The name of the Western Regions was originally derived from the envoy of Zhang Qian when Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty sent an envoy in the previous Han Dynasty, this vast area, west to the Great Qin Empire in the west, and bordering the land of China in the east, the territory is vast. So in the next journey, the white figure continued to teach Xuanzang all kinds of knowledge he needed in the future, and Xuanzang continued to work hard to learn these skills that were of great use to him.

For example, how to set up camp in the desert to resist the wind and sand and the fierce beasts that may be encountered, the white figure at this time has already told the other party that Xuanzang was once followed by a wild wolf, which made Xuanzang afraid after hearing it.

Then, there are all kinds of ability to discern the direction in the desert, you know, losing your way in the endless desert is tantamount to asking for your own death, and this is what Xuanzang admires very much, because no matter when and where, day and night, even in the dim weather when the wind is blowing so that the sand and dust raised obscures the sky, the white figure always has a way to distinguish the direction of the south, south, west, and northwest, such a ability, but even the local indigenous people who have lived in the desert for many years. It's extremely difficult to master.

In particular, under the guidance of the white figure, Xuanzang knew for the first time how to find water in the desert, although the desert is known as a forbidden area for life, but even such a barren land. However, it can also hide a large amount of drinking water beneath the surface, but ordinary people cannot find it. At least, along the way of the two of them, Xuanzang has almost never seen the other party show a look of surprise because of anyone or anything, as if everything in this world is not taken to heart by him, except. When Xuanzang happened to tell the other party that at this time, Middle-earth was in the midst of a great drought in Guanzhong and the people were displaced. At that time, Xuanzang saw the sad expression in the eyes of the white figure for the first time - could it be that among those displaced refugees, there are people related to the companion of the white figure! After all, not everyone. are willing to share their origins with others, and Xuanzang is a monk, even more, don't do to others what you don't want to do.

His understanding of the philosophy of nothingness of Buddhism is also extremely profound, perhaps, he really thinks that the other party is not an earthly human being, but a heavenly messenger sent by Heaven to rescue him because he can't bear to suffer as a loyal Buddhist disciple!

But how is that possible! Xuanzang, who is proficient in Buddhism, knows that in this world, it is impossible for those so-called transcendental, omnipotent super powers of creation and destruction, as well as the gods who control these powers. But they still belong to the category of human beings, and they do not transcend borders.

Therefore, even if it is really otherworldly, the essence of the white figure can still only be a human being, in Xuanzang's view, the reason why he was in distress in the desert and finally got the help of the other party can really only be said to be because of the guidance of unpredictable fate......

"In fact, the road to Tianzhu, in addition to the road along the road traveled by the monks of the era before the Wei and Jin dynasties, and the road to the Western Regions, there is another road, that is, to take Xishu, through the 100,000 mountains that have been occupied by the Southwest Yi people since ancient times, and then go west over the snowy plateau to reach the Tubo ethnic station on the snowy plateau, and then go south along the river valley at the foot of the Tubo Holy Mountain, so that you can go all the way to Tianzhu, whether it is the distance or the time it takes, it will be greatly shortened......"

"Since there is such a road, why have few of the previous Buddhist monks set foot on it?" Although, because of the reason for the hasty escape, even if he knew in advance that there would be such a road, Xuanzang would definitely not be able to walk along it, however, this could not extinguish the share in Xuanzang's heart, besides, Xuanzang's heart was also extremely puzzled, that is, since this road already exists, why would those distant sages give up the near and far, and spend more time and experience to detour to the Western Regions?

"Actually, if you say that you rarely set foot on it, it may not be, Tianzhu has many advanced cultivators who follow this road all the way north to the Tubo and other tribes on the snowy plateau, but at most, when they get there, many walkers will generally stop and stagnate—because after arriving there, the many dangers encountered in the sacred mountain valley of the snowy region on the previous journey are enough to discourage them from the next journey!" The white figure said like this, Xuanzang.

The rest of the journey will undoubtedly be even more dangerous, not only will most of them be in untouched wilderness, but many of them will even have to climb over many inaccessible primeval jungles. And in these inaccessible primeval jungles, the hidden danger is countless times greater than the desert of the Western Regions, which is covered with yellow sand all day long! Among those ancestors in the cultivation, there were many brave people who continued to move forward, but most of them failed to successfully walk out of this road of death, and could only stay in the vast primeval jungle forever. Bury the Wilderness! ”

Swamps, miasma, beasts, poisonous insects, and a humid and hot environment all day long, deep streams that are subconsciously ignored by people's vision because of the cover of the environment, and even wild people with infinite strength...... Countless crises are hidden in this seemingly shortcut to learn from the scriptures, and there are thousands of unjust souls who have lost their lives in it!

