After nearly 1,000 years of excavation, the surface of the earth here is definitely a fight with the surface of the moon, and the ground here has been excavated layer by layer around the many mines around the small town of Mogok, and the huge pit can be clearly seen even at an altitude of several thousand meters.

If there is one place in Myanmar that can be compared to Mogok, it is none other than the Hpakant jadeite mining area in Myitkyina.

Like the jade mining area in Hpakant, the ruby mine in Mogok also belongs to the secondary ore vein, but at this time, Tang Feng can no longer care about the difference between the primary ore vein and the secondary ore vein, and the big deal is to find a location with a river when the time comes, and the corundum ore vein brought from the Himalayas is placed in the mountain, and the ruby mine in Mogok and the sapphire mine in Champhaburi in Thailand are directly spread to the bottom of the river on both sides of the river.

Anyway, no one can see the entire earth's crust clearly, and even if this happens, who can say clearly?

If the primary vein of corundum discovered by Tang Feng at Nanga Parbat Peak is a milky way, then the secondary vein of corundum in this mining area in the Mogu area. Most of them are conglomerate, so from the scanning surface of the star core, the corundum here looks like a star in the sky.

Both rubies and sapphires belong to the corundum family, and both belong to the three series of crystals in the corundum family, and it is only because of the different chromogenic ions that the color changes. Because of this, sapphires and rubies are often found in the same mining area.

For example, the ruby mining area of Mogu is actually sapphire produced here, and the royal blue sapphire produced here is also the best of the sapphires. It's just that the rubies produced in Mogu are so famous. Therefore, when it comes to rubies, the first thing that comes to mind is the Mogok mining area.

This is the same as the star sapphire in Sri Lanka, because the star sapphire there is so famous, so people regard Sri Lanka as the main sapphire production area.

In fact, ruby sapphires are inseparable, just like the corundum vein that Tang Feng discovered at Nanga Parbat, which contains both sapphires and rubies. It's just that the corundum vein discovered by Tang Feng is Taijipin. It is possible to produce the finest sapphires and rubies at the same time.

However, in the corundum vein that Tang Feng brought over, there were a lot of sapphires. And there are many fewer rubies, so Tang Feng hit the idea on the Mogu mining area.

However, the situation in the Mogu mining area made Tang Feng a little disappointed. In fact, just like jadeite, the amount of ruby sapphire in Mogok, Myanmar is now very small, mainly because after nearly 1,000 years of mining, there are more ruby sapphires. I'm afraid it's also dug up.

What's more, now the Myanmar government has announced the closure of the Mogok mining area. It can be seen that there are actually not many corundum veins left here. Otherwise, the Government of Myanmar would not have taken such an approach. You know, the sale of jadeite and ruby sapphire is one of the main revenues of the Myanmar government.

However, Tang Feng did not give up the survey because of this. The function of the star core is not comparable to ordinary survey technology, and the detection depth of 20 kilometers is enough to see through the entire Mogu mining area, up and down, inside and out.

However, the Mogu mining area is only a secondary mining area after all, and the corundum ore here is basically alluvial from the primary corundum ore in the eastern mountain range by relying on the three surrounding rivers, and once the conglomerate layer formed by the alluvium is excavated, then there will be no more corundum ore.
