027 Snape Tells the Story
The situation in the room was a little delicate, and as Lawrence quietly took a step back to the door, Snape's dark gaze moved to him,
"Sit down, Rovander." Snape waved his hand and added another chair to his desk,
Lawrence could only sit down, he knew that staring at Snape was not a good choice at this time, so he pretended to be very interested to observe the teapot that was burning on the desk, he smelled the light smoke coming from the teapot spout, so he had a little idea of the tea that was brewing in the teapot,
"Bump." A loud clatter of wood sounded, Lawrence intuitively looked in the direction of the sound, and found that Selwyn was trying to open a locked cupboard, and after failing to do so, he didn't care, but replaced it with another one,
"It's just a bit monotonous, so let's find ingredients to cook together, Professor." Selwyn explained as he rummaged through the cupboards, and Lawrence secretly prayed that the contents of Snape's cupboard would be normal.
After a while, Selwyn seemed to have found what she was looking for, so she returned to her desk, Lawrence glanced curiously, and then breathed a sigh of relief, Selwyn had brought back a piece of aloe vera, judging by the silver blade in her hand that was still stained with aloe vera slime, she had removed a small piece from the end of a whole aloe vera leaf,
"What kind of combination is this?" Snape frowned,
"It's for you, Professor." Selwyn replied, and she raised her silver blade to neatly remove the green leaves and remove the white, slightly transparent flesh.
"It can make you look better," Selwyn said, as she washed the flesh of the aloe vera, cut them into small pieces, lifted the teapot lid, and put it in, "I noticed that this semester, the professor often leaves school on weekends, is he going to meet someone?"
"It's none of your business." Snape's voice sounded like a cold wind,
Lawrence took the risk of peeking at Snape's somewhat sallow face today, and then he was surprised to find that Snape was also staring at him with a distorted face,
Lawrence paused, and with a 'it's none of my business', they stared at each other until Selwyn extinguished the flame at the bottom of the teapot.
She poured the brewed hot tea into the prepared teacup and pushed it in front of Lawrence and Snape, it was a cup of yarrow tea with a little aloe vera, it was a strange combination, but it smelled good,
"Yarrow tea might taste a little spicy," Selwyn magically pulled out three small jars,
"So add a little sweetness, it tastes better."
"Hawthorn, apricot fruit, honey," Selwyn said, introducing the three different sources of sweetness, "Rovande?"
"Honey." Lawrence replied without thinking, and a smile tugged at the corner of Selwyn's mouth, and he handed Lawrence the small jar of honey to Lawrence,
"Hawthorn helps with weight loss, and I need it so much, the professor won't want to take it from me, right?" Selwyn asked, then shoved the jar of apricot nectar in front of Snape,
Finally, she sat down in the chair on Lawrence's left, and she added the bright red hawthorn candy to her teacup, holding a small teaspoon and stirring it slowly.
Lawrence sipped hot tea mixed with honey, I have to say that this feeling was good, the only thing that was not harmonious was that he had to sit in front of Snape with a black face, and Snape did not move the drink in front of him at all,
"After this cup of tea, you can go out, Selwyn, you have delayed the time of Rovander's labor service," Snape said coldly, "and at this time, you should spend the weekend in Hogsmeade with your friends."
"You should be outside of school at this point in time...... Spend the weekend, Professor." Selwyn said ominously, and she took a sip of the teacup elegantly,
"I don't understand what you're talking about." Snape said, then he paused, a dangerous glint in his eyes, "If you don't leave, I'll ask Filch to find something for you to do."
"Oh, what a pity." Selwyn sighed, holding the still smoking teacup, pushed open her chair and walked away towards the already open office door, leaving only the faint smell of tea in the air,
The door of the office slammed shut, and the cold atmosphere covered the whole office again, and the teacups and teapots on the table were no longer steaming, and Snape looked at the jar of apricot honey, but the focus of his eyes was clearly not there.
?
"The Headmaster has authorized me to tell you something," Snape said in a slow tone, "I'll tell you information that the other Order of the Phoenix doesn't know, andβ"
"As I speak, I advise you not to interrupt me." Snape looked up and squinted at Lawrence,
"I don't really know what Dumbledore is talking about," Snape subconsciously stroked his left arm, "It's a plan around a 'prophecy.'"
There was a click, and from the locked cupboard, a stone basin carved with a mysterious mark flew out and came to the desk, and Snape took out a glass bottle with a few strands of silver silk thread from his pocket,
"And Dumbledore heard that prophecy." Snape tugged at the threads of memory with his wand, tossed them into the meditation basin, and tapped the edge of the stone basin,
A woman in a long shawl emerged from the stone basin, her body slowly spinning, her eyes behind her glasses enlarged in astonishment, and although Lawrence had not studied divination, she recognized the Sybil. Professor Trelawney, a low, rough, hoarse tone slowly drifted into Lawrence's ears,
"The one who has the power to destroy the Dark Lord......
"Will be born to parents who have resisted him three times...... Born at the time of the disappearance of the seventh month......
"The Dark Lord will take the initiative to mark him as an equal mortal enemy....... But he will have powers unknown to the Dark Lord......
"The two cannot coexist...... and shall die at the hand of another......
"Possession of the ...... of Destruction"
As Professor Trelawney sank into the meditation basin in a slow spin, Snape's lifeless eyes moved,
"I've heard the prophecy too," Snape said slowly, "but I've only heard the previous part, and I've only heard the prophesied man, who will be born at the end of July......
"I told the Dark Lord about this prophecy." Snape said, meeting Lawrence's shocked and puzzled gaze, "This is where it all began."
"I didn't have a good relationship with Potter at school, and we had a lot of conflicts." Snape's expression twisted slightly, and Lawrence blinked, only to realize that this Potter was referring to Harry's father, James. porter
"Even though he was only afraid of being condemned by his conscience, there is no denying that he saved my life." Snape looked hateful, and it was clear that this was very difficult for him to accept,
"Didn't Blake and Lupin tell you?" Snape looked at Lawrence and mocked, "When I was a student, Blake lured me into meeting Lupin, who had turned into a werewolf, and there was no wolf poison potion at that time." (Note 1)
"Jaime. Potter saved you?" Lawrence finally couldn't help but ask,
"Yes, people always have too much praise for him," Snape sarcastically said, but his voice grew quieter, "but in reality he was just a shameless coward, only for fear of the condemnation of his own conscience......
"And you, Professor," Lawrence said slowly, "did you decide to protect their son because you had killed the Potters and were condemned by your conscience?"
There was a dead silence, and then a rare hint of relief appeared in Snape's eyes,
"yes," Snape said softly, "yes, Rovander." (Note 2)
