This stage of replenishing energy into the reservoir and extracting oil is called secondary oil recovery.
The recovery rate of secondary oil recovery can reach 30%-35%, but there are still as high as about 70% of the crude oil left in the ground.
Later, when this kind of water flooding mining reaches the economic limit, for example, the comprehensive water content of China's Daqing Oilfield has reached 98%, if the water injection development method is continued, then the high refining cost will be more than enough to make ends meet! Therefore, on this basis, people began to use various physical and chemical methods to further exploit the remaining oil after water flooding to improve crude oil recovery, and this stage is also widely regarded as the tertiary oil recovery stage.
Because the reserves of crude oil on the earth are limited, and at this stage, the development of human beings is inseparable from the black industrial blood of oil, so how to improve the recovery rate of oilfields has become a major scientific research topic for global oilfield miners and scientists.
You must know that even if three oil recovery times were carried out, only various methods such as polymer flooding, gas flooding, thermal flooding, and microbial oil recovery were used. But it didn't work out that much. As a result, a large amount of crude oil remains in the ground and cannot be extracted by humans.
Just like many oil fields near Beaumont, Tang Feng has roughly surveyed that the land near Beaumont is basically an old oil field group that is more than 80 years old, and under this old oil field group, there are still more than one billion tons of crude oil buried that cannot be extracted.
Most of these fields have been discontinued or are being exploited using tertiary mining technology. But the pieces of crude oil under the ground are still lying quietly underground.
These unextractable crude oils are already unusable for others, but in Tang Feng's eyes, this is the best injection agent for secondary oil recovery.

And this problem is still unsolvable, so it can only be solved by increasing the cost of refining.
And Tang Feng wants to carry out secondary oil recovery. But there was not so much consideration, because Tang Feng did not inject water into the Beaumont oil field. It's crude oil!
Although those old oil fields have been lying quietly underground for almost hundreds of years, the crude oil remaining in them still accounts for more than 60% of the total reserves of the entire oil field. Moreover, although the viscosity of these remaining crude oils is very high, there are still a lot of crude oils in the upper layer that are not very viscous, but they cannot be extracted because the mining technology cannot be reached.
Tang's target is these upper layers of crude oil, which are not very viscous.
The split of the star core can easily transport the remaining crude oil in the upper layer with low viscosity to the Beaumont oilfield, and at the same time replace some of the crude oil with high viscosity, so as to maintain the pressure in the well in the Beaumont oilfield. At the same time, the viscosity of the crude oil in the oil field does not become too high.

Although only the upper layer of crude oil remains. But this amount is still very large, Tang Feng roughly estimated, just these upper crude oils with low viscosity, put together, there must be almost 200 million tons. By replacing these crude oils with those highly viscous crude oils in the formation of the Beaumont Oilfield, the recoverable reserves of the Beaumont Oilfield will not be 130 million tons as previously estimated, but at least more than 200 million tons!
After all, no one knows what kind of oil is contained in the oil layer thousands of meters underground, and perhaps the oil contained in this oil layer is this high-quality light crude oil! Who can say for sure?

The job is not as simple as vein handling or condensing veins.
