.
After about 45 minutes of train ride, Yukishimoto and I finally arrived at the door of Hoshino Tomamu Resort. Looking up from the foot of the mountain, there are clouds and mist in the middle of the mountain that is not very high. Although the phenomenon of "sea of clouds" usually only appears in the high mountains, in Hoshino, due to its unique geographical location and weather conditions, it appears halfway up the mountain, so it is undoubtedly a different kind of "gift" from God for the elderly and children who are not physically strong.
After admiring this spectacle in our hearts, I took a special gondola ride under the snow to the specially designed Unkai Observatory to see this magnificent natural phenomenon with our own eyes.
After about 5 minutes of gondola ride, I went to the café on the observation deck with the snow. I walked in with the snow and sat down in a spot closest to the wonders of the sea of clouds. I ordered a mocha under the snow, and I ordered a milk coffee. I can't help it, I still can't get rid of my dependence on sweets. Sitting in this position, through the transparent glass, the sea of clouds seems to be within reach, but when you really reach out to touch it, it is so far away from you. The so-called "unreal" must mean such a feeling.
Since it was a temporary decision to go to Unkai Terrace with me under the snow, we didn't make a perfect adjustment to the timing. In order not to be late, we had to give up this to continue to enjoy the wonders of the 'sea of clouds', take the cable car down the mountain, and go down the mountain. However, before leaving, the waiter told us that we were very lucky, because in general, if we want to see the beautiful sea of clouds, we have to endure the pain of waking up early to catch the first cable car up the mountain. And when we arrive in the afternoon, we can see the spectacle, which is really rare. Hearing this, I smiled at each other under the snow, it seems that we are not only lucky to meet each other, but even during the spring outing, the god of luck is also favoring us.
After we descended the mountain, we took the free shuttle bus back to Sapporo City, and although we changed the itinerary of the trip, the last stop was to eat Sapporo ramen. After all, ramen is one of Sapporo's specialties! I ate a bowl of ramen with me at a medium-sized ramen shop under the snow, and it was considered dinner. Although I was worried about whether I would be able to eat enough under the snow. But the lovely burp under the snow after eating proves that my worries are nothing more than unfounded worries.
I went back to the hotel after dinner under the snow, and sure enough, time passed so fast, and it felt like a long time ago, we were still immersed in the joy of spring outing. But I feel that in a few days, the spring outing will end. It may be that everyone thought of this fact, and the usually noisy dormitory calmed down. What's more, I fell asleep early. I looked around, unplugged the fully charged PSP, played for a while, learned the lesson, turned off the PSP when I was done, turned around and got ready for bed. Yes, time flies so fast, will there be a day when I and I will be separated from the snow? However, according to my character, unless it is a natural cause, if there is a human factor that wants to separate me and Xuexia, then I will make him pay a great price. Absolute!
