The first volume of the human world works related to the update
It has been nearly 8 months since the creation of the book, and 700,000 words have been written, which may be a figure that can be completed in two or three months for many authors, but for me, it has been quite efficient.
When I wrote "Sou Shen Ji", it was 1.6 million words in two years and 800,000 words per year, and it was written and published by the Hong Kong and Taiwan Publishing House.
When writing "Xian Chu", it was 660,000 words in two years and 330,000 words per year, and it was written and published in Hong Kong and Taiwan.
When I wrote "The Savage Story", it was 1.2 million words in two years, and nearly 600,000 words per year. Due to the high praise of "Sou Shen Ji", "Xian Chu", and "Yun Mengze" in the magazine, this time the method of serializing while writing was adopted, which was also the most painful thing for me to edit. On average, the real-time serial update every month is about 50,000 words.
When I wrote "Ill Notes", it was also serialized in the magazine while writing, with 130,000 words in half a year.
When writing "Painting the Snake" (the predecessor of "The Wizard of the Sea of Clouds"), the magazine was written while running, with nearly 200,000 words in half a year.
When I wrote "Lightyear", it was 500,000 words in two years, and the magazine was written while running, nearly 250,000 words per year.
Then it's time for "The Wizard of Clouds". Even after removing the more than 100,000 words I deleted in December, as well as the parts that were greatly revised and supplemented at the beginning, there are still more than 500,000 words newly created. In other words, the number of words I have written in the past eight months is already about equal to the number of serialized words in one year of "Savage Record", equal to the number of serialized words in "Xianchu" in one and a half years, and equal to the number of serialized words in "Lightyear" in two years...... Even compared with the youngest and most efficient period of the creation of "Sou Shen Ji", the efficiency is almost equal.
The data is just to show you that as the Emperor of the Hand, I have indeed done my best to provide you with the fastest update speed possible.
But I must admit that in terms of creative energy, it is impossible for me to compare with myself 13 years ago. 13 years ago, I was green and energetic, and I didn't have any troubles to interfere with my creation, except for writing, I was shopping and playing with my daughter-in-law. Thirteen years later, I am still so handsome, but I still have a lot of trivial things that interfere with my work every day, and I have to socialize. I often get home at 8 p.m., turn on my computer and hit my keyboard to try to update by 12 o'clock, sometimes having to delay until 1 o'clock or even later. But what makes me feel a little chilling and unhappy is that many readers are accusing me of being lazy and "untrustworthy".
I would like to ask those who accuse me of being untrustworthy to recall how many times I have broken off in the past eight months. Except for the few days of the Spring Festival (I have accumulated the double number of arrears in the December monthly ticket battle in the form of arrears), as well as the two days off I took when I was sick in the previous weeks, and the one shift I broke on Wednesday, everything else was made up in the form of Saturday rotation of holidays. I'm not an iron man, and there's no need to tell readers the severity of my illness to win sympathy. But I can say with a clear conscience that even during the weeks of my illness, I continued to serialize and conceive every day.
I love every brother and sister of the Gate of God because you have embraced me with such enthusiasm. I must repay you with the most dedicated creative attitude. I couldn't go any faster, but I did my best. I have to be worthy of the words "wild fox under the tree". Your subscriptions and rewards deserve to be rewarded with serious creations that are full of respect for you.
But the serialization without the manuscript is really very painful, and the most painful thing is that I can no longer revise the previous text, and I have no regrets. Many of the new tricks, clues, and ideas may conflict with the previous outline and sub-volume outline. This week's slowdown is due to these.
The novels you see are only the tip of the iceberg that shows the surface of the sea, and most of the iceberg you can't see, they are in my notebook. However, once these ideas are contradicted, the entire complex structure and character relationships will be distorted and collapsed, the logic of the story will be unsustainable, and the relationship between the characters will also change greatly. This is something I absolutely cannot see.
I must admit that I am too tired to be serialized without a manuscript at the moment. Except for Saturdays, the rate at which I have to update every day is also beyond the upper limit of my energy. I need to spend more time balancing myself and coming up with a story so that I can write a more perfect novel that fully represents the world in my head.
So, from now on, I would like to adjust the serialization time to every Friday and weekends. I'm not an iron man, and it's impossible to write well without rest and replenishment.
In view of the fact that there are no manuscripts in storage, the daily update time has been changed to before 12 p.m. If there is a special circumstance, or if I am too sick to persevere, I will notify you in advance.
Above. I hope you understand, and I'm sure most of you will. After all, compared to the speed of updates, we hope to witness the birth of a great work under the rhythm of stable updates.
