Chapter 123: Colored Void
Originally, Xue Feng wanted to retreat, but at Zhang Zhuoyang's insistence, and Li Rui and Yu Meixia also went home here last time, and they had never been to the top of the mountain, so no one accompanied him down the mountain, so he could only follow them up the mountain.
After more than two hours of difficult trekking, not only Li Rui was already panting like a cow, but Yu Meixia was already sweating on her forehead, tired and out of breath, and her steps had already lost their original lightness.
Stopping to rest, Zhang Zhuoyang and Xue Feng fell behind again, each of them holding a branch in their hands, and they were struggling to climb up with their hands and feet, and after waiting for a while, they all climbed up.
"Oops, Mom! I'm so tired, how many ways do I have to go? Zhang Zhuoyang sat on the ground with his butt and said weakly.
Among the five people, only the guide was out of breath and heartbeat, like no one, he pointed to a few houses under the shade of trees on the top of the hill in the distance, and said with a smile: "It's not far, it's ahead." ”
Xue Feng, who was lying on the ground, tried to straighten up, stretched his neck in the direction pointed by the guide, looked at the row of houses that looked like matchboxes on the top of the mountain in the distance, couldn't help but gasp, and wailed in pain: "Let me die!" I really can't walk anymore. ”
Li Rui stood up, patted the dust on his buttocks, looked at Xue Feng who was lying on the ground like a dead dog sympathetically, and said deliberately: "I heard that there are wolves in this mountain, and they will come out to forage for food when it gets dark." ”
"What?" Xue Feng sat up suddenly, a little disbelieving, and looked at the guide with an inquiring gaze, "Is there really a wolf?" ”
The young guide saw that Li Rui winked at him, and he was also very clear, in fact, he also wanted to get to the top of the mountain quickly, and said with a smile: "There used to be a lot of wolves in this area. ”
"Mom!" At this time, Xue Feng was really scared, and hurriedly got up from the ground.
"Xiao Xue, you listen to their nonsense, now that wolves have become protected animals, how can there be so many wolves!" Zhang Zhuoyang still didn't believe it, but after all, he still struggled to get up, and then the two of them tried their best to get up in the last part of the journey, and they didn't fall behind anyway, and followed the guide to finally reach the top of the mountain when they were about to approach the mountains in the distance.
The small temple on the top of the mountain is called Qingyun Temple, the name sounds quite majestic, but in fact it is just a dilapidated five-room stone house, surrounded by a large courtyard outside, the gate is very magnificent, according to the guide, this gate hewn out of stone has been there in the Song Dynasty.
Qingyun Temple is in tatters, the gate is open, there is not a monk in the courtyard, listen to the guide whispering, there are only two monks here, an abbot and a firehead monk, usually basically no one comes, except for the pious villagers under the mountain on the fifteenth day of the first month will come up the mountain to burn incense, and at the same time bring them some rice, flour, grain and oil or something. They also made preparations when they came up this time, and there was a lot of food prepared by Zhu Baoyuan in the guide's back basket.
The slightly larger house in the middle is the main hall of Qingyun Temple, which is dedicated to the Bodhisattva of Jizo, with kind eyebrows and good eyes, square ears and broad shoulders, a Buddha crown is worn high, and the Buddha staff is held in his hand. Jizo Bodhisattva is also called Jizo King Bodhisattva, Buddhism is profound, Buddha's heart is wide, once said: "Hell is not empty, vow not to become a Buddha!" ”。
The hall was filled with cigarette smoke, quiet and solemn. Only a thin old monk meditated with his eyes closed, Li Rui secretly looked at it, and saw that this old monk was very strange and looked like a high-ranking monk.
When they just stepped into the main hall, the old monk opened his starry eyes slightly, two fine lights flashed, and Li Rui, who was walking in the front, was stunned and secretly thought: Is he still a martial arts master? He used to like to read Jin Yong's martial arts novels, and he had the impression that the monks were all masters with martial arts secrets. Li Rui was still more superstitious in his previous life because of business, and now he has experienced rebirth, and he has a more unfathomable feeling about this kind of thing.
The three who followed were all businessmen, and since they came, they also followed Li Rui to worship on the futon, kowtow three times, and offer incense, and this series of bad festivals were all very pious.
Li Rui saw the old monk knocking on the wooden fish slowly, and stepped forward to salute with both palms: "Dare to ask the master's number?" ”
The old monk replied: "Old man, what is the donor's inquiry?" ”
Although it was a little strange to hear this name, Li Rui still said humbly: "The master's law is profound, and it is a great blessing for the younger generation to meet the master today." ”
The old monk showed a smile on his face, and said with one palm: "The benefactor is a wise person, whose heart is not covered with dust, how can he also enter the world's view?" Sincerity is fate, how does insincerity come about? ”
Although Li Rui studied economics, he was influenced by his grandfather since he was a child, and he usually read a lot of books, dabbled in a wide range of things, and knew a little about Buddhism.
"What the master said is very true."
