Volume 1 Self-cultivation Chapter 20 The Importance of Meditation

To understand the word life, it is better to read the 10,000-volume Danjing.

The double cultivation of life is the Dan Dao.

After getting the reply from her father, Wang Yaner was also noncommittal. Qin Wudao finally got his wish and started the retreat, no one could disturb Qin Wudao unless they encountered something very important, all they had to do was to protect Qin Wudao.

In the secret room, Qin Wudao lit a large plate of ambergris incense produced from the seven-grade demon beast Blue Electric Tyrannosaurus Rex, this incense was extremely precious, and after an adult Blue Electric Tyrannosaurus Rex was killed, he also took out a little bit of spice the size of his fist.

This incense has the effect of refreshing the mind and calming the mind. It is a necessary thing for big people to break through, and without a strong force behind it and no strong financial support can not afford to use this spice.

The plate that Qin Wudao casually lit was enough to produce at least two blue electric Tyrannosaurus Rex. And this plate can only burn for about four hours.

Qin Wudao picked up another bottle of Dan Dao, this Dan is just the outside of the Dan bottle, all of which are exquisitely crafted and exquisite, and the Dan bottle is hollowed out by skilled craftsmen, only a thin layer of bottle skin is left so that the medicinal power of the pill will not be lost, and the extremely thin Dan bottle is carved, and you can faintly see a blood-red and translucent pill the size of a dragon's eye inside.

Of course, it is not necessary to buy and return the pearls, the pill bottles are so gorgeous, and the pills in them are naturally precious and incomparably valuable.

This pill is called Qingshen Dan, as the name suggests, it has the same effect of clearing the mind as the ambergris.

Qin Wudao's cultivation configuration was unimaginable to ordinary people who counterattacked the flow of waste firewood.

This was still used by Qin Wudao before he awakened the Heavenly Root, and it was really good to enjoy the shade with his back against the big tree.

Qin Wudao renamed this blood-red and translucent Qingshen Pill as Blood Bodhi, anyway, he called it that, to satisfy the bad taste.

Qin Wudao's face was heavy, and he slowly swallowed this cottage blood Bodhi, and said something like "Nie Feng, Bu Jingyun" in his mouth, hoping to increase Yijiazi's strength.

Of course, this is impossible, and as an authentic time-traveling person, it is forgivable to have a brain cramp once in a while.

After Qin Wudao finished these auxiliary preparations, he calmed down for a moment and officially began to meditate.

Of course, there is a lot of emphasis on meditation, not dry sitting. Now most of the monks and Taoists on the earth are just sitting and deceiving themselves. First, if there is no practice method, it will naturally not produce Qi. When I sat down the second time, I didn't pay attention to it, thinking that I could enter the Tao by reciting Buddhist scriptures silently, but I was lying to myself. Instead, he sat on the herniated lumbar disc and hemorrhoids.

So meditation is very particular.

First of all, we must pay attention to our posture! First of all, we must understand our body bones, which is our true nature.

In fact, the human bone is like this, and the back bone is like this. To learn to meditate, you have to study every joint. Only when people settle down can they be fast, and only then will they be faster, more and more efficient.

If you are a Buddhist, you will find that when you look at the Buddha statues made by Tibetan Tantric Buddhism, as well as the ancient paintings of the Sui and Tang dynasties, the Buddha statues painted are very beautiful, all of them are the same as the aesthetics of modern people.

After the Song Dynasty, the Buddha statues painted were all old and decayed, with a big belly and shrunken shoulders, and they sat up, as if they were holding a watermelon to sell on the street, and holding a big belly, which was actually not possible!

So the real Buddha statue is quite good. Painting an old monk who has entered the meditation, the back is bent up, and the bottom is upturned, the more beautiful it is, and Chinese painting is called beautiful, which is fundamentally against the principle and the law of nature.

The Buddha statue made by Tantra must have a straight chest and a thin waist, which is very solemn. It's not like ordinary people sitting there, holding a watermelon, not eating it for many years, and sitting in the wrong position, so you have to change it.

This is the principle of cultivating the 'white bone view' in Buddhism, and when you look at the real single Buddha statue and double cultivation Buddha statue in Tibetan Tantra, there is a skeleton stepping on one foot below.

Ordinary people can repair the White Bone Concept, and in other words, people's qi and physical energy can be transformed.

Tantra says, "Zen Buddhism says that when you are enlightened, you put down the butcher's knife and immediately become a Buddha. May I ask you, enlightened, have the qi veins been opened?" Zen Buddhism doesn't care about the qi veins, Tantra and Taoism are very responsible for the body, he said that if the qi veins are not opened, the body can't be adjusted, you say that you have the Tao, this Tao has no reason, don't admit it.

When Qin Wudao was on the earth, he also laughed at Tantra and Taoism, and he also took his physiognomy too seriously! But it can't be said that there is no reason, both sides have reasons, and Buddhism is also a dialectical thought.

The difference in the direction of cultivation also leads to the difference in thinking, resulting in the emergence of several sects within a sect. Of course, it's all for detachment, but there are some minor differences between the various denominations.

Therefore, Buddhism and Taoism also emphasize common ground while reserving differences, one country has two rules, and even one country has more than ten rules.

The posture of meditation needs to be corrected, and this is one of the particularities.

At the beginning of meditation, it is mainly about one environment and three conditionings.

First of all, choose an environment that is conducive to calm, if you meditate in a room, the light in the room should be moderately bright, the air should be smooth, and the temperature should be moderate.

For outdoor zazen, choose a secluded place to avoid being disturbed by accidents.

This is the practice of primary meditation skills, so it is not the same thing as the Zen Buddhism advocated "living in the city, without the noise of cars and horses", so the necessary environmental conditions are still needed.

