When it comes to cyanobacteria, the treatment measures that come to mind are more technical.

The most primitive method is the one used by farmers in the Taihu Lake basin, which is to salvage the blue-green algae and use it to soak féi, and where the land is barren, it will be put up. Some agricultural experts believe that cyanobacteria can directly fix nitrogen in the atmosphere, and nitrogen can increase soil féi power and increase crop yields. However, experts from the Water Resources Bureau believe that in addition to the previous records of many failed field algae removal, clay technology itself cannot prevent the re-emergence of algae and secondary pollution of sediment, making it difficult for this technology to be widely used in freshwater lakes. In addition, after the algal bloom is transferred to the bottom of the water, the nitrogen and phosphorus released due to decay or flooding will be returned to the water body. When a large amount of clay is thrown in, it carries the algal bloom to the bottom of the water, which is not obvious in the ocean, but in the freshwater lake, with the help of the wind, it is easy to rise. If the problem is not solved, it can only treat the symptoms but not the root cause.
