008 The Weasley Twins' Heavy Schoolwork
The next morning, when Lawrence unfolded today's Daily Prophet, the twins were still trying to bring the conversation back to yesterday's letter.
"So, what exactly is in the letter?" Fred asked, holding a plate of fried eggs,
"I said it yesterday in the dorm, it's just some schoolwork problems." Lawrence flipped through the newspaper and replied, "Don't you see that the letter is so thick?"
"Really?" George suspected,
"My wand keeps me from doing anything against my heart." Lawrence bit the bacon and replied,
"So lying is against our hearts?" Fred was surprised,
"Actually, I guess we're still going to have some guilt—right?" George said with some uncertainty,
"It's better to look at this than care about me." Lawrence pointed to the newspaper, "Some Muggles have seen Blake, and it's not far from here."
"Coincidence, huh? I don't think he's so stupid—" said George, "Hogwarts is the safest place in the world."
"How do I think you're diverting the subject?" Fred asked keenly, but Lawrence ignored him and began to spread jam on his bread,
"Forget it, let's pray that the next classes will go as smoothly as yesterday." George said,
But good luck obviously did not continue to favor the twins, and even Professor Barburing, who teaches ancient magic literature and has always been kind, constantly emphasizes the importance of o.w.L.,
"Some of the students in our class are now unable to translate even a complete passage of ancient script, even though in the eyes of some people it has been boring and tedious until now," Professor Babling said earnestly, "but in reality, all of them are extremely good wizards who can apply them flexibly to spell casting, and this course is very profound and never-ending, and your achievements in magic scripts are likely to surpass mine, in fact, I must admit that there is one classmate who I can no longer teach him."
"I'm pretty sure the professor was talking about you," Fred asked, somewhat puzzled, after the class, "but you never said anything out of the ordinary in class."
"Well, I think that's why—" Lawrence pulled out his wand and tapped it in the air, Fred blinked, and he saw Lawrence's right hand holding the staff, and several ancient magic words flashed,
"Is this the spell you just cast?" Fred pointed to Lawrence's right hand and asked curiously,
"No, I just cast a spell on you." Lawrence said, and clicked a few times on George, this time Fred saw clearly, an ancient magic text was placed on George, and George also looked at Lawrence's right hand and expressed puzzlement,
"I've cast two spells on you, one is mannz for 'people,' which also means to get some support or cooperation to solve problems, and Kenaz for 'fire,' which also means 'power,' 'ability,' and also portends 'on,'" Lawrence said, "Now the question is, what can you think of when a man gets fire?"
"Heating?" George said, but he shook his head again, "It doesn't seem right."
"That doesn't explain why we can see the hidden script." Fred agreed with George,
"In fact, the magic composed of ancient magic scripts is very flexible, and the power displayed depends on the user's interpretation at the time," Lawrence laughed, "Actually, what I was thinking about was 'dispelling the darkness' which means 'seeing the truth', and through the cooperation of Mannz and Kenaz, the problem was solved, so Fred could see the magic script that was working in my right hand."
"But you didn't seem to have done these two to George?" Fred asked, somewhat uncertain, "Does that seem like a Perdhro?"
"Perdhro means 'mysterious', like magic, and it also means 'hidden' or 'secret', and it also means that the owner can use its power to solve problems, so that George can see the magic script on my right hand." Lawrence explains,
"If they're so powerful, why isn't it mandatory?" George asked, puzzled,
"Because in fact, the magic power of the magic of the magic of the magic of the magic text depends on the interpretation of the user, which leads to the same composition, there are kaleidoscopic interpretations, and the power and function may be very different, just like now, the power of the magic text in you has disappeared?" Lawrence said, the twins nodded, "Too far away explanations can also cause failure, and completely wrong explanations will lead to disaster, so when the 'standard spells' are invented one by one, the ancient magic texts are not taken so seriously, but you will find that there are some spells that are still mixed with ancient magic texts, the most famous is the 'Unforgiving Spell'."
"Then why do we still have to take this course?" Fred asked,
"Because as restrictive as it is, it's very effective at casting all kinds of offensive or defensive spells," Lawrence said, "and you'll have to dig deeper in the future, and your product must have a special set of anti-decryption spells to counter the effects of other spells on the product, otherwise the product can be easily cracked." (Note 1)
"Okay." "It means we need to do one more thing," George said bitterly.
"And what does the magic text on your right hand represent?" Fred asked curiously,
"It strengthens my connection to my wand," Lawrence explains, "and if I lose my wand, I can sense its position and do something about it."