Although he changed his life path after being reborn, Li Rui has always been a little confused in his heart, with a vague future, gains and losses, and he had the heart to ask a few questions, so he asked: "What is self-grasping?" ”
When the old monk heard this, his expression was suddenly solemn, and he said: "All troubles arise from me. If there is no self, there is nothing. Because he saw me, he said that he saw. Because of my appearance, it is called my appearance. Persistence is for me, so it is called self-attachment. ”
Li Rui nodded and asked, "How to get rid of ego?" ”
It is estimated that it is difficult for the old monk to meet someone to discuss these Buddhist truths with him, and he talks about the surname very strongly, and argues eloquently: "There are three main self-grasping: I see, I look, and I grasp." I see: the harmony of the five aggregates of the body and mind, thinking that there is normality, is called self-seeing. It is also said that people see, and there is a difference between people and me, because people see me. I also said that I saw it, and I was obsessed with it. and said, "I will see you; My appearance: also a celebrity appearance. It is said that sentient beings are in the five aggregates, and if they are mixed, they think that 'what I have' is real, and that they are names and appearances. It is also called a human appearance, which means that all beings are in the Five Yin Law, vainly thinking that I am a human being, and I am humane, different from the rest of the Dao, and I am a celebrity; Self-grasping: also known as self-grasping, thinking that the so-called 'me' is the master of life. Acknowledging the existence of my body and obsessing with it is called self-grasping. It is formed by the false combination of the five aggregates that do not know the human body, so it is attached to the self-body of the constant one, which is also called human attachment. There is self-grasping and there is 'dharma', and 'dharma' is the symmetry of 'self-grasping', and it is also the dharma self-grasping, and the dharma is self-seeing. Because they do not know the causes and conditions of the laws, they have no surnames, and they are like illusions, and they cling to the laws as real delusions. If the dharma is broken, the ego can be destroyed; The self-grasping is broken, and the law can be broken. Amitabha! ”
Zhang Zhuoyang, Xue Feng and Yu Meixia were attracted by the exchange between Li Rui and the old monk, but they listened to them one by one, and they didn't understand what the old monk meant at all.
Li Rui thought for a while, and continued to ask: "Can I go, but why is there a lot of red dust?" Does the master have any Dharma to teach me? ”
The old monk smiled and said, "Sekong." ”
"Color? Isn't that the name of the Master? Li Rui was stunned, but the old monk smiled slightly, closed his eyes and did not answer. Li Rui frowned and thought about it, and then it became clear, the color is empty, that is, he is guilty of women, does he really have to look down on women and stay away from women in order to die well?
Since God made Lao Tzu a man and gave him a dust handle, there must be a reason for it, how can he lose the joy between men and women because of the Zen machine of an old monk? If so, what else does it mean to be human? Isn't it just for the pleasure of working hard and earning money to be in power......
"Li Rui, what are you thinking?" Yu Meixia saw Li Rui standing there in a daze, and couldn't help but step forward and pat him on the shoulder.
He woke up suddenly, only then did he realize that he was out of his mind, and hurriedly said, "It's nothing, I'm thinking about Master Buddhism." ”
The old monk smiled slightly and said, "Amitabha, the donor doesn't have to bother, just let everything take its course." ”
"Thank you, Master, for your teachings." Li Rui noticed that there was a lottery holder placed next to him, thought for a while and said, "Master, can you ask for a lottery to indicate the future?" ”
"Donor, please."
He pious and three bows, willing to acquiesce, picked up the sticker, closed his eyes and shook it, only to hear a click, dropped a lot, picked it up, three or four signs, and respectfully handed it to the old monk.
The old monk took a look at it, nodded and said, "Yes." Then he explained: "Sign the clouds: In this mountain, the clouds are deep and I don't know where to go." Suddenly, four or five years, picking chrysanthemums under the east fence. ”
What do you mean? At this time, Li Rui also heard the clouds and fog, and asked the old monk to explain it carefully. The old monk said: "Good causes seek good results, evil causes bear evil fruits, busy and close to it, and the donor slowly understands." ”
Li Rui still couldn't understand, and was about to continue to ask, when the old monk suddenly gathered his eyes and looked at him fixedly for a while. Li Rui found that the old monk's eyes were flowing, like a fog, deep and unfathomable, and his heart suddenly felt a little uneasy.
The old monk suddenly sighed and said, "The secret of heaven must not be revealed, and I will know it later." The donor's affection is deep-rooted, and the heart is covered with dust. It is necessary to know that color is emptiness, emptiness is color, and you must not indulge in it, so as to do it yourself. After saying that, he sang a sentence of "Amitabha", closed his eyes and stopped talking.
Through the exchange of Buddhism just now, Li Rui knew that this old monk did have some skills, although some words were not clear, but he faintly felt that the destination of his life was probably in it, and he would slowly realize it in the future.
He opened the handbag he was carrying, took out a stack of hundred-yuan bills from it, and didn't count it, it was estimated that there were one or two thousand, respectfully gave alms into the merit box, and then took a deep look at the old monk Sekong, turned around and walked towards the door. Zhang Zhuoyang and the others watched Li Rui ask for a sign and listened to the old monk explain the sign, and they were eager to try one by one, and they also stepped forward and kowtowed to draw lots. Just as Li Rui stepped out of the door, he heard the great monk behind him say: "Good, the donor is sincere to the Buddha, and he will bear good results." ”
At this time, he suddenly woke up: it turned out that the monk called the world to the Buddha, but also for the colorful money, more charity is good, less charity is evil, it can be seen that the color emptiness may not be the real emptiness.
