017 Creatures of Bad Taste

On the last night before they returned to school, a grand celebratory dinner was held at the old mansion, and above the dining table hung two striking strips of red cloth, each of which read:

"Celebrating Lawrence, the New Male Student Council President"

"Ron and Hermione elected prefects"

"I think we should have a little celebration party—" Mrs. Wiasley said to Lawrence, Fred, George, Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Ginny as they walked in, "Arthur is on his way, and I think he's happy to die."

Mrs. Weasley was obviously in a much better mood because Ron was elected prefect, and she didn't reprimand her son because Fred rolled his eyes.

Sirius, Lupin, Tonks, and Kingsley were already seated, and the long table was filled with dishes and creamy beers.

The kitchen door was opened, and Lawrence looked over unconsciously, but it was Moody, and he limped into the dining room,

"Delacour won't be here tonight, Rovander." Moody said as he met Lawrence's gaze staring at the kitchen door, and as he spoke, he ripped off his somewhat heavy cloak, Lawrence lowered his gaze and did not speak,

"Moody, I'm glad you're here," called Mrs. Weasley, "Can you help us see that desk in the living room on the second floor?"

"I'd love to help, but there's no way, Molly." Moody replied, rolling up his blindfolded left eye, revealing the creepy hollow, "Lupin is a master at dealing with dark creatures, you better go and ask him."

"Ah, I'm sorry," Mrs. Weasley shuddered, and she apologized a little embarrassed, "I forgot."

"It's okay, I guess the liar is using my props right now, right?" Moodis yelled, pulling down his blindfold to cover the hole in his left eye, he looked back at Lawrence and said, "I haven't had a chance to thank you yet, but you taught that liar a profound lesson."

Lawrence hesitated, he didn't know whether to respond to the sentence, whether to be humble and say "It's okay" or "No thanks"? No matter how you respond, it seems a little strange,

"Ugh...... Now may not be a good time to talk about it," Mrs. Weasley, seeing Lawrence's discomfort, quickly changed the subject, pulling Ron aside and introducing him to Moody, "The fourth prefect in our family."

"Prefect, huh?" Moody groaned, staring straight at Ron, "Congratulations, I think the pundits always get in trouble, but Dumbledore must think you can stand up??" These are the dangers—"

This obviously made Ron a little stunned, and he seemed to start thinking about the dangers of being a superior, but at this time, Mr. Weasley and Mondonguez entered the dining room one after another, and he didn't have to continue to think about how to respond to this sentence.

Mrs. Weasley was in a high spirit, and she handed out drinks to everyone who had their hands empty, and when everyone had drinks in their hands, Mr. Weasley spoke,

"As is customary, then, to Lawrence, the new male president of the student council." Mr. Weasley shouted, and everyone raised their glasses to Lawrence, waiting until the applause had stopped before Mr. Weasley continued, "Let's salute Ron and Hermione, the new prefects of Gryffindor."

Everyone toasted them again, and then applauded, and Ron and Hermione happily accepted the blessing, and then they crowded to the table and began to fill their plates with food,

"I've never been a prefect, let alone a student council president," Tonks, with his bright tomato red waist-length hair, standing next to Ginny like her older sister, "My house tutor says I'm missing something—"

"Like?" Ginny asked with great interest,

"Like the ability to follow the rules." Tonks said, Ginny laughed, and Hermione quickly took a sip of cream beer to hide her smile, but she was choked on it.

"What about you? Sirius." Ginny asked as she patted Hermione on the back, and Sirius let out a dog-like laugh at the question,

"No one would choose me as a prefect, Jaime and I were punished for labor all day long, but Lupin was a good boy, he was a prefect." Sirius said with a teasing expression,

"I think Dumblido wants me to take care of my good friends," Remus said, "and I can only be honest with him, I can't help it."

"Lawrence, what do you think?" Fred and George asked in laughter,

"Dumbledore's idea is whimsical." Lawrence said, and then he and Remus laughed together, with a look of helplessness that only the two of them could understand,

"Jaime was the boy president of the student council," Sirius said, smiling, "he's 'tamed' well by Lily...... uh?"