"What's the structure of your head?" Fred feigned sadness and asked, "Monster—"
"I think we're going to hurry up and have lunch," George suggested, "and I'll need plenty of food to resist the metamorphosis of the afternoon."
"Even Professor Babling has given us a bunch of homework," Fred said pessimistically, "what else can we expect?"
In fact, he guessed correctly, the following week, Professor McGonagall did a lot of spell practice and homework, and Professor Flitwick did the same, not only them, but Professor Sprout's herbalism had more observations in the greenhouse, which made them have to take time out of their spare time to come to the greenhouse every Sunday in the future.
Professor Binns the Ghost has tripled the length of his History of Magic assignments, and Professor Sinista has added a record report of his observations to astronomy, suggesting that even their usual holiday leisure time may have become a luxury.
"I've seen your progress, and I must be serious about saying that you're lagging behind in your progress against dark magic creatures, and so are defensive spells, but I've read the report and I know it's not your problem." Remus. Lupin said gently, "Next, I will try my best to catch up with the class so that you will have the knowledge absolutely necessary when you attend the o.w.L."
In the following lessons, Professor Lupin put vivid photos detailing common dark magic creatures and appropriate ways to deal with them.
"I won't give you too much homework," Professor Lupin said with a smile, his words eliciting a burst of cheers, and he looked at the students gently until everyone was quiet, "but I ask you, you must go back and seriously review what I teach, we don't have much time, and I hope that in that exam in June, everyone will get the desired results."
"I think we're pretty lucky." After class, Fred smiled and said, "I really don't know how their Defence Against the Dark Arts o.w.L prepared last year? Rely on that Lockhart?"
"If only the other professors were like Professor Lupin," said George sullenly, "I feel that he has the most normal amount of homework so far."
After the Hippogriff, Hagrid seems to have lost his confidence, and now he only dares to teach them creatures like the Tree Guard, a creature that guards trees, and in order to prevent the students from destroying the trees, Hagrid even asks the students to stay at least two steps away from the trees.
"Compared to the Flober Caterpillar, I think the attack power of the Tree Protector Cauldron is amazing." At dinner, Lawrence sarcastically said that the Flober caterpillars were completely incapable of attacking, and that they didn't even have teeth.
"I agree with you—" Fred and George quickly added food to their plates, they had to rush the reports tonight.

And as September came to an end, the twins were even busier in October, with three practice days a week to win the Quidditch Cup, the weather getting colder and colder, and the incessant wind and rain kept the course muddy. Wood was even more determined to step up his training.
"As long as we train firmly, we will definitely be able to beat other teams." At one of the breakfast hours, Oliver was optimistic, and then he got up to get the food.
"I just looked at the bulletin board, Halloween is the first holiday of the year to Hogsmeade." George lamented,
"I heard Ron say that Harry can't go." Fred said, "I'm wondering if I'd like to give the map to Harry, what do you say, Lawrence?"
"I'd love to, too, but I've been sure last year—" Lawrence frowned, lowering his voice, "Harry's father was one of the mapmakers, and the Minister told me that it was the day Harry stayed in the Leaky Cauldron, and the Minister mentioned Sirius. Blake was friends with Harry's father."
"You mean that Black might know about the map?" George frowned, "That's not good news."
"But Blake wouldn't be stupid enough to break into Hogwarts, would he?" Fred asked uneasily, clearly remembering the report at the beginning of the semester,
"In fact, the minister also said that Blake's target might be Harry." Lawrence said,
"Did you tell Harry about that?" George asked,
"No, I told Harry that if he really wanted to know, come to me." Lawrence replied, and the twins looked at each other without speaking, "But Harry hasn't been here until now."
"Alright then, when Black is caught, you're giving the map to Harry." Fred said,
"No problem." Lawrence nodded, and at this time an owl threw a letter to Lawrence, the waterproof brown paper bag was familiar to all three of them, and Lawrence would receive one such letter in about two weeks,
"Oops!" George nodded, and he asked in a sinister tone, "You're here to ask a question again, aren't you?"
"I'm glad you can still be interested in my gossip in your heavy schoolwork." Lawrence tucked the letter into his bag, "But I think we should go to class."
"Why do I think you're diverting the subject again?" Fred asked with a smile, but they got up anyway, ready to go to class.

Author's Note: Just take a look at the ancient magic text, theoretically it won't appear too many times in the future, and it's the time of the "standard spell" now.
Note 1: For example, fireworks developed by the Weasley brothers will increase tenfold when using the Vanishing Charm.