Often many roads that seem to be shortcuts are actually only dead ends, so after many martyrs exchanged their lives for lessons. The monks who set out from Tianzhu can only choose to go to Middle-earth through the Western Regions, although along the way, they will experience countless tribulations, but compared to taking the road of Tibet, it is extremely safe and upright!

"So, doesn't it mean that this road is a dead end?" After the white figure explained to Xuanzang in detail the difficulties on this road. Xuanzang's heart was puzzled, so he asked the white figure, "So." Why do you tell me in detail about this path? ”

"yes, why?" The tone of the white figure is very interesting: "Since this road is so difficult, what do the people who originally created this road think?" The white figure said: "Just like the road we walked at this time, thousands of years ago, the civilization of Buddhism. But it did not thrive here, and the native inhabitants of the Western Regions were in the midst of all kinds of barbaric primitive beliefs, attacking each other endlessly! Therefore, at this time, the so-called road through the Western Regions together with Tianzhu and groundbreaking was a long, long time ago. Actually, it doesn't exist! ”

Originally, there was no road in the world, until the ancestors bravely used their own feet to open up the way.

In this way, after the efforts of countless sages from generation to generation, the road of Tianzhu and Dongtu was finally opened up from the Western Regions, and the Buddhist civilization took root in the Western Regions, turning the Western Regions into a prosperous place for Buddhist culture.

What Xuanzang didn't know was that the reason why the white figure would tell him about the dangerous road from the southwest to Tianzhu was to wake up Xuanzang, in fact, the holy land of Buddhism that he was able to obtain the true scriptures was not the ancient Tianzhu country, the birthplace of Buddhism, but at this moment, he did not notice the foot, this road opened up by countless sages. However, it is obvious that Xuanzang at this time of course can't understand the hints brought by his companions, and yes, after all, he has just stepped into his own journey at this time, and it will take a while to understand the hints of the white figure to him.

The journey finally reached the end, but the white figure did not complete the agreement to Xuanzang, and he would have been sent to Shanshan, an important town in the Western Regions, because in the middle of the journey, the two were lucky to encounter a business team that was going to Shanshan to recuperate, and would go to Gaochang all the way, after the two met with the caravan, soon the caravan people learned that Xuanzang was a strong-willed monk, and made a grand wish, willing to go to Tianzhu, thousands of miles away, to seek the true scriptures of Buddhism!

After learning of Xuanzang's grand wish, the people of the caravan expressed great respect for Xuanzang, and told the white figure that they would always escort Xuanzang to Gaochang.

Subsequently, the white figure left alone, because her journey was not the same as Xuanzang, and the reason why she escorted Xuanzang all the way later was just because she felt pity for a while, and did not want Xuanzang, an ambitious monk, to die in vain in the sea of sand, and now, since Xuanzang's life has been worry-free, it is natural that it is also the time for the white figure to regain his free body.

Xuanzang watched the white figure gradually disappear all the way, along the way, although the two walked together, however, from beginning to end, the white figure never showed a moment of face in front of Xuanzang, the women of the Western Regions such a dress custom, Xuanzang has long known, plus the four monks are empty, Xuanzang has never thought of witnessing the face of this companion who will be indefinite.

However, at this moment, when witnessing the white figure gradually disappearing, Xuanzang's heart suddenly gave birth to a trace of inexplicable loss, all the way, until the final separation, he actually didn't know anything about this inexplicable companion, whether it was the other party's origin, whereabouts, or even, even the other party's own face didn't know, Xuanzang even doubted that at this moment, when the other party's figure completely disappeared into the yellow sand, for this experience, would he see it as an illusion!

"Who are you, and is your appearance really just an encounter arranged by fate?" Originally, Xuanzang's heart was convinced of this thought, but at this moment, when the white figure left his side, the huge doubts immediately surfaced in Xuanzang's heart again, and went further, and that was a delusion that he had never thought of when the white figure walked with him:

Could the white figure who had walked with her along the way, under her tightly obscured clothing, be a genuine Middle-earth woman with a soft female voice, rather than a 'elf' born in the desert?
