011 Impartial refereeing
"Where's Gabrielle?" Fleur sat down at Gryffindor's table and looked around,
"I think they're all sitting at the Ravenclaw table." Lawrence pointed to the group of Beauxbatons students,
"I want to bring her over—" Fleur was about to get up when the twins interrupted,
"Let's go," Fred said briskly, "Who's Gabrielle?"
"She's my sister, and she probably wears a headscarf," Fleur seemed suspicious, "and she's scared—"
"I think we can do it." George said happily as he and Fred rushed to the Ravenclaw table, and Lawrence suspected that they were just trying to get to know the girls of Beauxbatons.
Their actions were apparently going well, and in a few moments they were able to bring back a little girl with silver hair, and along with them came Luna, Fred and George's hair was constantly changing color,
"Luna helped us a little." George smirked, "The prank candy made her let her down her guard against us."
"Don't you think your image has become 'a strange uncle who seduces a little girl with candy'?" Lawrence raised an eyebrow,
"It's kind of like that, indeed." Luna told the truth, Fleur and Gabrielle were talking quickly in French at this time,
"I think Gabrielle will be a little uneasy to get to her new environment, thank you for chatting with her," Fleur looked at Luna with interest, "Gabrielle said you know French."
"Oh, I taught myself last year." Luna said,
"Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, ghosts—especially distinguished guests," Dunbury looked at every student in the hall with a smile, "I very much welcome you to Hogwarts, and I hope and believe that you will all be comfortable and happy here—"
Fleur let out a burst of laughter like silver bells, making the absent-minded boys around her show dreamy expressions one by one, which made Hermione on the side let out an impatient "tsk" sound,
"The tournament will officially begin after the dinner," said Dunbulido, "and everyone will eat and drink as if they were at home."
Dunbulidor sat down, Karkaroff leaned forward to talk to him, and the golden plate on the table appeared out of thin air with all kinds of dishes, many of which were obviously not British,
"What's that?" Ron pointed to a dish full of seafood on the table,
"Fish soup," Hermione replied, "French food, I had on vacation last year, and it was delicious."
"Well, I believe you—" Ron said, but he looked down and began to eat another serving of pudding,
"I'm sorry," Fleur said, "can I pass me the soup?"
Ron looked up, his face flushed and his mouth open to answer, but he couldn't say a word except for a faint grunt,
"Oh, okay." Harry said,
"Have you eaten it?" Fleur asked,
"yes," Ron replied, gasping, and Hermione let out a disgruntled "tsk," "It's delicious."
Fleur took the plate of barely touched fish soup handed over by Harry with some confusion, and after a while, a few new dishes were served, Ron deliberately moved a plate of pale white pudding to a prominent position, but Fleur obviously didn't plan to eat much, she had already put down her knife and fork, ignoring the twins' strange questions, she noticed that Gabrielle was chatting happily with Luna, so she turned to talk to Lawrence,
At this time, the dishes on the table were swept away, Deng Bulido stood up again, the hall was filled with a tense atmosphere, everyone was excited, everyone wanted to know what would happen next, Fred and George leaned forward, staring intently at Deng Bulido,
"I think it's time," Deng Bulido smiled, "The Triwizard Tournament is about to begin, and before we bring the boxes in, I'll explain the rules for this year—"
"But first, I must introduce two guests, who may not know them, and this is Barty. Mr. Crouch, Director of International Cooperation at the Ministry of Magic," the hall erupted in sparse applause,
"This is Ludo. Mr. Bagman, Director of the Department of Physical Education at the Ministry of Magic." Bagman received much louder applause than Mr. Crouch, perhaps because he had a reputation as a batsman, or perhaps because he was more likable.
Bagman waved happily in thanks, and when Barty Crouch's name was introduced just now, Crouch neither smiled nor waved, still with that serious and rigid appearance,
"Over the past few months, Mr. Crouch and Mr. Bagman have worked tirelessly to arrange the Triwizard Tournament," Dumbledore continued, "and they will form a panel of judges with me, Professor Karkaroff, and Madame Maxime to rate the Warriors' performance."
At the mention of 'Warriors', the students became more attentive, and the hall fell silent, and the atmosphere of tension and excitement reached its highest point, and Dumbledore seemed to notice it, and he smiled slightly and said, "Mr. Filch, please bring the box."
Filch came out of the shadow in the corner of the hall, and he was holding a chest with jewels, which looked very old,
"This year's Triwizard Tournament has been carefully vetted by Mr. Crouch and Mr. Bagman," Dumbledore said, and Filch carefully placed the box on the table in front of him, "There are three events, each with many necessary arrangements, to be held at different times throughout the school year, and we will test each warrior in different ways, not only in terms of their talents in magic, their courage and their ability to reason logically—and, of course, their ability to overcome danger."
