47 Chapter 47
Red watched as Pauche got into the car and left.
When he got back into the house, he took out a checkered handkerchief that Pauss had left for him, and as long as he spread it on the floor, food would appear. It is said that she bought it from Diagon Alley, and she was afraid that he would not eat well here, so she specially prepared it.
With it, he believed that his mother was not as ignorant of the wizarding world as his father said, and was even full of fear.
"Gast! Where are you going? The plumber's wife shouted out of the kitchen window.
And the plumber, who was sixty years old, was sneaking out with his small toolbox, and who knew that his wife was still caught. He said casually, "Orn asked me to look at the drain in his kitchen, and I heard it was blocked." His wife was in a hurry to make lunch. โ
"Don't forget to collect money this time!" The plumber's wife banged the window.
This was his sojourn in a Muggle house, and he knew very well that the plumber wasn't going to work, he was going to the pub to play poker, so he always 'forgot' to collect money and come back.
He put away his handkerchief, went to the kitchen, and said, "Grandmother, can I do something for you?" โ
The lady looked at him happily: "Oh, you are so sweet! Help me peel these beans. As he spoke, handing him a basket of beans, he sat down at the kitchen table and slowly peeled them.
"Don't learn from your grandfather, he thinks I don't know. For decades, going out every afternoon, I knew he was going to the bar to play poker, and men always had to have a little secret. Rhett, you'll lie to your wife in the future, but your wife will know about it. This is true for all couples. "The plumber's wife sat there and peeled the corn kernels off the cob, which would not be thrown away, and could be left for fodder.
"Yes, grandmother." Rhett said he already knew. Fathers have secrets that they don't tell their mothers, and mothers have secrets that they don't tell their fathers. They all thought he was a child, so they wouldn't tell him the truth. Actually, he knows it all.
He peeled the beans into a large, clean bowl and thought to himself, these adults are all the same.
"Still, I'm going to pretend I don't know." Mrs. Plumber grimaced and smiled at Rhett and said, "Rhett wants to keep it a secret, too." โ
"Yes, grandmother." Red said with a smile.
- He really doesn't understand these adults. Maybe this is called husband and wife love?
Back in London, Pauss was full of energy, and she felt ten years younger! Even Sister Maria said, "Ann, what's wrong with you?" Is something good happening? You're so happy. โ
Have it? Well, she was so happy that she could give Tom a hug even if he was standing in front of her.
Red found it, and it looked like he was doing well, uninjured, and she was well placed to take him home. What could be better than that?
She cleaned Red's room so hard that she didn't even dare to come in for the last month, afraid to see all this being prepared for him. She sat on Rhett's bed and saw that it had grown in size as if by magicโit was indeed a magic bed.
She threw herself on the pillow and sniffed the breath as if Red was here.
Baby, baby, you're finally back!
However, before Red returns, she has one more thing to do.
She went back to the bedroom and took out Tom's diary from the dresser drawer, she hadn't opened it for more than a month, and wondered if Tom would be mad in it? Young Tom was irritable, she knew all about it.
She sat down, opened it, took out a pen and wrote:
'Tom, you're not going to believe what I know!' โ
Ten minutes later, there was still only one line of paper, and she had to think that the diary had been replaced.
She continued: 'That is the Witch of Ingdontris, I always thought she was just an ordinary witch, who knew that she was still a wizard noble! โ
She told him everything she had heard from Dumbledore about the Ingdontris family, and after writing a full page, Tom replied slowly:
'Is the witch the only one left in the Ingdontris family?' โ
Joy to the Silk! Immediately wrote: 'Yes, I heard that since her mother's death, she is the only one left in the family. She is not married and has no children. โ
Tom was silent again, and Paose continued: 'Tom, I ought to tell you...... From the beginning, I suspected that the witch was your lover...... I've always been deeply jealous of her......'
'Why do you say that?' Tom was curious. Although this was something that Prith had expected, she still felt uncomfortable. She doubted anything could stop him from fulfilling his illusory dreams.
Paucus went to make herself a cup of tea, and when she returned, Tom was still waiting for her.
- Hmph, well, let you meet, I sincerely wish you happiness!
Pauss took a deep breath, forgot all her anger, and continued: 'When we first met, I thought so. You have to believe that women's intuition sometimes works a hundred times better than men's. โ
It is not at all difficult for her to begin to belittle Natme like a jealous woman - God testifies. From the way she wears her hairstyle, including the shoes on her feet and the handbag in her hand, it seems that everything is so vulgar that there is no sense of fashion at all.
Tom listened silently, occasionally asking a few questions to guide her on. He was indeed curious about Natme.
