Prologue
Prologue
The sky was filled with dark clouds as black as ink, and the terrible black wind blew across the surface and carried away dead leaves, and the pale full moon could be seen hanging high above the sky through the clouds.
The blood-colored torrential rain continued to hit the ground, and a terrifying thunderclap broke the silence of the night, bringing instant light to this dark world.
The startled crow made a "quack" cry, flapped its wings and rushed into the air, heading for the castle not far away.
The castle perched on top of a cliff, even if it has been destroyed by time, has not detracted from its charm in the slightest. On the contrary, after the polishing of time, it seems to be full of the magnificence of historical precipitation.
The crows cast their eyes on the moor below, their bulging eyes rolling around, and there was no human presence around them, which meant that food was hard to find.
This is a demon cave that is forever shrouded in darkness, and it is a paradise for all monsters. Almost all of the humans who are unfortunate enough to get lost here have fallen into the belly of a scavenging crow.
This is a chaotic world connected by the dark sun, home to the castle of Dracula, the world's most feared monster king.
Large crows land on the roof of the castle, looking for shelter from the wind and rain. Among them, several crows landed on the edge of the window of a room at the very top of the castle, tilting their heads to look at the scenery in the window.
At the end of the room, there was a falling statue of the Virgin, and for some reason her eyes were dripping with bright red blood.
In front of the statue of the Virgin, a cold throne rises.
Even the dumb-headed crows, as humans call them, don't venture into them. Even if the blood soaked her feathers like a torrential rain, even if it was attacked by the biting cold wind, the horror deep in the soul warned them: once they broke in, they would surely die.
Located on the top floor of Castlevania, this is the room known as "Between the Thrones", where the throne of the demon king who rules the castle is located.
As long as ordinary monsters dare to trespass into it, they will be immediately wiped out by all the power of Castlevania.
Between the thrones, only the demon king and the brave are qualified to set foot in it.
In addition, only the god of death, who is trusted by the demon king and serves as the demon city manager, can occasionally enter this place with permission.
This is Castlevania, the monster that gathers all the dark forces of the world, full of chaos and evil, symbolizing the opposite of light, the shadow part of the world.
With each generation of Count Dracula being awakened by humanity, this castle that symbolizes evil will appear in the world. At that time, the attracted Belmonds will enter the arena and fight to the death against their old enemy, Dracula.
Thanks to the sacrifices of generations of Belmond descendants and brave people from all over the world, Dracula, the demon king who has awakened and tried to bring chaos and destruction to the world, has been reburied here, and the history of mankind has been able to develop unharmed until 2035.
With the arrival of a solar eclipse, the pitch-black sun appears in the sky, into which an innocent soul is sucked.