Qin Wudao sent everyone away, not to disturb himself, and then burned incense and served pills, which is the principle of this environment.

Then there is the "three tones".

First Adjustment:

The posture of sitting should be upright and natural. The lower forehead is introverted, the chest is tucked in the abdomen, and the shoulders and hips are vertically up and down.

It is best to sit on your legs, if you can't cross the legs, let alone avoid strength, to avoid leg pain is not conducive to sitting for a long time.

However, it is easy to make the body lean back and lose the center of gravity, so a thin pillow should be used under the buttocks when the disc is scattered, which is conducive to the balance of the body.

Especially in winter, when meditating, be sure to wrap your knee joints in a blanket or the like, because when your knees are bent inward, the acupuncture points outside the kneecaps (touching the depression with your hands) are open, and it is easy to get into the cool air and cause rheumatism.

In addition, it is especially important to remind that if you meditate with a double plate, you should stretch your legs forward and massage the soles of your feet with both hands after sitting meditation to promote the blood circulation on the soles of your feet.

After standing up, the legs alternate between the side servants, pressing the legs, or lowering the lower back.

Because the double disc can easily cause the leg muscles to atrophy, the leg bones to form O-shaped legs, and the weakness of walking floating, so if you insist on sitting and meditating for a long time, massage and side pressure on the legs are also very necessary.

After all, Qin Wudao is a person who has the skills and experience to travel through, so he is not sitting indiscriminately, so that he will get sick from sitting down.

There are also special texts such as meditating in battle to break through the realm, and then killing the enemy, all of which are the author's imagination.

If you don't have a sense of awe and respect for the words you write, then what is conveyed is just a smile and generosity.

If there are still people who see and learn, it will not become a disaster and have a bad influence on people. Even if you don't study, let ordinary people think that this is the case, it is also a kind of irresponsibility to the three views of ordinary people.

A qualified writer is responsible for his own words. If you don't understand, don't write, if you don't understand, you can learn, but you can't mistake people's children, which is also the fundamental reason why modern authors cannot reach the height of ancient authors.

There is no real thing, there is nothing to say, the words written are fake and empty, some lively plots and plots will be remembered, and most of them will be forgotten. An author still has to have his own ethics.

This is also the fundamental reason why online works cannot wrestle with real works. There is no first article, and the literati are crazy, which is also the root cause of writers of real works who generally look down on online writers.

Qin Wudao transformed an environment suitable for meditation, and used ambergris incense and blood bodhi to keep his body and mind in a calm state. After adjusting his meditation posture, Qin Wudao began to adjust his qi:

Keep your breath thin, even, and deep. Thin but not coarse, no sound of breathing can be heard, even but not turbulent, like a trickle of water, do not slow down or rush. Deep but not floating, although the inhaled qi enters the lungs, but in the mind it enters the lower abdominal qi sea (the umbilicus dantian).

Next is the centering:

This is the key to meditation, to keep your mind in one place, not to fall apart. When a person starts to practice zazen, he can't talk about meditation, but at most he can reach meditation.

However, it is impossible for the mind to be delusional, so we must adopt the method of countering delusion with delusion, which is to adjust the mind. There are many methods, such as chanting the Buddha, talking heads, visualizing, counting breaths, and so on.

Of course, these methods of subduing delusions are also delusions, but the difference is that Qin Wudao uses one thought to control ten thousand thoughts, and in the end, if you can't afford it, you will be in meditation.

Meditation is the process and means of entering meditation, not meditation itself. Some people's eyelids flutter during zazen, and the main reason is that your eyes seem to be closed. It is advisable to either open your eyes and turn a blind eye to what is in the present, or you can close your eyes and concentrate on inwardness, and you will not jump again.

When you are in a state of "self-forgetfulness" after meditating, you are prone to hallucinations, which are the accumulation of delusional consciousness for a long time, and you should not cling to it, and use the Diamond Sutra that "all appearances are false" to deal with it.

Some people are afraid of going crazy during zazen? There is usually the word "madness" in online works and even real works, but in fact, it is a high-end realm derived from it.

To be honest, the average person is not qualified to reach the level that can make you go mad. The most common hallucinations that make you feel like you're in a trance when you're meditating are pediatric and don't take it seriously.

In addition, people who sit in meditation continuously, as long as they insist on about two hours a day, after a few days, their body will feel like being bitten by a lot of ants.

After a few days, the feeling will go away. This symptom is called "qi rush lesions".

When you reach this point, the body starts to reflect, and then you are the first on the path to practice.

This is a physical reflection that can be felt by the person himself. This is also the first step for Qi to begin to transform the body to make people subjectively discover.

The cultivation of the Dan Dao is all a reflection of oneself, and the feeling of the body will not deceive people, and one stage and one body reflection will be realized.

You feel it physically, and when you compare it with the Ten Thousand Scrolls of the Dan Sutra, you know what realm you are in. The practice of the body is in contrast to the theory, which is the process of cultivation.

With the four necessary conditions for cultivating the Dharma and the Wealth, Qin Wudao felt that he had already achieved an extreme at present.

Dharma: Cultivating the true Dharma, the know-how of the right path, and not following the evil path.

Wealth: Cultivating wealth, food and clothing, and doing good deeds.

Couple: Cultivation is important, good people take care of it, and the key is to protect the Dharma.

Place: Stay away from the market, practice quietly, and don't hear the noise.

Qin Wudao has exercises, pills and resources, as well as Wang Yan'er and others who protect the Dharma, and this quiet place in Moon Bay can be used as a cave for his retreat, which can be regarded as an alternative consummation.

Qin Wudao put a cloak on himself, took a few deep breaths, calmed down to adjust his breathing, and began to slowly run the technique......
