025 Hermione's proposal
The morning after the Students' Council meeting, early in the morning, Angelina, the captain of Gryffindor Quidditch, screamed angrily, startling the spoons in the hands of many people, and she accused Harry of being punished by Umbridge for another week of labor, which meant that Harry would miss Friday night training for two consecutive weeks.
What's even more frustrating is that Professor McGonagall, who heard the news, made a new disposition, that is, first deducted five points for Angelina, who was screaming, and then five points for Harry, who was served by Umbridge's labor, which made Harry feel even more angry,
Lawrence, Fred and George exchanged a look with each other, the twins had all heard Lawrence say that Umbridge broke into the student council meeting last night, and the news that Umbridge revealed last night, combined with her speech at the opening party when she became a senior investigator, had made them completely alert,
The twins had no intention of attending class all day, and they spent the whole day discussing and deciding that the Christmas break was to convince Mrs. Weasley to let them go home for the holidays, and to look for an opportunity to inspect the shops in Diagon Alley that had not yet been rented out, and that they were to compare all the locations of the shops and rent one of them.
As for Lawrence, he had already decided to return to London for Christmas, and the reason for this needless to say was that almost every night since the beginning of the school year, the twins had watched Lawrence leave the dormitory for a while with a two-way mirror in hand.
And in today's class, none of them saw Umbridge come to "review" the seventh-grade super-labor witch testing class, so they spent a peaceful day,
"But that's not too bad news for us." Fred said this, and they were moving to the hall on the first floor, ready to go to today's dinner,
"You mean Umbridge?" George said a question in the affirmative,
"I've been thinking, George," Fred said thoughtfully, "and it looks like Dumbledore is all about fighting the Mysterio."
"I think you mean that Umbridge will interfere more in Hogwarts affairs," George frowned at Lawrence, and then asked, "Lawrence, what do you think?"
"I think she's already doing that." Lawrence said, and then they flashed to the armor room next to the hallway, as a group of rampaging Gryffindor first-year students ran past them and then noisily walked up the stairs downstairs,
"Gee, you can't climb that staircase like that." George sighed, they didn't have to look that way to know that the staircase was changing the direction it originally led to, and there was a shrill scream from the Gryffindor first-year students above,
"Too young," Fred sighed old-fashionedly, and the three of them turned around and headed downstairs from another staircase that was shifting, "We figured out the temper and patterns of all the stairs in Hogwarts in the course of our battle of wits with Filch."
The three of them ate dinner quite quickly, and when a group of Gryffindor fifth-year students walked into the hall with tired expressions, they were all almost finished, and from the dirt on their robes, Lawrence guessed that their previous class was herbology, and Harry, Ron, and Hermione saw Lawrence and the twins, and slowly came to the empty seats next to them and sat down.
"Whatever you're eating, bring me some." Ron slumped his head on the long table, apparently having lost all their strength from the previous lesson in herbology,
"Let's see if there are any spiders, man," Fred said, feigning enthusiasm, "that thing will replenish your energy."
"I guess I'd better do it myself," Ron said angrily, looking up with difficulty, "I don't want to be in a hospital room while I still have a lot of homework."
"Lawrence, we need help." Hermione didn't sit down, but said to Lawrence, who was well-fed and lazy,
"What?" Lawrence apparently didn't react,
"Umbridge is a terrible teacher, and we can't learn any defenses from her." Hermione said,
"Obviously," George yawned, "it's really creative to have a bunch of students read a textbook to the super-hard witch testing class."
"Even though Lawrence is the president of the boys' council, it's useless for you to look for him, Hermione," Ron replied with rare shrewdness, "even if Dumbledore tried to get her out, Fudge would try to keep her here."
"I mean, if, I mean if...... Let you teach us?" Hermione said in a peculiar tone, and everyone looked straight at Hermione, her face showing the expression she had when she recommended the "Elf Fujin Society" to others,
"If you're going to talk about the scope of the general witch test, we've got all the exam notes left, Hermione." Fred said hesitantly,
"I don't mean the 'boring' thing—" Hermione said a little impatiently, and Harry and Ron on the side both looked ghostly when they heard the word 'boring',
"We're going to—" Ron quickly interrupted Hermione shouting, and then he realized his voice was a bit loud and quickly lowered his voice,
"I mean, we need that note so much, right, Harry?" Ron said, Harry nodding desperately, "It would be nice to have other subjects."
"Oh, shut up." Hermione roared in a vicious tone, Harry and Ron obediently shut their mouths and stopped talking about other things, they knew that Hermione, who was about to lose patience, was unreasonable and unprovoked,
"I probably know what you mean." Lawrence said slowly, "You want to learn the 'real use' Defence Against the Dark Arts technique, right? Like Professor Lupin and fake Moody?"
"yes, I think it's much more important than our exams." Hermione said in a categorical tone, and Harry and Ron let out a sad cry when they heard this, as if they saw the image of the exam notes leaving them, and then they reached out and picked up the food on the table, turning their grief and anger into appetite,
"And you, Harry," Hermione said to Harry, who was full of food, "and I think you're one of the good teachers."
"Me?" Harry was confused,
"There's nothing to doubt, brother," said George, "you did a great job in the Triwizard Tournament last year."
"It's not a shame to lose to Lawrence," Fred added, "and our entire grade is in his shadow."
Lawrence gave Fred a roll of the eye, which was a response to his special "compliment",
"I haven't forgotten that you were able to cast a full Patronus Charm by the time you were in your third year," Hermione said, "and you fought off at least a hundred Dementors."
"In first year, you and Lawrence preserved the Philosopher's Stone from the Mystery." Ron said in awe,
"Listen, I'm lucky that someone has helped me with these things—" Harry said a little loudly,
"Calm down, Harry," Hermione reassured, "but you must admit that your Defence Against the Dark Arts is one of the best of our age."
"How is it possible, your test scores are higher than mine every time." Harry retorted,
"Not so in Professor Lupin's year." Hermione replied calmly, and Harry was speechless, he hadn't forgotten that Hermione had mentioned that Professor McGonagall, the changeling, had frightened Hermione during her final exams, because the changeling told Hermione that she had failed all of her exams.
"Let's let Lawrence come......" Harry muttered, shoving something haphazardly into his mouth, then stood up and said vaguely, "I'm going to Umbridge's Labor Service."
"You should consider my suggestion, Lawrence, too." Hermione pleaded,
"I'll think about it," Lawrence replied quietly, "but I might be a little busy lately."
"What are you up to?" George asked, confused, "Are you busy chatting with Miss Delacour's two-way mirror at night?"
"A lot of things, George," Lawrence rubbed his eyebrows, he knew he should go to Snape to ask questions and find out how much Umbridge had infiltrated the student council meeting, "Ron, Hermione, you'd better attend the next prefect meeting."
