007 Christmas Holidays Part I

"We can't go home this Christmas, Lawrence." Fred said listlessly,

"Mom and Dad are going to Romania to visit Charlie." George feigned sadness and said, "We were abandoned."

"The question now is how do we find a way to make a Muggle bomb." Fred said that their original plan was for the trio to return to the Burrow together for Christmas - the twins had no doubt that Mrs. Weasley would invite Lawrence to celebrate the holidays, and then they would be able to go to the Muggle bookstore to find out how to make bombs in the name of shopping.

"Otherwise, I'll have to go back?" Lawrence said,

"That won't work, Lawrence." George replied,

"Then you're going to be in the orphanage for a few days." Fred said seriously,

"It's okay, there's nothing bad there, it's just boring." Lawrence said so, but the twins still stood by their opinion,

"We can't be the only ones here to enjoy the results." Fred said firmly,

"Okay, what do you say you should do?" Lawrence asked,

"I think we should go to the library?" George was not so sure, so the three of them walked to the library and found Hermione, who was carefully looking at the materials, and Ron was buried in the stacks of books.

"We'd like to ask you a little favor, Hermione." Fred said,

"After we thought about it, we realized that you were the only one who could help us with this." George said with some flattery,

"Huh?" Hermione didn't lift her head, and was quickly flipping through a heavy brick book,

"We thought, next week's Christmas, maybe you'll go home for the holidays?" Lawrence knocked on the side,

"What are you going to do?" Hermione looked up vigilantly, looking at them defensively,

"We'd like to ask you to help us look up some information." George noticed Hermione's face and said cautiously, "About something called explosives."

"Oh! No...... I mean, never." Hermione realized that her voice was a little loud, and quickly lowered her voice, she didn't want to be kicked out by Mrs. Pince,

"Don't do that, Hermione." Fred persuaded,

"We promise to only use it in the boys' restroom." George said this, and Ron snickered on the sidelines,

"No, that's stupid." Hermione was unmoved, and Lawrence noticed the list of books on the table,

"The Great Sorcerers of the Twentieth Century", "Famous Magicians of the Age", "Important Discoveries of Modern Magic", "A Study on the Development of Modern Magic"?" Lawrence raised an eyebrow as he read it, the books had been crossed off the list, "Do you want to be a researcher in the history of magic?"

"Oh, thank you, Harry." Hermione retorted, and Harry placed a stack of books to Hermione's right, apparently waiting to be flipped, "just looking for something."

"Maybe you should ask Lawrence?" George provides advice,

"Oh!" Hermione looked up abruptly and said with some chagrin, "Why didn't we expect that?"

Ron abruptly looked up from the stack of books, and Harry looked at Lawrence expectantly,

"We're looking for information about Nicol. Le May's business." Hermione said,

"How did you know that?" Lawrence asked with some curiosity,

"It's Hagrid, we went to Hagrid's hut for tea after the Quidditch match that day, and he accidentally slipped his mouth." Ron answered on the sidelines,

"That won't work, Hermione." Lawrence said, "I must say, even if you read all the books on this, you won't find Nicol. Lemay's record."

"How is that possible?" Hermione frowned and asked, "All the records of modern magic are here."

"Oh! That's going to be a charge, miss." George saw that Lawrence was about to open his mouth to answer, and quickly interrupted them,

"Infinite wisdom is the most precious treasure of mankind." Fred sang,

"Oh, don't be stupid, it's different, and we're not trying to do bad things with this." Hermione said with some annoyance,

"But I know it's certainly not a good thing." Fred said,

"I guess it's just a little secret that you discovered by staying awake in the middle of the night and 'Night Travel'?" George deliberately emphasized the word "night out," "but we don't care about it, you know?"

Hermione's brows furrowed together, and her heart was at war,

"yes, Hermione, tell Lawrence they're not going to do anything." Harry said,

"That said, at most, we'll go to the toilet and go back to Gryffindotta." Ron grinned,

"Oh, I think I must be crazy, okay." Hermione said viciously, "I'll check it out when I get home at Christmas, can you tell us now?"

"I guess I'll go get you that book." Lawrence smiled and said, "You should understand after reading it."

Lawrence walked to a bookshelf and shook around, then frowned again to Mrs. Pince, and finally he went to the old newspaper section to pick up a newspaper and walked back.

"Are you sure you didn't want to blow up the toilet yourself?" Lawrence looked at Hermione with a strange expression,

"How could I want to do such a stupid thing?" Hermione said impatiently,

"Mrs. Pince said you borrowed the book a few weeks ago." Lawrence said, Hermione was stunned for a moment, and then seemed to understand something,

"Look at this newspaper, it's the newspaper before school started." Lawrence will write that by Nicol. Lemay's report was handed to them,

"It's crazy, why would they kill themselves?" Ron asked incredulously,

"It's not suicide, Ron, it's death." Hermione corrected,

"What is the Philosopher's Stone?" Harry asked,

"A mysterious object with powerful magical powers, famously used to turn stones into gold, even to make peopleβ€”" Lawrence said briefly, "immortality."

"Why do people have to die?" Harry couldn't understand,

"How rich does this be?" Ron exclaimed, too,

"We can't always understand what smart people think." George said in a brisk tone, squinting at Lawrence who was rolling his eyes on the side,

"Remember what you promised, Hermione." Fred reminded the trio to leave the library.

A few days later, the holidays began, and on Christmas Day, Lawrence woke up to a pile of gift packages at the foot of the bed, and one of the delicate little boxes caught his attention,

"Ah, Merry Christmas, fellow." George said to him with sleepy eyes,

"Merry Christmas." Fred sat up from the bed,

"Merry Christmas." Lawrence blocked the small box with other gifts, he had a feeling that it would not be wise to open the small box in front of Fred and George, and he opened Mrs. Weasley's large package first,

"Oh, the sweater." Lawrence said, then slipped his sky-blue sweater onto his body, "and gummies."

"Of course, it happens every year, doesn't it?" Fred said that his sweater with George was dark blue, embroidered with F and G, respectively.

"Would Lawrence recognize the wrong person if we swapped clothes?" George asked Fred,

"No, it won't." Lawrence affirmed, "Do you have any plans for tonight?"

"Find an open place to **." George said,

"And a place where you can test the power of explosives." Fred added,

"The soundproofing is a little better." Lawrence rubbed his ears, the whisper hadn't been heard for a long time, and he was a little unaccustomed to it, and he lay lazily on the bed, eating the gummies that Mrs. Weasley had given him,

"Shall we go to Ron and Harry, come along, Lawrence?" Fred asked,

Lawrence shook his head, and the twins didn't insist, leaving the dormitory to find Harry and Ron, Lawrence took out the small box and opened it.

Inside was a small tube of wax-sealed hazel liquid and a note with thin, round handwriting that read:

"I think you'll have a chance to use it this year, Merry Christmas."

Author's words: I went out early in the morning, and now I'm home, and I'm going out again... If you have time to go home in the evening, there will be a watch.

I guess you know what that potion does, right?