"Jaime is very good, and that is even more evident when he puts away his pride and childishness." Remus said fairly, he showed a nostalgic look, Harry stood aside and looked at the two of them expectantly, he wanted to hear more about his parents, Lawrence did not continue to listen to their topic, but walked in the direction of Moody and Kingsley,

"You just said Fleur wouldn't be here tonight?" Lawrence asked,

"Yes, Rovande," Moody said, holding her wand at a chicken leg, as if trying to find out if it had been poisoned, "but she insisted on joining tomorrow morning's mission to escort Potter to King's Cross Station."

"As much as I'm subjectively opposed to adding personal feelings to the mission," Kingsley said in her usual calm voice, "but considering you'll not see each other for a long time, I think her request is a reasonable thing to do."

"Miss Delacour has also proved that she has done her best to separate her personal affairs from her mission," Remus quietly stood by Lawrence's side at some point, "and we all noticed that she didn't divulge any inside information about the Order of the Phoenix to you."

"Anyway, when you graduate, we're all excited about your willingness to join the Order of the Phoenix." "But for now, please enjoy your last year at school."

"I agree with Kingsley that no matter how much time passes," Remus said, "school life will always be one of our most cherished memories."

Lawrence didn't know what kind of expression he was looking on now, but he was probably disappointed, right? He chewed the dishes on his plate, but he couldn't taste them like wax.

He heard Kingsley and Remus talking about why Harry wasn't the Superior, and he saw that Moody had begun to gnaw on the chicken leg with relish, Ron was talking about his newly acquired broomsticks, and the twins were sneaking around on the other side of the road with Montungus for some kind of deal.

But it didn't seem to have anything to do with him, he put down the empty plate and left the kitchen, he went to the second floor, this was the second time he stepped into the living room, it was much worse than the last time he came in, probably because the air was filled with the smell of detergent,

Lawrence looked at the slightly vibrating writing desk, he confirmed what the dark creature was inside, and then waved his wand to release the changeling,

"What a disgusting creature." Lawrence looked at Fleur's corpse on the floor and was about to start chanting the incantation, when a short scream came from behind him, and Mrs. Weasley pulled him back, her lips trembling and her expression frightened,

"It's just a changeling, Mrs. Weasley." Lawrence said that at the same time that Mrs. Weasley was facing the changeling, the changeling turned into Ginny's corpse, and Mrs. Weasley trembled, and she waved her wand, and the changeling turned into Ron's corpse again, and large tears welled up in Mrs. Weasley's eyes.

"Hello?" Harry heard the crying and leaned into the living room, and he froze as soon as he saw Ron's body,

"Funny funny." Mrs. Weasley chanted the incantation again, but she apparently still couldn't think of a picture that would make her not afraid, because the changeling monster collided and changed into Mr. Weasley's appearance, which made Mrs. Weasley cry even more.

With her enchanted spell, the corpses of Fred, George, Percy, Bill, Charry, Lawrence, Harry and others appeared one after another,

"Mrs. Weasley, let's go out first and call someone else—" Harry said loudly, turning his head and asking, "Lawrence?"

"What's going on?" Lupin and Sirius rushed through the door one after the other, they saw the scene in the living room, and immediately understood what was happening, Lupin jumped forward to deal with the changeling that turned into a silver ball, this time he succeeded in destroying the changeling, Mrs. Weasley covered her face with her hands and cried, Lupin hurriedly walked by his side to comfort her,

Lawrence leaves the living room without anyone noticing, but he meets Moody, who doesn't enter the living room.

"What do you see?" Moody asked, but Lawrence didn't answer because they heard her name and Fleur's name in the living room, and Mrs. Weasley's disbelief in the war, and she was worried about the safety of her family.

?

"Looks like changelings didn't affect you too much." Moody asked in a low voice, they heard Lupin emphasize that this war was different from the last one, that the Order of the Phoenix was better prepared and started this time, that they had now been informed of Voldemort's intentions,

"Because I know it's fake." Lawrence replied, and Moody looked at Lawrence with a scrutinizing gaze for a moment,

"Meaning, if you're not sure it's true or not......" Murdy asked, he didn't finish his sentence, but Lawrence could understand what he meant,

"Yes." Lawrence replied in the affirmative, and thus ended the conversation, and Moody limped into the living room, and Lawrence walked upstairs and disappeared into the dark stairwell.