At the last word, the hall fell silent,
"Everyone knows that there will be three Warriors in the tournament," Dumbledore said calmly, "Each Warrior will represent a school and they will be graded based on their performance in each event, and at the end of the three events, the Warrior with the highest score will win the Triwizard Trophy, and the Champion will be selected by an impartial referee, the Goblet of Fire."
Dumbledore pulled out his wand and tapped it three times on the lid of the box, from which Dunbulidor pulled out a very rough wooden goblet, the cup itself was not at all inconspicuous, everyone was attracted by the dancing blue and white flames, but Lawrence knew that the humble cup itself was the most remarkable magic product,
"Students who want to become Warriors must write their names and schools on a piece of parchment and throw them into the Flame Cup," Dumbledore said, "Students who want to become Warriors can sign up within twenty-four hours, and tomorrow night, after the Halloween dinner, the Flame Cup will select the three Warriors it thinks will best represent the three schools, and from tonight, the Flame Cup will be placed in the Great Hall."
"There will be an age-limiting line drawn around the Flame Cup, and I will cast the spell myself, and no one under the age of seventeen will be able to cross that line." Dumbledore said, looking at the eager twins, "Finally, I'd like to remind you—"
"This tournament is not something that can be participated in casually, once he or she is chosen by the Flame Cup, he or she, must carry out the tournament to the end, because putting the name in the cup will naturally form a binding magic contract, and once you become a warrior, you can't change your mind," Deng Bulido looked at the group of talkative seventh graders, "Therefore, before throwing the name into the cup, you must think clearly about whether you are really wholeheartedly ready to fight for it, okay, I think it is time for everyone to rest, good night everyone."
"An age limit?" Fred raised an eyebrow, "Sounds like if we fooled it, we could enter the competition."
"Even if you cross the limit, you can't compete against Lawrence." Fleur shook her hair haughtily, as if she had heard something ridiculous, Ginny and Luna glanced at each other, and Ginny began to laugh deliciously,
"Oh," George joked, "maybe we'll knock him out and make him unable to compete."
"You'd better mind yourself, the Flame Cup won't necessarily pick you, right?" Hermione said,
"I'll be chosen, let's go, Gabrielle, and we'll go back to the carriage," Fleur said, smiling at Lawrence, "Good night, Lawrence."
"Lawrence, good night." George deliberately repeated her words, making Lawrence eager to reward him with a curse,
"What a proud girl, isn't she?" Fred said,
"It's just pretty," Hermione said, "boy—"
"But maybe she's right?" George raised an eyebrow, "I mean, would you prefer Diggory with Hitch to be a Warrior?"
"That idiot is going to be a Hogwarts Warrior?" Ron frowned, "Why do so many people say that?"
"We've talked about it before, he's not an idiot, and you can't just say that about him just because he won a Quidditch match." Hermione said, "He's a prefect, and he's the president of this class—" (Note 1)
"Isn't it because he's handsome?" Ron muttered, "A little white face."
"I'm not going to support him just because he's handsome," Hermione said indignantly, "I'm not like some people who are stunned at the sight of pretty girls."
"So who do you support?" Fred asked in a narrow tone, "Are we preparing to try to cross the limit—?"
"—The handsome Hufflepuff prefect who is also the male student president?" George raised an eyebrow, "Or Lawrence?"
"Oh," Hermione blushed slightly, "of course I'm in favor of Lawrence—"
"That's fine," Fred said, "means we're on the same side as Miss Delacour, right?"
"Why didn't the team move?" George frowned, and they saw Durmstran's students staring at the scar on Harry's head,
"That's right, Harry. Potter." Moody walked over with a "knock knock", and Karkaroff's face changed drastically,
"You—" Karkaroff glared at Moody, his expression mixed with anger and fear,
"What's wrong with me?" Moody said, "If you don't have anything else to say, get out of the way, you're in the way, Karkaroff."
Lawrence narrowed his eyes, he remembered the record of the trial, Igor . Karkaroff, who was one of the Death Eaters arrested by Mad Eye Moody, was in conflict with the then head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, Barty. Was it just a coincidence that Crouch came to an agreement and was released, and that all three people with special ties came to Hogwarts?

Author's Note:
Ah Li, in fact, no matter who is the heroine, the protagonist's trip will only set off alone.
Then I made a mistake, Fleur's hair seems to be silver and not gold, which has been corrected earlier, to say that it seems to be blonde in the movie? Forget it, maybe it's the blonde hair that glows silver? It's complicated...... I'll fix it later.
I'm going to catch up with class, and I'm already late for this chapter.
Note 1: In the original book, Diggory was only a prefect, but I guess it was because Diggory would become a warrior and it would be very busy, so I didn't make him the student council president, otherwise the student council president was usually the best student in that class.
