Chapter 324: Arhat

Xiao Anan also replied in Chinese: "Hello."

After lunch, Xiao An'an said: "Father, you have returned safely, you should go to the Shwedagon Pagoda to worship the Buddha and thank the Buddha for his protection."

The stand-in smiled: "You should go!"

Burmese Buddhism is different from Middle-earth Buddhism in that this is Upper Theravada Buddhism, which is called Theravada Buddhism. There is no difference between Theravada Buddhism and Theravada Buddhism, just because they have different perceptions of the precepts. The Buddha said a qiē method with one sound, and all living beings have their own understanding according to their kinds, and there is no high or low.

Zhang Jun accompanied the stand-in and Xiao An'an to the Shwedagon Pagoda, which is known as the treasure of oriental art along with the Borobudur Pagoda in Indonesia and Angkor Wat in Cambodia, and the Burmese call it the "Rui Daguang Pagoda".

From afar, Zhang Jun could see the Shwedagon Pagoda hundreds of meters high, and vaguely, he could find ten thousand Buddha lights radiating from the Shwedagon Pagoda, and he was slightly surprised in his heart.

The stupa has four gates, and three people enter through the north gate. There are two large stone lions on both sides of the door, and inside the door is a stone staircase that extends upwards, and on both sides of the ladder stop vendors, selling incense, candles, flowers, etc.

Walking up the stairs, Zhang Jun found that people had taken off their shoes one after another, even Xiao An'an and the stand-in. Knowing that this was the local custom, he took off his shoes and went with the crowd.

Approaching the Shwedagon Pagoda, he had a feeling of being shocked and finally understood why it was called a treasure of art.

Xiao Anan explained that the Shwedagon Pagoda is 112 meters high, and more than 1,000 pieces of pure gold leaf are pasted on the body of the pagoda, using as much as 7 tons of gold. More than 15,000 gold and silver bells are hung around the tower. The top of the tower is all cast with gold, there is a metal umbrella weighing 1260 kilograms on it, 664 rubies, 551 jadeites and 443 diamonds are embedded around, so that the whole golden pagoda treasure light flashes, Yongrong is luxurious, majestic and magnificent.

Zhang Jun secretly estimated that if the Shwedagon Pagoda was packaged and sold, it would be sold for tens of billions of dollars at a discount, but unfortunately this thing was too big for him to move.

Around the main tower, there are sixty-four small towers, and in each small tower, there is a jade Buddha. Entering the pagoda, pilgrims, many of whom are foreign tourists, worship devoutly.

The square outside the tower is paved with marble tiles, and tourists stop or walk, and believers kneel on the ground. Xiao An'an and the stand-in entered the Buddha hall at the four corners of the main tower, and Zhang Jun's perspective enveloped the entire Shwedagon Pagoda, so he waited outside leisurely.

He walked around sixty-four small pagodas, each of which contained a jade Buddha, and when he looked at these jade Buddhas, Zhang Jun found that they all had strong Buddha light surging on their bodies.

With a move in his heart, he remembered the experience of absorbing the Buddha's light on the Guanyin statue in Yang Tiansheng's private collection, as well as absorbing the golden light on the Buddhist scriptures of the "Tantric Vajra Seal".

So, as he continued to delve into perspective, he found that in the stupa, a ray of Buddha light rose up, poured into his eyebrows, and entered the Buddha who meditated on the sea. Suddenly, the image of the meditative Buddha became more condensed and taller.

This Buddha was originally conceived by Zhang Jun by practicing the Heavenly Machine, and later it became one with the Buddha's relics and became what it is now, but I didn't expect to be able to absorb the Buddha's light and grow continuously.

Zhang Jun was curious and wanted to know how much Buddha light this meditated Buddha could absorb. So he went all the way and successively absorbed the Buddha light in the sixty-four Buddha statues one by one.

In the end, the meditative Buddha is simply a golden light. If there is another person who can also see through the Buddha's eyes, he will find that the Buddha light on Zhang Juntian's spiritual cover rises into the sky, shooting straight into the void, as high as more than ten zhang.

After absorbing the Buddha's light, Zhang Jun didn't have any special feelings, so he entered the main pagoda along the stairs. As soon as you enter the Buddha hall, you will see a sitting Buddha statue standing high on it, and many good men and women are worshipping the Buddha sincerely.

Zhang Jun stared at the Buddha statue, and saw that above the Buddha's body was simply a sea of Buddha light, and the thick Buddha light gathered together, condensed but not dispersed. After staring at it for a long time, the immeasurable Buddha's light poured into his eyebrows and hit the meditative Buddha.

In this way, Zhang Jun walked around the entire Shwedagon Pagoda and absorbed the Buddha light on all the Buddha statues. At this moment, the Buddha he meditated on was already ten thousand feet tall, with his feet in the void and the sun and moon in his hands, as if he could bear the entire universe.

At this moment, the stand-in and Xiao An'an had finished worshipping the Buddha and began to walk back. Suddenly, there was a commotion outside the hall, and Zhang Jun found that a large group of monks were walking around an elderly monk.

The old monk seemed to be very nervous, and would stumble every few steps, and if it wasn't for someone to help him, he would have fallen to the ground.

Xiao An'an and the stand-in both walked curiously to the gate of the Buddha hall and watched the monks approach.

Zhang Jun stood sideways, he wanted to get out of the way. Unexpectedly, after the old monk came up, he suddenly knelt in front of him with a "plop", and said respectfully in the local language: "Little monk Shaya, see Venerable Arhat!"

Xiao An'an believes in Buddhism, and of course knows the meaning of arhats, which is the highest fruit among the four fruits of Shamen. The four fruit positions of Shamen are pre-flowing fruit, one-come fruit, non-coming fruit, and arhat fruit.