By eight o'clock in the evening, when she had been writing at her desk for four or five hours, she had told Tom almost everything she had said to Natmay. Because she didn't know much about Natme, those words were full of her personal prejudicesโwhich was exactly what she wanted to convince Tom of as a jealous wife.
Until he wrote: 'Looks like, you really don't like her? โ
Paus, tired of saying that she hated women all afternoon, hastily wrote, 'Yes, Tom, I hate all the women who come near you. They would make me sneeze. โ
Then, as if she heard him laugh, she couldn't help but look back, and of course there was nothing behind her. And Tom wrote in the diary: 'It's getting late, go to dinner, I won't leave you, so you can come back in an hour, and then you will find that I am here, not a single step.' โ
While thinking about making something to eat for a while, Rose wrote in her diary: 'Dear, you know, I don't want to leave you for a second. Well, see you in an hour. Then, without waiting for him to write anything, she got up and went to the kitchen.
As she cooks, she thinks that it is not enough to keep Tom interested in Natmay, she needs to make Natme interested in the diary as well, and besides, not to be suspicious. After all, Natmay is a witch from a wizarding family, she must have seen a lot of things with dark magic, how can she not suspect that this diary is dangerous, and thus become obsessed with Tom in the diary, this is a question.
Thinking about it, she can only lead by example. If Natme found out that she was writing something in her diary, but nothing happened, she would be relieved, right? All that had to be done was given to Tom in the diary, who she believed he should be able to confuse her.
She didn't know how long it would take her to write in the diary before she gradually became weak, until she was robbed of her soul and life by the diary, and the longer the better? Hopefully she will hold out until Natme comes, and she even wants to write her a letter to lure her over. However, she dismissed the idea that it was a casual discovery that would convince her that it was all an 'accident'.
At first, she chatted with Tom in her diary when she was fine, and when the boring love words became tiresome, she became curious about Tom's Hogwarts schooling.
She said, 'Our son Rhett is just like you, he must be a wizard too, maybe he'll go to wizarding school like you, don't you think?' Tom. โ
In the diary, Tom has no feelings for Red, she sometimes thinks he even hates Rhett, and every time he talks about Rhett, he is impatient.
He wrote: 'Oh, that's hard to say. I don't think he'd have that credentials. Hogwarts wasn't that easy to get into school. If he's an idiot, I'd rather he'd be a Muggle. Otherwise, people in the school would only embarrass me if they know that he is my son. โ
Of course, Pauss would retort to him, 'This really doesn't look like you.' Aren't you glad that Red is a wizard? You said he would be a great wizard like you. Tom didn't say that, of course, but she knew that when she did, Tom would only echo her in his diary.
Sure enough, he wrote: 'Dear, of course I look forward to it. He's our son, isn't he? โ
Pauss sometimes had a strong sense that Tom was mocking her when she wrote these words, just as she was coaxing Tom in her diary with sweet words, and he didn't fully believe her. Neither of them just wants to admit defeat first.
Of course, Tom, he is our son, and you and I love him. As she wrote this, she wanted him to understand that she loved Rhett and that he should love him as much as she did.
For several days, she would spend one to two hours a day writing in her diary, and in order to ensure that Natme would see her as soon as she saw her, she would take him with her even when she went to the church hospital. More than half a month later, late one night, she finally waited for Natme, when she had just finished taking a shower, her hair wrapped in a towel, and she sat on the bed in her pajamas and talked to Tom in the diary before saying goodnight.
As she spoke, she wrote, "Dear Tom, I'm glad I still have you and me by my side, otherwise I really don't know how to live this life." โ
Tom wrote in his diary: 'Of course, Paus, you have to believe me too, and I don't want to leave you at all times. โ
She was laughing as she watched, and suddenly the diary flew out of her hand! She looked up and saw Natme standing in front of the window, the diary in her hand.
- It's finally here!
Pauci screamed, grabbed something like madness and threw it at her, shouting, "You thief! You scumbag!! Give it back! That's what the owner left to me! She jumped out of bed and threw herself at Natme.
Natmay suspects that Tom is using this to connect with Paus, which makes her angry. Why didn't Tom leave anything for her? But it was left to this woman? Could it be that Tom believes she is better than himself?
She pulled out her wand and petrified Paus, and walked away with the journal. She was going to rush home and check it out, and if Tom could really contact someone through this notebook, she was going to ask him why he hadn't told her all the time.
Pauss was petrified and fell to the floor, only to return to normal at dawn, when she had been lying on the floor all night. The next day she caught a cold, but she was so happy! She was halfway there, and she believed that Tom in that diary would do everything he could to confuse Natmay, but she didn't know when he would take her soul and magic.
She remembered that Ginny Weasley had spent a semester in the story, so she probably had to wait another year to do so?
God willing, all the best.