The ten disciples of the Buddha are all arhats. In Mahayana Buddhism, there is also a great arhat position, which is equivalent to the bodhisattva position of the ten lands.

Zhang Jun was also surprised, so he asked Xiao An'an: "What is he talking about?"

Xiao An'an looked at him with a shocked look and replied, "The mage said that you are an arhat in the world. He was a few kilometers away, and he saw your Dharma body ascending into the void, shining on the ten worlds with affection. ”

Zhang Jun's heart moved, he stared at the old monk, and found that although his body was thin, his spirit was very empty, and he was obviously a monk who had practiced for a long time and had a very good understanding of Buddhism.

He walked up to the old monk, stretched out his hand and stroked the top of his head, and a ray of golden light entered the old monk's body. At the same time, he operated the Dragon and Tiger Zhengang, vibrating the qi and blood around his body and regulating his vitality.

In an instant, the old monk was radiant, and he felt that his vitality had increased many times at once, and his wisdom had also increased.

"Thank you, Your Holiness!" He looked very excited.

All the monks behind him also bowed down, extremely religious.

At this time, the stand-in walked up behind Zhang Jun and said in a low voice: "Eighty-five percent of the people in Myanmar believe in Buddhism, if they think that you are an arhat, you will have more prestige than any government official!"

Zhang Jun was surprised, but he didn't want to participate in the political struggle, and he was leaving in a month. So he ignored what the stand-in said, and "blessed" the monks who visited him in turn.

Some tourists were curious and rushed to come there. Some bold and good deeds were actually mixed in with the monks, and they also wanted to ask for Zhang Jun's blessing.

Zhang Jun absorbed the immeasurable Buddha light in the Shwedagon Pagoda, and he had a mind that could reduce the red dust, and naturally he was not bad for this person, so he did not refuse to come, and gave them empowerment and blessing one by one.

The process lasted more than two hours, and thousands of people received Zhang Jun's "blessing". The old monk and others have been guarding the side, deeply admiring the compassion of the Venerable and the magnificence of the world!

Stroking the top of the last person's head, he said to the old monk: "Mr. Xiao is my friend, if you have any matter, you may contact me through him."

The old monk fell to the ground again and pleaded, "Master, my junior brother Bamo has been attacked by external demons and has fallen into madness, please save him!"

After listening to Xiao An'an's translation, he said lightly: "It's okay, I'll go with you to exorcise the demon."

The old monk then led the way in front, and Zhang Jun followed behind.

Xiao An'an also wanted to know how Zhang Jun exorcised demons, and she became more and more interested in her father's friend. Walking behind, she said to the stand-in: "Father, the old monk Saya is the presiding officer of the Fuji Monastery, and his status in the Buddhist world in Myanmar is extremely high, if your friend can become friends with him, it will help me a lot in politics."

The stand-in nodded: "I know in my heart, and I will try to get him to help you."

Fuji Monastery is one of the most well-known monasteries in Yangon. There are so many monasteries in Myanmar that you can almost come across them right outside your home, but there are still a handful of monasteries like this one that are thousands of monks inside.

Entering Fuji Temple, the old monk Saya led him into front of a black house in the backyard. The door of the room was locked from the outside, and the door was made of iron, and the lock was so large that it was impossible for a cow to break out.

Saya said, "Venerable, my junior brother Bamo is inside, he has entered the Demon Path, his power is infinite, and it is easy to hurt people, so he has been locked up in my temple for three years now."

Zhang Jun nodded and said, "Open the door."

Of course, Saya was not worried that the Venerable would not be able to subdue the demon, so he ordered his disciple to unlock the lock. When the disciple opened the lock, he had a look of fear on his face, and as soon as he opened the lock, he fled far away.

Bamo inside seemed to hear the sound, and he slammed the door open with a "boom". Zhang Jun saw a fat monk rushing out, this body was 1.8 meters tall, with a full beard, long hair messy, and the monk's clothes on his body were in tatters.

His eyes were blood-red, his roar was like thunder, and he rushed at the monks like crazy.

Zhang Jun was secretly surprised, he found that this Bamo was actually a capable person who hugged Dan in half a step!

Bamo pounced, and the monks scattered in fright, and Saya hurriedly said, "Please subdue the demon, Venerable!"

Zhang Jun took a step forward, spat out the mantra of Buddhism, and uttered a syllable in his mantra.

"Phew!"

Bamo's body shook, stopped in place, and turned his head to glare at Zhang Jun, but he still saw through the fierce light, and the murderous intent was rolling.

Zhang Jun strode closer, pinched the twelve heart seals with both hands, and spat out the tantric mantra. After a few moments, Bhamo became quiet and stood motionless.

At this time, Zhang Jun slapped it with one palm and slapped a ball of Buddha light into the center of Ba Mo's eyebrows. Under the perspective, he could already see that there was a gray phantom in Bhamo's body, with a single horn on his head and blood-red eyes, which should be a devil phantom.

He speculated that Bamo must have gone mad while cultivating Buddhism and led to schizophrenia, which is why the current situation happened.

The Buddha's light entered the body, and the phantom screamed strangely, turning into black smoke and disappearing. Immediately Bamo became quieter, he sat down cross-legged, and the blood and qi in his body gradually hugged, and there was a sign of holding Dan.

Zhang Jun was very surprised, as far as he knew, there was not even a master of Baodan in Myanmar, and he didn't expect him to create one!

Carefully observing the process of the other party's knotting and the method of transporting qi and blood, Zhang Jun actually had a comprehension in his heart, and the surging and domineering qi and blood in his body also had a tendency to gradually naturalize the true one at this time.
